...then you might like Hikari no Ou add

Those anime are totally crazy. First of all, the most obvious similarity is the aesthetic and ambiance of the two and the both shocking and impactful moments they show out of the blue. The plot and characters are over the top. Music compliment the feel of both anime, too. Their genre is fantasy adventure with kids as the main protagonists. Don't get discouraged by the animation of Hikari no Ou in eps 2-5, it gets better. Hikari no Ou is the hidden gem of 2024.

Both tv shows are romances depicted in junior high school. Both about a girl and a boy who try to understand what is love/relationships and their process to interpret, understand and experience it. Both shows are in the cutsie side of the genre but have a hidden dramatic undertone which hits you hard. As The Dangers in my Heart storyline progresses feels more and more like Tsuki ga Kirei.

This anime feels like a mix of Death Note and Breaking Bad. The fedora must be a reference to Breaking Bad. Also, at an episode the main character says my lungs are weak or something. Tetsuo is Light, Majima is L and Kasen is Mikami Teru.

Both series are horror and have grotesque depictions of the main characters while suffering. Also, the character designs are pretty similar to one another. Both anime try, kinda unsuccessfully, to include specs of comedy in between incidents without interfering with the main plot or the horror aspect though. Amazing gore and atmosphere in both.

Chainsaw Man is a much superior version of Demon Slayer with a little bit worse animation. The story and characters are way more interesting. The main cast in both series are monster slayers and the gore is plentiful in both.

Two romance anime in which the main character has a love interest which is not normal by society standards. Each story is depicted in the most realistic way possible and both anime have a conclusion.

Both shows are built around a crew helping the captain of a machine to properly attack the enemy. Big build-ups before the final attack. Those machines/vessels are Yamato and Eva respectively.

Both shows main drive is the existence of doppelgangers which are actually shadows with various super powers. Some shadows turn out good but their creators are villains. Both shows are dark in their own way.

Both anime deal with yokai (ghosts) and their protagonists who can see them while the rest of the world can't. Both protagonists try to avoid the evil yokai, although Natsume talks to them while Miko is scared to talk to them. Mieruko-chan has a LOT of fanservice as well but Natsume doesn't. Also, both protagonists are students and some events take place at school.

Realistic approaches in both anime in which the protagonists try to understand their peculiar/different kind of love and deal with it. Koi kaze is about a brother loving his sister and Bloom Into You about two girls loving each other.

-The closest anime villain you can find to Shogo Makishima is in this anime -Detective solves many different cases but there is always the same villain as the mastemind.

-Similar psychological aspects and power play between key characters. -Manipulation plays a key role in both anime. -Supernatural powers are similar too. Death note has the notebook and Pet has some short of hypnotism power. -Nice art and animation style in both anime.

-Two traveling companions in a Samurai era. -Main male characters are immortal in their own way; Sugimoto can fight his way through everything basically without dying while Mugen is indeed immortal and his wounds are instantly healed. -Both anime have deep and amazing story and characters -Animation is decent to very good as well.

Badass main characters slaying monsters with side characters that keep growing as characters and become stronger.Guts and Hyakkimaru are both indifferent towards people but kind. They are also both inflicted by a curse. If you are a gamer, Dororo anime is basicaly like the Witcher.

...then you might like Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai add

MC saves cute girls from a certain supernatural event and they build their relations with each other. Bunny Girl focuses more on the romance aspect while Little Busters on the friendship aspect. MC is snarky in the first one while the MC on the second is plain nice. The plot in Bunny Girl is better but the ''feels'' are there for both anime.

Both shows have an unknown creepy being who holds their lifes in his hands.However, this being has unknown intentions and its role is vital but passive most of the times.Both shows involve children and it is shown how they deal with their problems.

Both very underrated samurai shows.Badass and intelligent main characters. Very realistic characterizations and mature content. Both shows contain plenty fighting scenes.Angomois focuses on the action while Onihei on the mystery.

Amazing shows with immense character development. The good characters of the shows try to uncover the mystery of a huge powerful dragon and a way to defeat it.

Similar looking enemies in both shows attack the world and the main characters are trying to find out what these enemies are and where they are coming from.
