[Very shocking intensity of the first episode leads to hilarious enlightenment as she lives her second life in the rest of the episodes. —10/10]
Tearmoon Empire is a story of second chance. The plot is centered towards Princess Mia's new life as she got enlightenment from her previous devastating life. The first episode was so shockingly intense, but not to worry! The rest of the episodes are truly what Tearmoon Empire is all about — just a girl giving everyone second chances as she was given one herself! It is a story about learning, about opening possibilities, and choosing love (although the anime depicted Princess Mia's
...
motivations as purely selfish and survival-based). However, all this heartwarming qualities are all so packed with comedy, comedy, and comedy!
I just can't stop saying it — this anime is SO funny and it's precisely my kind of humor! It's family-friendly, yet the directions of the humor are SO original and creative. Even with so much comedy, they managed to balance it with conflicts, politics, and romance to the point that everything is just the right amount.
The graphics are pleasant, the music are wonderful, and the sound effects are hilarious. Literally a comedy show at this point.
Perfectly made romance-comedy-fantasy anime. 10/10

[Having been a huge fan of isekai, fantasy, an OP MC type of anime — this anime is definitely coming out on top! A light and happy anime with non-complex yet profound conflicts, all masked with silliness and love, definitely one-of-a-kind. — 10/10]
Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town? is already a silly title, so expect lots of silliness! Silly is the perfect word to describe the amount of comedy in this anime, which is one of its features that stands out the most. It's lighthearted with comedy all over the plot yet not to the point that it
...
deserves to be considered a parody because there are adequate serious moments as well. Nevertheless, to watch an anime with such a title while expecting an anime with complex conflict, 12-episode-journey that has to follow strict standards of intro-conflict-resolution, etc. would be insane, and to review the anime badly because it's silly when it's meant to be silly thus should be appreciated for fulfilling its goals? should be a crime.
The first episode was a perfect introduction to the anime to the point that having finished the first episode, I knew I'd rate this anime 10/10. From then on, it's exactly as it's introduced. In short, the plot is about a kid's struggle to resolve his inner demons as he innocently helps everyone and saves the nation. That very same innocence and kindness brings him a lot of love from everyone around him in all kinds of forms, to the point that it even the conflict arises from that very same thing. Each character showcases different experiences one would have with our lovely MC, but not only that, this anime brilliantly managed to tell the stories and struggles of (pretty much) all of those characters, making us fall in love with every single character eventually.
The world building is quite interesting. However, instead of explicitly explaining what is the world that the characters are in, they do it through each characters' stories, and I think it's a nice take on it. Sure, we end up not knowing too much of the world, but enough to understand the characters' sentiments, and that's wonderful for a 12 episode anime.
More about comedy and seriousness - perhaps things can be considered choppy and can give an impression of "suddenly this, suddenly that" but personally, I did not lose track of the plot even though all the fun comedy existed and I did not dwell too much on the intensity of the scene though all the serious conflicts existed. The balance of the two tips towards comedy, but I assure you, as long as you enjoy some silliness, you won't find yourself struggling to enjoy the plot beyond that comedy. The conflicts are very, very light, but they're conflicts, alright. Trickery, ambition, jealousy, boredom — the core of the conflicts still can be felt and understood even when it's packed in a silly way, and with this perspective, the story is definitely well-written.
The graphics are wonderful, the colors are vibrant and bright. The voice acting and the music are nice and enjoyable. Overall, the production quality itself is enjoyable.
For what it's going for, it's done a perfect job. A nice, light watch full of love and happiness that will entertain and will not bore. 10/10

