From my point of view, this series had everything I was expecting: more Sesshomaru, strong female characters, further development on the main cast of the original Inuyasha series. I struggled a bit to connect with the characters until about the 6th episode of this series. This anime had good laughs, great character development, great sound design, and the art was still awesome.
It wasn't overly creative and overly dynamic. It been great to see how everyone was still affected by the Shikon Jewel and how characters have changed in response to the absence of the Jewel.

I normally don't write reviews for anime but I found that I should write one for this one. I was surprised that something with this much age could still be relevant today. I adored the music and the interaction of all the characters. I knew however that though Spike longed to be with Julia it would never happen. Their life together was doomed from the start because something that genuinely doesn't exist in reality and rarely in stories. I enjoyed the crew of Spike, Ed, Ein, Faye, and Jet. I felt that in some way they all needed each other to fight against the boredom
