I think I was expecting to much from DB Kai, but it was nice to watch after all. Not that much, just a remasterization of the original DBZ, with lots of the so called "fillers" removed, making the 200 episodes (end of Cell's Saga) go to 97 episodes.

Violence was somewhat restricted, minimizing blood on some scenes and the animation was smoother, but nothing too special or different from the original work.

I give 9 for the efforts and hope this work could help on bringing a new DB series someday in the future.

I was waiting too long to see Broly in action, after all, he is one of the main reasons that made me rewatch the entire DB series this year.

The movie didn't disappoint. Broly is a fearless monster with no fellings at all, the true essence of any saiya-jin warrior. As the story goes, Goku gets to fight against him and, in my opinion, this was one of his toughest battles, since Broly had unlimited power, besides being a lot stronger.

As in many other battles, Goku doesn't give up, even after taking serious damage. He brings hope to everyone when everything seems lost and keeps fighting, ...

This movie is just amazing! Despite being, in some ways, a retelling of the original story, I can say that it's an improved DB's beginning, with all main characters (some with minor changes in their appearance, like Staff Officer Black and General White).

Better renderized, it just became beautiful and gives joy to watch. The original magic got stronger with this special animation and it surely won't disappoint anyone who loves DB, and even the ones who had never watched it.

Some characters were excluded, like Pilaf and his comrades, and some members from RR (Colonel Silver, Captain Yellow etc.), but those were less important in the ...

Well, it's pretty hard to write a review about DBGT. Despite what everyone says about the anime, like the fact that it wasn't related to Akira's manga, I can't just say that I didn't enjoy watching it.

Story changed its main line suddently, but the "essence" didn't fade, in my opinion. The fighting theme still remained, as well as many other values, like hope and family. Strong bosses and great battles are also featured in it.

Of course, it can't be compared to DB and doesn't even get close to DBZ, but I laughed, I cried, I believed...

Since I watched it as kid (like DB and ...

Dragon Ball Z (Anime) add
Dragon Ball Z is just the max in terms of action and fighting. Epic battles, that take a long road, until the bad guy is finally beaten (with tons of style and emotion), including a good amount of funny moments as well, DBZ is THE recommendation of an anime everyone should see.

But it isn't all about fighting. Family, friendship, love, hope and self-confidence are represented very well and some important lessons can be learned all the way it goes, like strength is given to those who have something to protect.

A stronger enemy after another, every saga has its major antagonist, that, after intense, breath-taking fights, ...

Dragon Ball (Anime) add
Dragon Ball is surely a nice way to be introduced into the anime world. It's just amazing to watch.

The anime itself is not entirely based on Dragon Balls, it's far more than that. Friendship, love, adventure, hope, these are its main characteristics.

It's really funny, no stupid jokes or absurd situations, only natural, truly pure laughts. Sure it still has its share of action moments, focused on the countless fights and problems that Goku and his friends encounter through their numerous journeys, but those are just responsible for maintaining the anime's perfect "balance".

Also, it's possible to notice a huge variety of cultures as the story goes ...