[Literally everything at once! Impeccable action with intense thrill and emotional desperation, Rated R extremely, EXTREMELY hilarious comedy, and... steamy romance? Such chaotic energy, but with wonderful delivery- one of the best 3 first episodes among all genre of anime that I've ever watched for sure! 10/10]
Bang Brave Bang Bravern is looking up to be one of the most iconic anime of all time, for sure. From every aspect possible, it is so well-made, despite having so much potential still.
Among all of its qualities, what stands out to me the most is the drawing, for sure! The expressions, the shading, everything sets up the mood
...
for each scenes SO well that viewers can't help but get invested in the story and in everything that's going on. It's the base of the intense emotions that I felt while watching these first episodes. Ambition, sadness, desperation, confusion, shock, trauma, relaxedness, ease, even just smug- they're only among the emotions that are conveyed SO well making viewers truly fall deep down into its world and its story! Oh, and the characters are sexily well-drawn, if that's what you're into...
Built upon said fantastic foundation is of course the storyline with just the perfect amount of dynamics and jumps between different moods (and genre even, I'd say) cultivating such wonderful balance that persists throughout the episodes. The worldbuilding seems awesome, but since it's still only the first 3 episodes, not much is elaborated or explained, only enough for a human to take in as they are.. attacked, as the synopsis says, and it is definitely adequate. Relating to that, the flow of the story truly makes a lot of sense realistically (in the standard of fictional anime, of course) and it just describes how on fire the writing is so far.
The characters also *seem* like they all have unique personalities and backgrounds but this aspect is what I'd consider the biggest 'potential' that this anime has yet to fulfill. They aren't delved deep enough yet, but we'll see how they're done in future episodes, and according to that, it could be the anime's biggest weakness or it can ascend the quality further.
More about the visual and the graphics, it's top notch, honestly, with beautiful non-action scenes and VERY dynamic action scenes. The detail is no joke, and I assure you there is no scene that gets let down so far. The background, the people, the robots, the weapons, the attacks, and, I have said this in previous paragraphs, the facial expressions, the body language- everything's SO well drawn.
In conclusion, there is no reason to not give this show a chance and to not invest your whole being into the story because it does not disappoint (so far). I sure am looking forward for the next episodes!

[Regress of writing quality compared to the Season 1 where a lot of the plot is gone, ignored, or jumped across, and is all the worse because of the complexity it set in the first place. Regardless, still very much a decent watch that finishes the story nicely and beautifully. 7/10]
It is disappointing that it can not continue its ambition in writing which seems as if it was promised as we've seen in Season 1, where all the characters were full of personalities, motivations, inspirations, souls; yet in Season 2 a lot of characters lost their character, a lot of actions were without clear aspirations,
...
and a lot of the plot felt forced or rushed. There were also a lot of unnecessary superficial scenes, as if they're there just to give some random action or friendship touch to the story, with very questionable resolutions. Nevertheless, scenes that are profound, delicate, and meaningful still exists, here and there, which is all the more precious because of these other less precious scenes.
Luckily, these precious scenes include the ending scene. In a lot of ways happy, yet still realistic, yet full of inspirations and life, so it is definitely worthy to be watched until the end.
The music, sfx, and vfx is still high quality as expected, with lots of visual treats especially towards the ending. Very beautiful scenes, as beautiful as the moment it is on.
Whether it was right or wrong, what I've done cannot be taken back. Even if there's nothing to gain, I have to move forward. -?

