Too many moving parts
It's quite enjoyable but there's to many characters with their own backstory's to be appropriately fleshed out in a 12 episode anime. You can tell the writers were praying for a 2nd season if Xs character plot wasn't one that was focused on somewhat it was either dropped completely or given some drops here and there to make you know its still going on but it wont happen unless there's a 2nd season.
but like I said its enjoyable, The art style while not flash is nice and simple, the cgi is better than most anime even some bigger ones.
