Gintama: The Semi Final continues the story just at the bridge scene where Gintoki meets Shinpachi. It was more like the calm before the storm as these episodes provide very little to no progress in the plot. So if you want to experience the same old journey of Gintoki and the others, you have come to the right place.
Both the episodes cover different stories, and both are just filled with humour. While one shows the "So-called" reunion of the Yorozuya, the other one shows epic adventure of Kondo Isao of how he deals with his marriage. The ending message was really painful for any Gintama
...
fan as we all know what that was.
The Opening was 'I Wanna Be...' by SPYAIR, the same that was used in the Second half of Shirogane no Tamashii-hen - Kouhan-sen and Ending was 'Wadachi' yet again by SPYAIR, the one that was used in The Final Movie. Though nothing new was created for this Special, I still don't mind getting that nostalgic feeling I had and getting hyped for the Final Movie
Yet again, it was really refreshing to see the cast and the adventure again like old times. It just felt like I have been reunited with my old friend, though its really painful to see them go away after this. Both of these episodes will just remind you the bond Yorozuya has and how much Kondo cares about his friends and Shinsengumi. It also explained what motives do the character have and what and why things have changed and how important Gintoki is to each one of them.
This was the end and I didn't find anything to not like about it, though there was one problem that this was just 2 episodes, wish it could be longer. Gintama is an Anime that continued for 15years and has finally ended. I don't think I am the only one who doesn't want it to end. Well as the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end."
Gintama is a show that has made me laugh, made me cry and as I said had characters who were like a friend to me. Both of these episodes made me excited for the Final Movie and I am sure it will be one of the Greatest Films I have ever watched.
I give this Special an 8.5/10 or more like a 9/10

*This review Covers the Third Season of Bakuman and Spoilers are included
The Final Season of Bakuman finishes the Story with finally fulfilling the Dreams of Mashiro Moritaka and Takagi Akito. Though in my opinion I found Season 2 much appealing but that doesn’t mean this season was bad at all.
Story: 7.5/10
The Story in this Season wasn’t bad but not much appealing. The first half of the series came with story arcs that started off strongly but ended in a generic way. But the Second half was much better as the Rivalry between Ashirogi Muto (Mashiro and Takagi) and Niizuma Eiji was shown perfectly. And the
...
Azuki Miho Arc at the end was good as well. So, the Story was kind of straight forward in Season 3 but good in its own way.
Art & Animation: 7/10
Nothing’s changed oh nothing’s changed. And I don’t know what will even change in this one. At the very least I can say that the Art of the Artists was improving. The animation was the same as it was in the previous season, good.
Sound: 7.5/10
The soundtrack of the series was again same for the most of the part. The Openings and Endings were not as good as Season 1 & 2 but still were good in their own way. This time we got two openings in one season and I liked the Second Opening more than the first one in this Season.
Character: 9/10
I have said this many times that Bakuman has great characters. And this is the part where they are on their maximum development. This Season showed how they started and how far they have reached now, and no matter how far they have come they still have to keep moving. Especially the Part where Niizuma Eiji declared for ending his Manga was shown nicely. Though I think there was no need of bringing new characters in the series even if they gave them nice development as the new characters didn’t have that big of an impact. Still the characters were great as always.
Enjoyment: 8/10
The Final Season was enjoyable to the very end. This Season focused on Mashiro’s and Azuki’s dream to finally getting fulfilled and their journey to creating a great Manga comes to an end. Especially the second half was a lot enjoyable compared to the first half where just normal arcs were going on.
Overall: 8/10
This Season was again an 8/10. So Overall the whole Anime combined was an 8/10. Bakuman did a nice job for inspiring other towards their goal and that’s the reason it is so great. This review was not as long as my other reviews on this series were because I don’t want to keep repeating why this Anime is good and I just talked about how I felt for this season.

