Oh man, I was so so happy to see this manga to get an adaption and this adaption is superb. I love it
If you are looking for an anime that has comfy vibes, nostalgia, fantasy, elves that you can bully, for some reason an odd focus on feet and armpits and dialogues in which the characters are not going full BRBRBRBR ZA WARUDO, this would be your anime.
The animation and art are all around pretty good, the plot and characters are intriguing and engaging, the ending song is beautiful. I love it and you better love this anime or else I will do bad things
...

Chainsaw man was super hyped and the manga was super popular as well and i gotta say that it was a bit meh, not the best anime i have seen neither the worst. The animation is good, the visuals are good, the music is good, voice acting is good but the story and characters in general are pretty bland in general. We have Denji, an utter idiot without much common sense and morals
Makina, the wet dream of any masochist and well, her voice is rather nice to hear just like an ASMR if you are into that stuff.
Power, an idiot just like Denji but
...
she is more lovable i guess
And the rest that are there for plot flavor since they will die most of them except for the girl who is a scaredy cat and kinda becomes a meme
All in all, watch it, its fun but dont have high expectatives

Well, so long Beastars. I have followed you since the first chapter. And you should had been gone earlier, when you were great and not now. You were supposed to be the chosen one! Either way, time to start my filled with spoilers review:
The setting is pretty much the world we live in nowadays but instead of humans, we have animals of any kind. It's quite interesting and sometimes you can see small details like tiny stairs for mouses, divisions in police force regarding size of the animals (big ones, small ones) or abilities like flying, digging, etc... and worldbuilding in general that makes the
...
whole world more interesting. Sadly, the author doesn't really explore that and besides a few odd chapters, she puts more attention to the characters which is not a bad thing but it gets tiring after a while because the whole drama is about mixed species animals and interspecies relationships which gets tiring. There was the whole sea animals topic the author didn't really explore and it could have been wonderful, way better than the whole arc about Melon and how dumb is Legosi.
Ah yes, Melon. I don't really know why the author created a character like him but geez, he is the example of a character that should have died 30 chapters earlier. A mixed species animal who is a BPD psycho that everyone fears for some reason even when he is pretty weak compared to most carnivores. We also have Legosi, part lizard part wolf and well, of course Legosi when the series starts and Legosi when the series ends are different in many ways. Mainly in how dumbass he gets to be but also in his confidence. His character really changes a lot in the series but not in the best path in the final run (he gets to be really dumb and nearly killed a few times). There are also Louis, Haru and the others characters in the school who after a certain arc, their importance is barely any except in the ending and it is still pretty eh, like most people actually forgot a few characters exist im sure, like Bill. Haru doesn't seem to be like a real love interest for Legosi and more like a fetish with the way it is described in his mind. And he is always scared of eating her??? So why the heck does he agree in going out with her?! As a note, i find Haru the most realistic character out of everyone and probably my favourite. She's been using boys to validate herself for wo lont at school, and then suddenly Legosi comes along and lifts her up, but she still wants to have her own agency. She wants to have a relationship with Legosi that's male and female as well as carnivore and herbivore (chase me, Legosi) but also she wants him to desire her.
Legosi and Haru are both complicated and flawed characters and they both probably overthink everything. Their relationship may never be easy, but they're so deeply entangled now, they know they'll never be able to be away from each other. Haru is doing her level best to make sure that what they have isn't co-dependent. She wants to have her own self-validation, and she wants Legosi to be able to be a complete person outside of her as well.
The author also does some huge ass pulls that makes you think she is a hack but some of them can be kind of reasonable but stuff like Louis becoming the boss of the lion mafia is just absurd. Or the ending when the whole city unites to destroy the black market of meat and everyone becomes friends. Yeah no, there must be several more cities or countries and destroying one alley where they sell meat isn't gonna stop anything. In the first chapters you could see a really poor animal selling his fingers as a way to get by. Who says there won't be more cases of that in the future?
Nor the ocean animals saying they will trade their dead ones. Why didn't they think of that earlier?
I feel that the series suffers from ending fatigue and that the author should have sticked with the psychological side instead of going full shonen with epic anime fights. Not matter how you put it, a wolf beating a bear in a fist fight is plot armor or the tournament in the black market at the end of the series. It was absurd. I feel that the last arc would have been way better with Legosi struggling to be an adult, his relationship with Haru and others plotlines of characters we already know about. Melon was just a plot device that didn't make much sense from my perspective. He was all over the place and also, the dumb promise Haru made with him amounted to nothing.
Anyway, I give to this series a 6/10. The first arcs are really enjoyable and well done but it gets worse after those arcs, has some ups and down in quality with the ending being quite mediocre in my opinion but not as bad as the ending of Game of Thrones. My main complains are that the author focused too much on Melon, the bpd mixed species and so little in side characters that were quite interesting like Juno.
The art is quite good and evolves. Just compare the first and last chapter.
Overall, this series is enjoyable as hell. Read it.

