OK, I doubt anyone will read this but I guess you're supposed to have some sort of bio if you spend so much time on this website. I don't consider myself a weeb (Japanese culture freak I mean) but I'm huge fan of anime as a medium. If you're looking for interesting anime, I think you should watch all of my favorites listed below, even if you don't find my overall taste appealing. (Why would you find it unappealing? Like dude, I'm trying)
I love Umino Chika, anime is big part of my daily life but both 3gatsu and H&C are very special to me and Umino's works probably impacted me the most of any other piece of media.

I recently made a sort of tier list of all anime I watched and removed all my ratings. So now some scores need to be readjusted and some of them are much harsher than before because it landed in the lowest tier and I rated those 3-4/10 before making this tierlist etc.

In my case fav. manga = fav. anime with exceptionally good source as I used all 10 slots for anime and I almost don't read any manga at all. (Kurosawa and Shinsekai yori are exeptions)
I'm huge hipster and I avoid acknowledging mainstream things, so I add characters to favorites only if they aren't part of the main cast.
I usually don't add dropped series if I've seen just few episodes.

*Shinsekai Yori adnotation: I really recommend to read source material and treat anime as "rewatch" because it's incredible story but because of budget issues, compressing story to 24 episodes and simply losing out on fantastical fauna description anime's simply much worse than book.
