I found this anime way back in around 2019 or 2020 because of misty cronexia(Is that how it's spelled?) and it very quickly became my favourite comedy(Right up there with Grand blue and Konosuba). Although I'm a guy who has no idea what being a girl is like, I loved the humor, loved the characters and loved the setting. I remember almost tearing up while listening to the ending song of the last episode because I was sad that it was ending (Ed song is also one of my all time favourites) and I still haven't finished the manga till today because I don't want ... to see it end.
Maybe it's finally time to finish it for real.

In the end the humor might not appeal to everyone but if it does hit you the right way, then you might fall in love with this anime as much as I have.

This isn't really a review, this is just 20 year old me talking about a show that made around 6-8 year old me strongly feel things that no child should feel.

When I was a kid I watched a lot of normal cartoons. Until this Arabic channel called space toon popped up. It aired regular cartoons but had this large scale power ranger type show with a massive character cast, blazing teens and cartoons that were very different.

This show was extremely different and left me a crying shivering self hugging mess Evey episode I can vaguely remember.

My strongest memory from it was an episode ... when the brothers were alone at night and the toddler started crying. It was in Arabic so I couldn't understand what was being said but I think he wanted his mother. That episode wrecked me, I cried myself to sleep and probably felt like shit for days, just recalling if is already making my eyes moist, imagine a big 20 year old black guy crying from memories of a show he barely remembers from his childhood. I'm a f***ING mess. I wish I could go back in time, hug kid me and lie to him that everything was going to get better.

Alright, rant done. But the fact that something from my childhood was able to emotionally affect me so strongly even as an adult means that it must have been a great show. Either that or I'm just an emotionally wrecked overgrown child with mommy issues. What I know for sure is that I will never watch this show properly because it will probably wreck me even more as an adult.
