This film goes into on the topics that I've been desperately looking for; what does the weight of the human life have on someone who is nearly immortal.
Seeing how Maquia dealt with the varying stages of human progression was amazing and I felt it was well portrayed. Oddly reminds me of my favorite internet reading material, 177013.
Watching this show has me feeling extremely mixed about the entirety of the material. The premise of the it has potential to lead up to something that I would find enjoyable, however, it does fall short throughout when it really mattered. Seeing how the characters of the show have to come to terms years later after the death of a friend is incredibly real in that aspect. People will spend their entire lives running from the consequences of their actions much in the same way that the Super Peace Busters did. It is only after facing your past can you begin to move forward and while it's upsetting to see the world around you continue ... |
