I don't want to write a long review for this anime, just because I know how skewed my view-point is.

I love Isekai (sent to another world) anime... even the bad ones.

But the only reason I did not rate this show higher, as well as the reason that I was inspired enough to write a review is because I just finished reading the Light Novels and the detail in the LN versus the anime made me rate it low.

I feel as though they could have taken a Log Horizon pace to the story and stretched it out, while still being interesting as well as more informative ... of what is going on.

Really I just want to say that this is an anime that if you enjoy anti-heros and if you really love Isekai anime at all you should watch this with out a doubt.

All I want to say is: Looking for something I haven't seen yet on Crunchyroll... Genre search: Ecchi and Comedy (looking for a short 12 episode show to laugh at)... 'School Days' comes up. I have seen this show pop up numerous times when looking for shows to watch. I don't usually read up on shows anymore, just look for ones I haven't seen.

First episodes betrayed me.

Let me just say, I hate this show too much to rate it highly.

But I appreciate the way this show messed with my feelings enough to appreciate what it was trying to do.
