This series is so fucking bad.

So the first episodes are actually intersting but then Yona's first lover who is supposedly human proceeds to beat up tens of people by himself, then they fall from a CLIFF and escape without a single major injury :). After that they meet the only character in the world that can guide them immediately so they begin their search for dragon boys. The formula is: Find dragon boy, dragon boy initially doesn't like Yona, something happens, dragon boy falls for Yona and joins the party. Author repeats this for 3 times and at the end when 4th dragon boy comes ... around the author gets so lazy he doesn't even bother with the formula and 4th dragon boy joins them instantly XD.

The male characters (except Yona's cousin Su won) are at the level of dating sim love interests. Absolutely trash with the archetypes being socially awkward, first appears as an airhead but actually has a complex and sad backstory xd and so on.
The main character Yona isn't absolute trash like the others but she is SEVERELY blown out of proportion. So after everything that happens she decides to actually do something which is commendable. I have no problem with that but what she does is the most basic human thing that a human could do: Improvise, adapt, overcome. I can agree that her will power and effort are above average but that's it. Even the title of the series is "Yona of the Dawn" XD. She is treated like some sort of saint savior that brings the methaphorical dawn just for being above average at best... She also is the most special unique dragon saint or something and randomly becomes Deadshot xd.
The character I personally like is Su-won. He sacrificed himself, his family, his love, all for the sake of that tiny god forsaken kingdom. The previous king was so garbage that entire villages are starving becasue of him. After Su won sacrifices everything to become king and actually do something for his people, he is treated like the main antagonist even though he is actually the hero of this trash story.

In conclusion, this series has trash story with bad to mediocre characters and the only redeeming quality being Su won.

Story: Just wandering from place to place not much story just a gathering of random events
World building: every place is the same the world is as generic as it gets the most 5/10 to ever exist which in itself is impressive i guess

So, the incident happens in the 8th episode. Well, throughout the episodes I watched there were occassionally very young kids(as low as 10) getting touchy while naked, but the 8th really did bring home the bacon. So the protagonist is sitting in his bath after an exhausting day, then suddenly, five women come into the room completely naked and join him in the bath(somehow), then they all proceed to rape him together. Now, do you wish to know who the women were?

SO the women who raped the 13 year old were: two 10-year olds (YOU GOIN TO JAIL IT'S OVER I WARNED YOU), his classmate, a random adult woman AND HIS SISTER! ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING! (This is on crunchyroll btw XDD).

Story: 3/10 Very Bad
Kirito#2^31 gets KIDNAPPED to trash fantasy world#2^31 with seito kaichou#2^31 and third wheel kazuki. There they meet king baby chicken#2^31 in the copy pasted palace. After that, sexy OP woman who is probably insane but then it turns out she is a tusdenere omg who would have expected that not me#2^31(at least she wears clothes) takes him away to become the true protagonist and get all the bitches.

Characters: 1/10 Appalling
The main characters are INSANE. So, the biggest turd on the covers of the anime (I refuse to call him "protagonist") is an EVIL PSYCHOPATH. For example: he is sent deep into a ... forest to kill a bear who has wronged no one as far as we know. He stalks him and his family for a while but when he is ready to kill him for literally nothing, he finds out the Papa bear was killed so he takes his orphaned son away as a pet. After a while, he stumbles into Papa bear's old home and with a sad face and a voice with a sad hue while looking pityingly at his pet he says:"This is the den where Blurin used to live. His parents were killed by a giant snake monster." LIKE HE WASN'T ABOUT TO KILL HIS PARENTS COMPLETELY UNPROVOKED. WHAT AN EVIL PSYCHOPATH! SCARY! Also, since he is in another world he will likely never see his loved ones ever again. Forget the permanent crippling effects such a separation would cause especially to a child, this joke of a character is happy about not being an npc anymore except a turd that starts using healing magic simply becomes a healing turd :). Speaking of psychopaths, we have student council president who is also EXALTED to be kidnapped from her family in order to earn a living by killing everything that crosses her path in someone else's war in another world. SCARY! The rests consists of the tsundere captain and the 3rd hero who is an npc which unironically makes him seem the most human out of all and thankfully, he SPECIFICALLY isn't dating seitokaichou since he is not the main character nor the love interest XDD. Wouldn't want the pretty girl to be snatched from the main turd now would we? XDD

