I watched this anime despite finding it very boring, following a recommendation from MyAnimeList. However, it bears no resemblance to Houseki no Kuni as some people suggest there. While the world and mystery of the anime have potential, the story and character development don't do it justice. The plot fails to keep you engaged, with interesting storylines being abandoned abruptly. The pacing is uneven, leading to many minutes or even entire episodes that feel unnecessary and contribute nothing to the overall narrative.

Moreover, the main characters are poorly developed. Half of them are outright unbearable, making it difficult to form any connection or empathy. You'll be ... lucky if you can empathize with even one character at times, as their motivations and actions often lack depth and consistency.

The execution of the story is another major flaw. Despite having an intriguing premise, the anime does not know how to maintain tension or build on its initial mystery. Instead, it meanders through irrelevant subplots and scenes that do not advance the story or enrich the world. This lack of focus makes the viewing experience frustrating and tedious.

Overall, this anime is completely overrated. It does not live up to the expectations set by its initial promise or the comparisons to more compelling series like Houseki no Kuni. The potential for a great story is there, but it is squandered by poor execution, unengaging characters, and a narrative that fails to captivate.

I began watching this music anime with high expectations, attracted by its promising premise and its focus on the characters' growth through their passion for music. The first few episodes captivated me with their vibrant animation, catchy soundtrack, and developing relationships between the main characters. The story seemed to be heading towards a moving and uplifting narrative, focused on the challenges and triumphs faced by young musicians.

However, my enthusiasm was dashed when, in an unexpected twist, the series introduced a yuri element that not only felt forced, but also diverted attention from the main theme: the music. This change in plot direction not only felt ... abrupt, but also unnecessary and out of place, considering the tone and initial focus of the anime.

The inclusion of yuri seemed more like an attempt to appeal to a specific audience than a natural evolution of the story or characters. Instead of enriching the plot, it ended up diluting the emotional impact that the musical moments and personal challenges had built up to that point. The interactions between the characters, which were previously authentic and focused on their musical growth, became superficial and focused on romantic drama, moving away from the original spirit of the anime.

Additionally, this change in direction overshadowed the interesting subplots and personal struggles of the supporting characters, who deserved more development and screen time. The series missed an opportunity to explore deeper, more resonant themes related to music, friendship, and self-discovery.

I can recommend the anime but deep down the anime was already ruined for me at the Yuri moment

Ragna Crimson is another anime that features a common edgy protagonist, an unfunny dwarf companion. Also, the focus on how to kill dragons with silver is really bad. The protagonist's fight in his edgy mode and the way the dragons are defeated lack emotion. Although the first episode lasts more than 40 minutes, it fails to capture attention, unless your preferences are aligned with the younger audience, around 12 years old.

It is a completely repetitive story, the score it has and the comments that you could see on the pages where you watch anime are written only by children because they are just excessive overvaluations, ... not even the first chapter will be good since everything they say . It could have been echoed in a single 24-minute episode only.

The only good thing about the anime is the animation and for that reason alone I don't give it a 1

This manhwa is very good, the main character makes you laugh with how random and sadistic he is.

Story: 7/10. The plot is simple but entertaining, although certain aspects are sometimes left out and then appear suddenly.

Art: 9/10. I really like the art, it's very well done and the battle scenes are awesome.

Characters: 8/10. The protagonist is a complete madman, as the title suggests, sometimes he helps people and other times he is cruel. The secondary characters are very good, although some disappear for several chapters.

In short, I give the anime an 8/10. It makes me laugh quite a bit and the lead is really a ... lunatic.

I started watching this anime because it seemed calm to pass the time, and I have to say that I loved it a lot.

Art is perfect for everything. I like how the characters represent the weather and, above all, the well-drawn landscapes.

The music is very good. The opening represents the happiness of the characters, but what stands out the most for me is the ending, which perfectly reflects the feeling of tranquility and peace in those situations. Also, the soundtracks are perfect for every situation.

I give the anime a 9/10. It made me laugh quite a bit and I love everything about it. I'm not giving it a 10 just to avoid looking like a fanboy and because there are a couple of details that could be improved.

A gem that you have to read if you like manwha and martial arts with special techniques

I started watching this anime because I was intrigued by the musical instrument they use and the way it sounds. I stumbled upon a dramatic anime in which the protagonist tries to create his own music despite being heavily influenced by his grandfather's music.

Story: 9/10
The story revolving around Setsu, the protagonist, is spectacular. Despite having immense talent, he lacks his own unique style when playing the shamisen, only imitating his grandfather's music. Thus, he must search for his own essence.

Art: 8/10
The art is perfect and doesn't need much more than it has. Even the fingers playing the shamisen and the movements are fantastic.

Characters: 9/10
The characters ... are perfect in every sense. None of them seem flat or unimportant, and the characters who are meant to be irritating are portrayed very well. I particularly love the protagonist and his brother's personalities, while I strongly dislike the mother and childhood friend.

Music: 10/10
I feel the need to express my opinion on the music. I never thought I would enjoy the sound of the shamisen so much. I've seen the instrument in some anime scenes before, but this anime represents it extremely well. I even want to listen to certain tracks while studying or simply for pleasure


Despite everything said above, I give it an 8/10, which I think is the note that this anime deserves the most

It is one of the best Shonen manwhas I have seen, despite the unattractive name it is a complete underrated hidden gem