*This review covers Season 2 with Minor Spoilers of Season 1 & 2
After getting their First Serialization in Shounen Jack, both Mashiro Moritaka and Takagi Akito were excited to continue their work with their Editor Hattori Akira until they found about their editor change. The Second Season of Bakuman continues the Story of Mashiro and Takagi and their struggle to continue their Serialized Manga.
Story: 8.5
It’s hard to see Sequel these days continue with the same pace without declining its quality from the Prequel. But in terms of Bakuman, I would just say the Story got even better. After Mashiro and Takagi’s editor got changed, it
...
was quite hard for them to understand each other as their editor was new and inexperienced and they were even more inexperienced. Which brought clashes between them quite often, and how they overcome this and progress to move forward is shown in this season. This Season was not just focused on the Protagonist but even showed the stories of other Mangakas which were also great. And the Romance between Mashiro and Azuki also got a better development as in the first season it got cringey at some points. This Season had a better Story than its previous season.
Art & Animation: 7
Not much change, Animation was just the same as the First Season, pretty good. Same goes for the Art but again, which Art are we talking about? Because all of them are awesome. So, I won’t talk much about art as I don’t want to waste your time and let’s move on to next one.
Sound: 7.5
Just the same as Art & Animation, nothing much has changed here either. The soundtrack is most likely the same, the new Opening was great and better than the first season, but I like both the ending of the first season. So yeah, pretty much the same.
Characters: 9
Bakuman has always been great because of the characters. And this Season was flowing off with Character Development, almost every character got some sort of Development whether that was positive or negative.
Mashiro Moritaka: Unlike Season 1, Mashiro was much more mature in this Season. He didn’t take decisions selfishly and gave a better thought on most of them. That doesn’t mean he was completely changed; he was acting childishly at some points but was a lot mature here.
Takagi Akito: His Personality may seem just like the First Season; he still got his development and his romance with Miyoshi Kaya gets a lot stronger in this Season. And his Stories and plot got even better.
Miura Gorou: The new editor of Mashiro and Takagi, he started off as someone who only cared about Mangaka’s Manga getting serialized to someone who understood that Manga should not be just fine it should be good and interesting.
Hiramaru Kazuya: Probably the funniest character throughout the series. He makes the show really likable and never fails to bring a smile on the viewer’s face just like Niizuma Eiji.
Aoki Yuriko: She seemed just another cold-hearted girl at the beginning of the show but she got the most character development throughout the series and became really likable and my favourite girl in this series.
Enjoyment: 8.5
Bakuman Season 2 continued with the same pace but this time it was a much more enjoyable experience. This season progressed with Mashiro getting closer to fulfilling his dream and getting an Anime adaptation for his manga.
Overall: 8
Though the score of both the Seasons are Same, I liked this season more than the previous which you guys would have figured out till now. There are much more inspirational moments in this season and much more funnier moments in this season as well.
Just watch this show if you haven’t already

*This review Only covers Season 1 with Minor Spoilers
After having the Thriller Experience of Death Note, I think most people want to see more of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s work and when they come across Bakuman, they get a totally different yet a lot enjoyable experience in the series.
The Title Bakuman doesn’t have an actual revealed meaning, but after watching the Series it comes out as ‘Bakuchi Manga’ (Gambling Manga). And how the Story tells how most of the Mangaka are just Gamblers. And that just shows how much Motivational and Inspirational this show is. And how this Whole Anime helps others to Achieve
...
their Dreams.
Story: 8
The Story revolves Around Our Protagonists Mashiro Moritaka and Takagi Akito. The series show one of the greatest friendships and that is between Mashiro and Takagi and as you keep going you will find the bond between them getting stronger. Though romance is not the strongest part of the series, there are still a lot of romantic moments with between Mashiro and his Crush Azuki Miho whom he asked for Marriage once their dream comes true. Throughout the story you will witness some really motivational moments and some really funny ones too. This season mostly focuses on how both Mashiro and Takagi try their hardest to get their Manga serialized. Also, the different stories each Mangaka creates are really good. The Story is really Good.
Art & Animation: 7
Animation is not really important for shows like Bakuman but still it’s really well done and I like it. For Art, then which one are we talking about as both Mangakas Art and Story’s Art are done pretty well. Art really matches with the characters and there are a lot of beautiful moments because of it.
Sound: 7.5
I really liked the music of the Series, especially the Openings and Endings are really good, the soundtrack is also pretty catchy. The Voice Acting is good as that actually makes things really emotional sometimes. Especially Okamoto Nobuhiko the Voice Actor of Niizuma Eiji as he made him really funny.
Characters: 9
That’s the strongest Point of the whole series, I didn’t find any character that was just one dimensional (except some minor ones) and each character had their development. And though there are times when character act a lot immaturely but that’s how they will develop into a better one.
Mashiro Moritaka: The Protagonist of the series. He is the one who acts a lot immaturely but again, that’s the part of his Character Development and throughout the series as he grows, he receives a lot of it. He is the one who inspires others the most.
Takagi Akito: The Deuteragonist of the series and My Favourite one throughout the series. Takagi acts much more maturely and is really a lot funnier in the series. He is really a great friend to Mashiro as he accepts every decision made by him and can’t tolerate if someone insults Mashiro’s Art. Everyone needs a friend like him.
Niizuma Eiji: He is the main rival of Mashiro and Takagi throughout the series. A Manga Genius who also one of the funniest and cutest character in the Series. His development after meeting other Mangaka in the series was really done well in the series.
Enjoyment: 8.5
I really enjoyed Bakuman, it was really Inspiring and Motivating where the characters actually work hard to achieve their dream and not just talk. It has different types of emotion and you’ll definitely enjoy all of them.
Overall: 8
I’ll give this Anime 8/10. This is not the any Masterpiece or Philosophical show that will completely change your life but it will help you to achieve what you want. And not only if you want to be Mangaka, it will inspire you for ‘Your Dream’. It made me laugh and emotional at some points with an Inspiring Story. Overall, it’s a really Good Anime that you should watch.
