K on is K on. It's the most "comfy slice of life" a show can possibly get. This kind of thing isn't really my jam, but something about K on works. I'm not quite sure what. Some shows of this vein work because I can imagine the stuff happening to me, or because it makes fun seem more possible in life. K on presents a world so idealized and cute that it doesn't really work in this manner. But it works in another manner. In that I wish that a world so cute really would be possible. At least for a time.