Reviewing as someone who has never watched mecha animes before, let alone the Gundam universe:
[Unique, complex, yet fathomable storyline and world-building, characters with all unique personalities and backgrounds which are dived into, and main characters full of 'girlbosses' - inspirational yet humane. All comes together with top notch production and quality as an anime in general (again, not comparing with other mecha animes because I have not watched any other) with fantastic music, sfx, and vfx. 9/10]
As a fantasy genre enjoyer, all I can say is Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury's world is totally unique and original, yet so complex which is why
...
from its world-building alone, it deserves to be watched by whoever you are. Such well written lore not only for the world and settings itself, but also for each and every single character. There's no character that is an extra, in some ways, because even 'extras' are so well-portrayed that each of their single lines are so vital in whatever scene there is.
The fact that they also dive into the background, the motivation, the mindset - the soul of all the main/lead characters is also such a fine work. Although, this is also where Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury's imperfections lies. Maybe it's because the complexity of the world itself, that a lot of the character's backgrounds which are dived into and their personalities which are definitive and solid - seems unfinished, or have quite some loose ends. Nevertheless, unless you are SO into one of the characters that fall victim into this imperfection, you should be able to still enjoy all there is to their stories, their souls, as they're so well-written nevertheless.
Its plot itself is quite light yet casually brutal, and this is what makes Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury stand out from others. This kind of condition makes the anime all the more realistic, because that is life - it may be quiet but the next second can be a storm. But of course, that is to say if you accept such extreme twists in the direction of an anime, which might be a minus if you don't. However, all the twist and turns of the story is essential and is well-written, so do open your heart for them and enjoy the rollercoaster. It still contributes to me taking a point from my score for the anime, though, because I believe a nice mixture of lightness and seriousness/brutality is very much possible to be achieved in a more balanced way, maybe even in each of the episodes (which I've seen possible in k-dramas which often is romance-comedy yet also action/thriller at the same time) which the dynamic of the plot in this anime... is quite far from that. But like I said, open your heart and enjoy.
The production and quality is what I'd expect from such a big franchise, which is very high in quality and detail. I mean, it's all the craze in the model kit building community with all the unique mechanics and stuff, or so I've heard. Therefore, there's nothing to comment on, other than emphasizing how well-made it is. All the visuals, the sound effects, the music - perfection.
In conclusion, definitely a must-watch for fantasy anime enjoyers (even if you've never watched [or enjoyed] mecha animes before!). Unique and inspiring, a wonderful commercial creation.

[An isekai anime of the OP MC trope with quite an original storyline yet with lots of clichés of its genre, rather slow yet still enjoyable pacing, less elaborated yet simple writing/world-building/character-building, and minimum yet enough-to-keep-you-curious conflict/dynamic. Decent quality, an enjoyable light watch. 8/10]
The overall story is an original, novel, and refreshing touch of the overpopulated genre which is isekai, but still with so many clichés of the genre nevertheless. It tells a story of a salaryman reborn as a young healer, which unexpectedly is rare in this new world. What sets him apart (and what makes the world consider him as 'odd', told in
...
comedic ways) is that he has motivations/mindset that is selfish yet pure. With that, he easily earns the trust of many people and with that, he's able to spread kindness wherever he goes, changing the society and, later, the world for the better.
Like anime of its genre and trope, there are still clichés such as harem and luck, but what makes this anime better than most "trash isekai" anime out there is that these clichés are only adequately placed. There's harem yet there's no perverse, and the romance is decently organic. Luck is mentioned repeatedly, but logically, a lot of what he calls luck is deservingly obtained through hard work and kindness. So although clichés exist, this anime does not drown in it and is creative in its approach.
The biggest weakness of this anime is the lack of elaboration. It's full of hints of such a complex world with such complex characters, but none of the two is adequately elaborated to the point that if it was written more seriously and on a higher scale of production with higher quality, it definitely could've been one of the best isekai out there. Regarding the pace, it's slow and patient which in some ways is for elaboration, but somehow still does not provide enough. It's at a pace that's somewhat enjoyable purely because it feels necessary for the plot to get any elaboration at all, if any.
There's no laziness in animation nor sound effects, but they're nothing special. It's exactly what I'd describe as "decent quality".
In conclusion, it is not at all the best nor even one of the best isekai/fantasy anime out there with lots of clichés. However, it's an enjoyable, refreshing light watch if you enjoy watching OP MC tropes of the genre as it's one of the better "trash isekai" out there, and is a decent, original anime to watch in general.

