If you don't mind plot holes, shallow characters, heavy topics breezed over, and silly school romance, you're gonna love this! Long story short, very shallow plot with really nothing happening. If you're watching this for a turn-your-brain-off romance, go ahead. It's pretty bad rep, but does have a single good conversation that homophobia is bad. C.W. for Incest, rape, + classism tho. ;D
Plot: The story matches the synopsis pretty well. It's a painfully average plot but does discuss how the world views queer people and how it can be perceived, albeit it gets brushed over and talked about once, only to be never spoken of

again. The storyline is okay. It's the typical magic school setting, but what does irk me and makes me NOT recommend it is the way the antagonist shows up for ONE episode, and it's over. A lot of the story is honestly filler in itself, just showcasing who's strong and not building on their character, maybe just one or two traits. BUT, there are sweet and funny moments. I think the author wanted to include major topics, like the previously mentioned view of queerness, but, includes an episode themed around classism that doesn't go anywhere, and it's treated as if the working class was in the wrong. Additionally, incest. Just why. Incest pops up but is COMPLETELY disregarded when handling the perps or referring to it. Yick. Lastly, a character openly admits to raping somebody made up a sick excuse THEN says they'll rape another as BAIT?! Hell nah.. Solid 3/10.
Characters: They're very 2D. I say 2D instead of one dimensional because they'll have actual emotions (not counting being sad over a tragic backstory, or sad because boohoo nobles have to be perfect) for a brief period. The main character and her love interest is the most developed, as usual, but everybody around her doesn't really do much. You'll enjoy seeing how they slowly adjust to each other and learn. It's sweet. Then the author forgets, hehe. 5/10
But overall, people don't care if it's good or bad when it comes to WLW (women loving women) relationships, so do what you will.