Music: 4/10 Bad
Art: 2/10 Horrible
I honestly don't care about music much, but I was forced for a few seconds to listen to it while looking to skip the intro and I wasn't captivated enough to listen fully. I have even less of a knack for art so I won't talk about it EXCEPT there is one thing completely INFURIATING that I am sure anyone above the age of 18 would agree with: The demon general woman who is in PANTIES ALL THE TIME. I am so tired of this thing where women can't get any pants. You are a general of the demon kings army and at best you dress like a fool who is playing around and at worst you dress like a harlot IN FRONT of the king of demons and on the battlefield. I don't appreciate when women are treated like this. I seriously gave art 2/10 just for this mockery.

Every "attempt" at humor was just the turd making faces that made me wish I could just go there and rip his jaw off. Other "attempts" at humor ware the bear who was acting not like a wild animal but a chinese zoo bear. Animals in anime acting so human and making the sounds of people who have no idea what the animal's actual noises are, are DISGUSTING!


In counclusion, if you do the arithmetic mean of all the scores I've given, you get 2, meaning 2/10 for this piece of garbage. Horrible.

When did this series go bad?

I can exactly pinpoint the moment the series went down the Mariana Trench. Episode 81 "Thaw". From then on dumb shit became the norm for this series, including but not limited to: every shot projectile will miss the target without fail and a new unheard of ability of the titans, that most likely not even Eren or THE FOUNDER know about, was unlocked when the plot needed it most, completely out of the blue. I agree with Annie, I also didn't know titans would really be able to fly, HOW CONVINIENT! TRULY A MIRACLE! Also, wasn't Ymir's intention to ... kill them all? Then why when she had Pieck completely stuck she didn't finish her off? Or just straight up tell them to stop since she is THE FOUNDER, they would have had no choice but to listen. Why didn't she just yeet Armin 10 km away if she saw him as a great danger or, once again, just tell him to stop. What happened to the archer warhammer titans and beast titans after they landed? I think it would have been so easy to just summon thousands of them and shoot our protagonists into oblivion, but I guess since the projectile guaranteed miss rule is active it wouldn't have made sense to do that. XD.

The most infuriating thing in this series, surprisingly, is not the level of plot armor that is making "Demon Slayer" jealous, it is, in fact, the characters. So, let me get this straight, you were invaded by some evil people that LITERALLY KILLED YOUR FAMILIES, and then you suddenly become best friends who look out for each other. These people ACTUALLY killed their childhood friends, people that they knew for years and grew up with, shot them in the fucking head without much hesitation, in order to help their mortal enemies. One revolting instance of this happening is when Jean is holding Reiner so he doesn't fall and get trampled and says to him: "We're Scout Regiment"-TO FUCKING REINER, the one who killed Marco, a memeber of the "Scout Regiment" and many many others. XDD.

Yeah this series is trash now which is really sad. I am currently at the 26 minute mark of the 2nd episode seeing if I can endure the finale, so pray for me! I need it!

Demon Slayer is going downhill FAST. DON’T QUESTION WHAT’S GOING ON JUST CONSUME MORE CONTENT!

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the beautiful animation and the epic battles that take place but that's pretty much all this series has going for it.

Demon Slayer has 2 very big problems that somehow keep getting worse and worse:

