Beautiful story ruined by that well known "perverted humor" that japanese seem to like (I know its an ecchi, wish it wasn't).

A mix of horror, romance and comedy.

Horror wise, its not that hardcore its more of an unsettling feeling than raw visceral horror, which is fine, enough to point to a certain aesthetic that fits the show.

On the romance side of things, its a typical "love at first sight, but didnt realize at the time" nothing groundbreaking but not boring or too excessive, its cute.

The comedy, I despise ecchi, HAHA BIG TITS FUNNY, HAHA NO CLOTHES, honestly the only thing this does is ruin otherwise ... good shows.
In this case it feels out of place, you are getting emotionally involved with the show and the BOOM, JOKE, COMEDIC RELIEF, and not good jokes, its just horny garbage.

Pros: Incredible use of colour (its really saturated, contrasty and grimy)
The serious parts are directed incredible well.
Memorable soundtrack.

Cons: Final episode is kind of a joke, it starts beautifully but by the end they make an unexpected change which I hated, but
maybe some people will like it, i dunno.

Even if you dont like ecchi, the core principle is so good and executed so well that i would recommend you watch it.
Nothing groundbreaking tho.
