Although at first glance 91 Days and Psycho-Pass might appear fairly different, they are quite similar in many ways. Both anime deal with more serious themes such as revenge, death, etc. Both anime tackle questions of what justice and criminality are in their respective worlds. Both anime involve a protagonist with violent tendencies who is accompanied by a more pacifistic character.

Both characters are reincarnated into a fantasy world as monsters. They have unique skills that enable them to gain strength quickly. The protagonists are different than the traditional isekai protagonists with one having no gender and the other being female.

Both shows have a similar type of humour which tends to be happy-go-lucky with some dark humour thrown in. Despite their humourous nature, both shows have moments of seriousness, and certain characters have unexpected (and dark) pasts.

Both stories involve protagonists that should be weak (villager/goblin) but have become overpowered by maxing out their levels. In both stories, the characters show that they are stronger than the "heroes" of their worlds.

The protagonists are reincarnated into a fantasy world as a monster. Each story focuses heavily on the characters leveling up, and the respective powers that the characters gain in different evolutionary stages. Both characters are able to choose which evolutionary path they will take.

The mangas involve a strong female protagonist who wakes up in the body of an otome game villian. They each have a following of loyal friends and are concerned with avoiding the tragic ending that their respective characters faced in the otome game.