[Casual and cute yet full of action and intriguing world-building; light yet with decent, adequate plot and conflicts. A nice, wholesome fantasy watch. 9/10]
After having completed it and coming back to see how there are more 'not recommended' than 'recommended', I definitely feel compelled to recommend it to future watchers!
Beast Tamer has a unique and fresh storyline and worldbuilding although its world is not explored, explained, nor elaborated much. Nevertheless, it's definitely up there as one of the best OP MC-kind of fantasy anime cliche. Sure, it still very much follows the template of OP MC animes, but the back story, the struggle, the social
...
trauma, the different backgrounds and personalities of each characters - they're all quite fresh and enjoyable, not boring in the slightest.
Even though he has a harem, there's almost no oversexualization in sight (except this one scene that I'm sure was put in as a casual fan service, yet since it's only one scene, I consider it not 'over') which is what I much prefer and am comfortable with than those who are clearly sexualizing the characters. Yes, even though the anime is about taming cute, pretty, and even 'sexy' female "beasts", it's NOT focused on SEXUALizations AT ALL! So do not get the wrong assumptions before even watching the anime!
One of the best feature of Beast Tamer's writing is the PACING! The pacing is one of the best out of all OP MC trope that I've watched - it's just right! We get to really feel like we're journeying alongside the MC. It might be a bit faster in the end, but it's understandable since.. it's nearing the end and they have to close the anime, but it's not that obvious nor that big of a problem. Simply wonderful, enjoyable pacing.
However, like I said before, perhaps it's because the worldbuilding lacks adequate elaborations, I feel like we could've been much more mesmerized by the world than what it currently provides. Because of that, I think the plot is great, enjoyable, and definitely marathon-able, but not in anyway out of the world special or anything.
Decent, adequate quality with cool action scenes and visually appealing yet unique characters. Quite well done, but nothing too special or notable.
All in all, a 9/10 for me as a nice, wholesome fantasy watch.~

[Fantastic world building with lots of plot twists. Quite fast-paced yet doesn't feel lacking. Multiple dramas and conflicts that are entertaining with pleasing, happy endings. 10/10]
Sure, this anime belongs to the OP MC trope, but the writing is very unique. The characters, the personalities, the back stories, the pacing, the animation, the world building, the spells - everything was so well done.
Despite being OP, it is very obvious that the MC is not omnipotent, and I love that so much because the fights are so enjoyable nevertheless (even though we have faith that the MC will always win one way or another). Just like a
...
well made drama dynamic, all the fights have their unique beginnings, adequate and reasonable motivations, enough struggles, and even desperation until the fight ends.
Regarding the MC and his whole character, my impression is that the MC is a nicely reconstructed image of a kind God. He never fails to show how kind, nurturing, and loving he is in every single fight that it's as if looking at a kind God going out of their way to save people, one at a time - something so hopeful and beautiful.
The quality is adequate as well. Nothing obviously lacking, all enjoyable from the graphics to the sound effects. The action scenes are very much active and engaging as well, truly well-done. 10/10.
All the plot goodness and the high quality makes sense seeing that it's produced by Silver Link - the same studio that produced Bofuri and Vilainness. Keep bringing goodness to the anime world, Silver Link.~

[A peaceful, wholesome piece that is both adventurous and simple. Great graphics, nicely-paced and well-written plot. 10/10]
The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent is definitely a must-watch for all anime lovers, especially those who enjoy peacefulness and wholesomeness. It uses the OP isekai MC trope, yet is so unique and well-made in its delivery. Even though the MC gets more and more powerful each episode, nothing is sudden. However, unlike other isekai that showcases MC's progress through fights, struggles, losses, etc., we're able to peacefully enjoy the MC's progress as she behaves like she would in her own world through her adventurousness and diligence.
There are 3
...
points which showcases its uniqueness: A kind grown woman as an MC that tries to always stay positive while knowing and doing what she wants, a well-written super cute romance story, and a nation full of good people. However, some weaknesses are such as the regressing graphics as the episodes go through and the input of some side-stories which importance is questionable. These weaknesses are not as significant in my standard as I enjoyed them nevertheless until the end.
Don't hesitate, go watch it now!~

[A a very well-made friendship anime that showcases the goodness of the human heart through distinct, touching stories with adequate comedic breaks. 10/10]
I've always loved the 'friendship' genre, and Angel Beats delivered perfectly that. Their relationship is always entertaining yet heartwarming — comedic yet touching, and I find peace in watching that. Other than that, I also love how they showcased selflessness, kindness, acceptance, forgiveness, open-mind, and, just, all the good things humans have to offer. I feel like the way they showcased them throughout the stories is this anime's main originality and is what makes this anime superior.
The graphics and the animations are quite
...
enjoyable. The characters are very distinct and memorable. The world building is definitely unique, yet still remains mysterious until the end.
Don't hesitate, go watch it now!
