WataMote is unique in the way that it mamages to tell you two different kinds of story while doing the same thing over and over again. At the first glance at its protagonist - socially awkward shut-in Tomoki who just wants to have friends - it's hard no to sympathize her. After all most of us had simillarly embarrasing episodes in our lives. And every time she does something stupid you can't help but cringe.