Firstly, the plot armor is RIDICULOUS. Last season "human" characters were getting stabbed in the heart and fighting on like nothing happened and this season IT'S GOTTEN EVEN WORSE SOMEHOW. The best example of the plot armor is when one-season-use hashira was submerged under water, completely ran out of oxygen, so in ... order not to die he grows gills or something to be able to BREATHE IN WATER, don’t question it. Not only that, he breathed in annoying kid #4's breath, which, if you didn't know, has enough CO2 to kill because of asphyxiation, especially someone who has NO air left, then, of course, after almost drowning, water still present in his lungs and being posioned with tens of needles he manages to defeat an UPPER FUCKING RANK, don’t question it. I too would be upset if I was Gyokko since this is just unfair, like imagine living hundreds of years and a kid with a sword after 3 tragic flashbacks just kills you lmao, don’t question it. Same with Zohakuten, you beat the shit out of your enemy but she has 2 flashbacks and she becomes infinitely stronger and uninjured, don’t question it. Foolish Gyokko and Zohakuten for thinking our immortal main characters die after getting killed or getting life ending injuries, don’t question it. AND AFTER ALL THIS, comes Bakugou from Wish that out of nowhere eats demons to grow stronger, something that has never happened before because the story needs to progress somehow, don’t question it, then Tanjiro learns lighting breathing technique in 0.5, seconds, don’t question it, Tanjiro's cranium is cracked by upper four's might, of course no injuries and said upper four loses in brute strength to Bakugou from Wish, don’t question it, Tanjiro falls off a cliff, of course he doesn't die or sustain permanent injuries OR AT LEAST GET KNOCKED OUT, instead he goes Super Saiyan once more and becomes invincible, don’t question it.
You know demons die from sunlight right? WELL NOT ANYMORE!
OUR CUTE NEZUKO JUST BASKED IN THE GOLDEN RAYS OF THE GLORIOUS SUNSHINE AND NOTHING HAPPENED TO HER, IN FACT, IT MADE HER ABLE TO TALK WHY NOT? DON’T QUESTION IT! JUST CONSUME!
Demon Slayer is overdosing on Power of Friendship and Deus ex Machina, the worst one being, even worse than the power of friendship, a mark that randomly appears on seemingly anybody at the most convenient time possible that makes them from powerless humans to invincible gods, DON'T QUESTION IT!

Secondly, the characters are seriously lacking.
Our "true" main characters which appear in every season are Tanjiro, the hypocritical maniac with a savior complex, who is too busy virtue signaling others while cutting heads off for a living, and Nezuko who is still only able to growl like an animal. The one-season-use characters are also boring. I am unironically more interested in the upper moons than the supposed one-season-use main characters. So, we have pink hair girl whose only personality trait is the fact that she has big boobs and likes to show them off, we have guy that appeared for 2 seconds in season one and now has half and episode just for his tragic backstory whose personality is the fact that he is Bakugou, then we have guy, whose father left him like mist, using mist breathing technique who has tragic backstory that wastes a whole episode, he is also painfully cringe for anyone above the age of 14. The character with the most personality this season was unironically Gyokko. At least we can see something like his astronomical ego, his weird perversion, irony, his forward personality, over the top behavior, unlike our empty shell main characters, too bad his only purpose is to die so our characters can have spiritual awakening #33944, just like all villains in this series thus far.

So yeah, overall Demon Slayer is going downhill. It’s good only for the epic fights,amazing animation and the chilling design of the demons.

Don't judge a book by it's cover or half of the season. This show is not just disgusting waifu bait. Let me tell you why!

This is not an anime about an old man reincarnating as a girl so the series can sell better to minor attracted people, but a series where we learn about the inspiring story of a female squire which, because of something called sexual dimorphism, is weaker than the male squires and knights, but through perseverance, hard work and her unmatched perspicacity coupled with her sheer indefatigability manages to become the strongest by greatly improving her skill and technique, power that she ... then uses to make the world a better place and make everyone happy, definitely. This series was not made so morally bankrupt people can watch a 12-year old girl with a definitely realistic body talk about her chest and then time skip to a magic academy with predominantly underage female students with oversexualized bodies that wear as little clothing as possible. This show does not include minors groping each other while completely naked.

The main characters have a lot of personality and goals. The most interesting part about their very-existent personalities is that they are gluttonous because haha eat a lot of food funni laugh 2023 humor and our main girl also likes to fight because that trope isn't overdone to death and you wouldn't want a non meaningful and deep personality or goal anyway. The supporting cast is great as well! We have a Rani's older brother who is not a sister fucker from sweet home Alabama, a little fairy that doesn't like touching realistic big breasts of underage girls, a cat girl (or I think she was I don't remember) and a non one-dimensional character that is bad for the sake of being bad.

Another thing I love about this show is that it doesn't discriminate based on gender. The irredeemable bad guys aren't always the male characters while the good and righteous characters are only female. Male characters aren't generally portrayed as being evil while the female characters are generally portrayed as good, smart, talented and beautiful. Something I really appreciate is that at the knight academy the author makes sure makes sure that both male and female characters are portrayed as being roughly close in talent and skill and both receive the chance to show off what they are made of!

This is a very good show with a lot of depth and character I recommend you watch it asap!

