The story is like all gyaru stories that are similar, but with the twist that’s it’s from the readers pov. It has the cliches but they are well thought out and so are the main characters you can feel the personality with each female lead. Otaku-kun(you) has no feeling or emotion in his speech, which makes a bit of sense since it’s supposed to be us. But it kinda ruined the pov aspect of it since it felt like I was a robot. It’s extra short so we don’t get to see much of the characters backgrounds but it seemed like there was going to ... be alot more chapters some the ending felt a bit rushed. It didn’t completely tie the loose ends which I’m surprised that this manga even had. It’s in full color so it’s extremely easy to see everything, but I’m every chapter the main focus is on one of the four “female leads”. The percentage bar at the end of each chapter was a nice touch and I enjoyed seeing the percentages, it felt similar to a vn which was a nice touch. In the end it was a good time waster which only took me an hour to complete all the chapters.

Cheating Craft was the one of the worst anime I've watched to date. The first episode introduced an interesting concept, but they had no clue on how to execute. It was confusing, didn't make sense, and the characters had no depth and the power system was terrible. Starting from episode 2 I got the feeling they had no clue what to do with this series and was just putting episodes out. The biggest problem is that they made the show have no direction. The show never went in a linear path, it just went backwards. The music was alright for a show this bad. The ... other issue this show has was the power system. The power system literally makes no sense, and since there's literally 5 characters who get screen time, you really don't know what the power system can be based on.
