I'd recommend this anime to friends or others that like Martial Arts but mixed with some cyberpunk type genre. There are alot of martial arts anime's that are pretty much the same or similar. Swallowed Star I think is unique with its mixed genres, but still similar to its origins. That its done in 3D, which turns alot of people away; I personally don't have an issue with 3D anime's.
What I liked about it was the fact that, the MC of the anime doesn't become OP immedaitely. It gives consistant issues for the MC to understand & learn that, there's always someone stronger. Which

I like the anime so far, it's not you're typical OP Cultivator MC & it let's the audience know that. I can understand how some people aren't a fan of the 3D animations, that most 动画(DongHua/anime) use. I myself don't understand why but, I enjoy them anyways. It gives a classic DongHua vibe.
The character grows from each experience, although a few of the villain's are your typical over confidant type; It's to be expected in the martial arts type of anime. !Warning! (Spoilers)I thought it was good at first, but what I wanted to know is why was there a sudden weird looking marble; Its like a save point, when ever they mess up, just replay by throwing the marble. Overall it was okay, except the ending. Which I didn't understand at all. It was just like an anime that I have seen where the ending just suddenly ends.