Story: 6/10
The story of this ln starts as a generic isekai but honestly it kept getting better and better, but then it went downhill like a rollercoaster. I really enjoyed the fact that it tried to do things differently as in the mc was discarded as a hero for being too "ugly" and instead of becoming some cliche hero decided to find the origins of his parents who apparently come from that world. In the meantime, he also became a merchant since that was also one of his goals trouble still seemed to find him. My biggest problem with the story is that when something ... is not happening, IT’S BORING. For example, multiple chapters were completely wasted in my opinion, on a fucking orphanage. They kept talking about how they would redesign it and other unimportant stuff instead of actually moving story forward. Or there was another time where it was explained to us how they were going to build a hot spring in some snowy mountains. Wow thank you so much I couldn’t live without this information like I didn’t come here to read a moonlit fantasy or something stupid like that. Another problem is when the author finally makes the story continue, it doesn’t make sense.(MINOR SPOILER ALERT!) The part to which I am referring is when the city of Tsige was in danger of being attacked, so, a person from another country came to our mc and said: "hey, spend tens of chapters going to our country so you can look for some very specific people that can help you defend the city", so our mc who has thousands of soldiers stronger than lesser dragons that could be deployed at his command anywhere and anytime said: "yea sure I’ll spend tens of chapters in your country to search for some very specific people instead of solving the problem in 1 minute". Why did he have to go to that country? Because he needed to meet some "important" characters and because something terrible was happening in that country in that exact moment... wow.

Character: 2/10
Oh boy, the characters are not good. They are bland and one dimensional. The 3 servants of our mc kinda remind me of lesser versions of Meruem's 3 royal guards. Shiki is like Shaiapouf with the whole "EVERYTHING FOR THE KING" but without any aspect that made him interesting to watch or not forgettable, it’s like Shiki is only the skeleton of Pouf (get it cause he is a lich) without any kind of personality or distinctive traits. Mio reminds me of Youpi with the "I am a shield" mentality, but since she is a one dimensional character, she doesn't develop like Youpi does. Mio remains a lifeless shield without a personality that learned to cook. Tomoe's similar aspect to Neferpitou is the way they both want to prioritize the master's wishes. But unlike Pitou who gets a lot of character development in the span of a couple of months, Tomoe has always been perfect. Since she is a superior dragon she is extremely wise and intelligent. A cool lady who never makes mistakes and always has good ideas to help her dumbass master with every matter. Tomoe's only "unique" trait is that she loves japanese culture (especially samurai dramas) and wants to implement it in the place where they live. Also, I really loved the interactions between those 3. Like how Mio and Tomoe were very competitive with each other, or how those 2 bullied Shiki when he just started as a servant. Unfortunately those interactions slowly disappeared never to be seen again. Now, let's talk about our big strong boi isekai protagonist Makoto. He is worthless. Honestly, this is the only way I can describe him. He is just an average overpowered isekai protagonist with no personality, that is a magnet for women but obviously he is dense and probably has an allergy to them. He is extremely boring and uninteresting, his only wish being to be a merchant even though he is too gutless and naive to be one. Therefore, he leaves absolutely everything to his servants and doesn't do anything except fight once every 100 chapters or get scared by a normal human as an op isekai protagonist who compared to that human is literally a fucking god. Truly worthless. He kind of reminds me of Meruem before he was even born, just a literal embryo.
As for the supporting cast, they are completely irrelevant, it's like if they never existed nothing would change. We have a ton of support characters, but they are all one dimensional, uninteresting, bland and totally forgettable. Okay, maybe not Eris because she is weird. For real, this is the most interesting character in the whole supporting cast. A weird loli. That's it. Other than that, we have the cliche "perfect student queen" Hibiki senpai, the "what the fuck is this character from a fat otaku loser's hentai harem fantasy where women are treated like garbage doing in this story since his presence doesn't accomplish anything even though he is supposed to be a hero aka an important character and gets wasted time on him?" Tomoki and the “cool crazy sexy dragon girl but not quite” Sofia. Oh there is also that character Lime Latte whose “unique” trait is that his name is gross (and it is).

Enjoyment: 4/10
As I have mentioned in story category, I really enjoyed the light novel in the beginning, but it got more and more boring for me as I got deeper into the story.

Overall: 4/10
Honestly this could have been so much better especially with a promising start, but unfortunately it gets bad.
