Tl;dr at the bottom
2019 has been a year of its ups and downs for the anime community. One of the downsides has been the excessive amount of poorly written isekai shows. A lot of the shows that end up failing either try to replicate what Sword Art Online did (bad idea), or they try to make up a little gimmick that gives people a reason to watch as it’s something different. Generally what we consider good isekai are those that are able to use their gimmick successfully or give us an actually interesting story while still using the typical isekai set up of a fantasy

story. Comedy in anime is yet another problem with the current status of the medium as a lot of comedies in anime can be seen as unfunny. A lot of humor feels forced and doesn’t really contribute to the show. However, there are quite a few shows that have good comedy and have made me and many others laugh or at least give a smile. Cautious Hero has two points for being a good isekai and a pretty good comedy as well. I did not laugh out loud at any of the jokes as far as I can remember, but for the most part, I gave a smile as the jokes landed pretty good and felt like actually funny jokes. I give huge props to Cautious Hero for doing this already, but for being an isekai that i feel has actually been good, it has become one of the better “another world” stories this decade. Thanks to interesting characters that you don’t get tired of seeing and a plot that, while simple, keeps interest and provided us with low amounts of bullshit. However, this show isn’t without issue. There are a couple of times where I feel like humor is unnecessary as it ruins the tension. And sometimes, I do feel like I’m seeing one too many a trope. However, those don’t make the show bad as it’s overall a nicely written isekai that isn’t too special, but is still quite good despite being part of an oversaturated genre.
Tl;dr: Cautious Hero is good and is for anyone who likes comedy and short yet fun fantasy adventures.

I really need to stop saying okay at the beginning of all my reviews.
So, we've managed to finally get it after 2 years of waiting since the end of Diamond is Unbreakable. This show has some of the most exciting action and most heart pounding stuff that I've ever seen.
When it comes down to it, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is, as its name suggests, pretty bizarre. However, the quality of the show doesn't decrease because of it. The genius of Araki Hirohiko has made the show and series as a whole into a near masterpiece with very few mistakes in the later parts of

the story. Golden Wind had an interesting manga to say the least making for one of the most separated communities in the Jojo fandom as all of them are confused as to whether it's good or not. However, from the new addition of the anime, it fixes most of the problems with boring fights or simply just uninteresting plot devices and makes for a fun show that makes you excited as heck when the biggest plot points hit you. I tend to see lots of mediocre stories, especially in the shounen category. There are some shows that don't really use the full potential of the idea and it brings the entire series down into shit. However, Jojo uses masterful pacing with an interesting story to accompany it without forgetting to have good characters and nice aesthetics that fit the show. In terms of anime, this is one of my favorites and I hope to see more interesting stuff from Araki as he prepares to end Part 8 and thinks of ideas for Part 9.

Okay, so I'm coming back to this show which is commonly praised as one of, if not, the best anime of all time. Now, we have to consider these many different things that make this anime what it was. This show may start off slow, but gradually hikes up the pace making it big on the anime scene, especially since it had another adaptation before. As this is my second review, take this with a grain of salt.
Story-10: As a piece of Shounen trash, I decided to watch this show. Why? I don't know. I at first thought that it would just be FMA with
...
slight changes. What was actually changed caught me by surprise and made me more intrigued. Of course there are moments where you first think, wow, this is just not as great as I would expect it to. And you're right, but this show always picks up the pace and makes it interesting when it matters. It seems that this show is always trying to hype up some piping hot action. This would seem worthless and stupid, yet this show manages to bring some of the strongest plot points in the anime world. Thus, a 10 would suffice in my book.
Art-8: Now, to the art in this show. The art is spectacular, when the animation team is actually working hard. Sometimes the team tends to either save their budget for later, which is much more commendable, or they're just being lazy. The show has some amazing art and shows how deep the plot points are meant to go. It makes great use of some art, though some points make me feel like I'm watching a kids show. Overall, the show has great art, it's just the occasional bad art that prevents me from making this go any higher.
Sound-9: The sound in this anime is one of those soundtracks that make you endorsed in the show. It makes you feel the emotion the crew wants you to feel. Sound is very important, and this show clearly recognizes it. It makes great use of its abundant equipment and makes it so that the viewers can connect with the characters and keep interest. I would give this a 9 for those following reasons.
Character-9: If you've watched the show, you will either disagree or agree. This is coming from a guy who thinks that they have good personality. Sometimes the characters do things that just seem out of the ordinary and don't tend to make the cut for me. However, their backstory has an extremely heavy point in the show, and though this might not be convincing to other people, to me, this is something that would be important for this show, as it brings the plot into perspective and allows full endorsement. That's a 9 in my book.
Enjoyment-10: What I care most about, is my enjoyment. I'm just gonna say that I enjoyed very thoroughly. 10 outta 10.
Overall-10: Now, I personally think that this show lives up to its name, but if you have a different opinion, it's fine. This show to me, brings out the greatness of what anime can be, and I hope to see things like this in the future.

Okay. This is my first review. So be easy.
I've seen Romantic Comedies before. (Not just anime, yes I watch live action) And out of all of them, this just might be my favorite.
Story-9: This show gave me a very big variety of feelings. The first couple of episodes were good enough and it would have landed it at a solid 7, but it later picks up the pace, and makes you curious what development happens next. I had this on hold for a while because I didn't see so much potential in the show. The story is great for the remainder of the series,
...
although the ending is a bit quick, it ends with my interest still intact.
Art-8: Not too much to say as the art is pretty good, although at some points, it can be considered below standards, the animation isn't bad. Though this isn't such a huge factor, it still was good for the most part.
Sound-8: The OST of this show has feeling and shows the struggle between characters. The moments when the soundtrack comes in at the right moment just blows me away and makes me feel how emotional or romantic this moment is.
Character-9: Now this is one of the points in the show that give it it's praise. The characters in this show are very enjoyable, and have personality. It isn't a huge cast so the characters can flesh out. The chemistry between them is also pretty great. When it comes to the best character, I'm gonna go unoriginal here and just say Taiga. She is easily shown as a tough person with troubles. She also has a great personality that is likeable. The rest of the characters, though I won't go into detail, are also great and give me enjoyment.
Enjoyment-10: I'm not exaggerating here. I genuinely enjoyed the show this much. The mixture of these things just factor into a great show and I felt good watching this as it was something that just made me excited whenever I got to watch another episode. And if I enjoyed it, then I enjoyed it. It just happened to give me full attention and I stuck with it.
Overall-9: In all fairness, this show is great and deserves this high of a rating. Maybe even higher. This show felt like a romcom done right, and it deserves praise for being like that.