Spo-spo-spoilers
One wants to die, the other wants to live. With this antithesis , we get to know our main characters, Chiyo and Uratarou.
The plot is after the Genpei War (no gonna explain what is that shit, google it lazy boys), where, instead of winning the Minamoto Clan, the Taira won the war because they made a contract with demons. Chiyo, our protagonist, is searching for inmortality because she is dying (obvious, why she would search for it?) and she finds Uratarou, an undead that doesn't give a fuck and then they go to search for inmortality and a way to kill Uratarou. The plot
...
is interesting and in some parts funny thanks to the characters. Later is revealed that the Taira clan won because Chiyo was made a vessel to the next demon king so she is mean to die if she doesn't find anything. Also, we get to know the empress Antoku (THE BEST) and her bodyguard who joins the party. By the way, Antoku is inmortal so she developes a crush in Uratarou in two seconds. Also, in don't know why every girl in a manga has fucking short skirts or dress.
Let's describe the characters, shall we?
Uratarou: undead, doesn't give an orange, probably likes Chiyo. Thanks to her he looks foward on life. Wants to die
Chiyo: cute as fuck, happy-go lucky and optimism protagonist. But she is dying and pregnant. Wow, she is like a teen of nowadays being pregnant and that. She is only 15 so if Uratarou and her make babies is pedophilia. When she goes to the capital she has a mental breakdown. She is the deredere we need in our life.
Antoku: THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST. Empress of Japan and has a bodyguard strong af. A little tsundere and THE BEST. By the way, did I say she is THE BEST? CAUSE SHE IS THE BEST
That spirit: he was an old man protecting chiyo, he died in the first chapter and resurrected like a sipirt. I can't remember his name.
The art style of the author is something that makes this manga good to me because I can't stop loving it. Chiyo and Antoku are way too cute.

Spoilers ahead.
Second season of the first season of Ao no Exorcist, aired in 2011. I waited 5 years for a second season AND FINALLY, THE DID IT BUT IS ONLY 12 EPISODES. Ao no exorcist was my first anime (not going to count Doraemon and shit because everyone has seen them) and I liked it a lot. But when they went batshit crazy with the things of "Yuki is a demon too and he can use the flames" or "Hello, I'm Rin and Yuki's grandfather" it was pretty shitty. So if you watched the first season and didn't read the manga you are going to
...
be confused watching the Kyoto arc without reading the manga.
In this arc we are going to visit Kyoto after Rin's classmates discovered he was Satan's son and they can't see Rin like before. They aren't going to Kyoto because is fun, they are going because a high level demon is going to be resurrected and the Kyoto branch help them.
The opening isn't as good to the first season but is okay.
The characters are the same of the last season with some news faces.
Rin-satan's son, stupid like no one
Yuki- rin's brother and pretty badass
Eyebrows-tsundere, flat and the best girl
Les trois mousquetaires- a rooster that acts like a tsundere, the always smiling guy and the scaredy Konekomaru
Shiemi-childish big tits girl, very friendly and good person (NOT AS GOOD AS EYEBROWS)
Rooster's father-a mysterious priest that is easily the kindest character in the series
Shura- the fan-service character
And the others, they aren't that important
I'm enjoying this anime like a little child even when I read the manga, maybe is because I still have some nostalgia of the first series.

(This review may have spoilers. I said "May"because truck-sama is pretty famous)
Edit: Episode 5 and truck-sama hasn't appeared.
Waiting.
Fuuka, by the author of A town where you rage, he knows how to make his fans rage like a god. And in Fuuka is the same. Characters? The only good one is maybe Fuuka or Sara and I said, MAYBE. But this guy likes plot twists so, spoiler ahead, he killed Fuuka using truck-sama . Well, he is going to kill Fuuka again in the anime. And the rest of the cast is filler. The gay one, the childhood friend that is in love of the main
...
guy, the other one that god knows who is him but he plays the drums and Sara, the typical cold but later warm girl (atleast, she is cute).
The ecchi is no sense. Or maybe, the skirts in Japan are so fucking short that you can easily see the panties of any girl wearing them. Btw, Fuuka is a little bit crazy. I mean, she broke the phone of a guy twice without any proof. Well, not only Fuuka but also nearly every main is retard. In the manga they dropped out high school like YOLO and only the gay one is the only one that graduated.
Another spoiler ahead. Later the author makes another Fuuka, then, is pretty much the same when It was with Fuuka 1. And surprise, the father of Fuuka 2 was truck-sama's driver.
The romance and drama and shit are forced like a rape. Even the love between an otaku and a dakimakura feel more real.
I'm pretty sure this review I'm writing is easily the resume of the anime.
Don't watch this shit. Go watch Pokemon, the plot is much better.
English isn't my mother language, sorry for the mistakes.

Good manga with a interesting story about people trying to rewrite their past and mend things but gone to WTF IS HAPPENING?.
We have 4 character that are the main:
Our protagonist, a former high school thug and now a former thug with regrets. He wants to go back to the past because a girl got raped because some thugs tried to revenge upon him raping the girl.
The girl, a pretty girl. She was very friendly with our little thug and always tried to make him behave good. By the way, our main character falled in love with her. In reality, she wasn't really raped. She passed
...
out because some guys trying to rape you is spooky. She is love with the next one.
The next one, a childhood friend of our girl. It seems that the girl loves him. He is mute and uses a notebook to speak. Every girl in the school loves him and he tries to avoid all of them.
Another girl, she wants to protect girl 1 from boy 1.
Interesting, no? Well, later in the series we get to know some guys called Time Eaters and sci-fi things. Is a mess. Is like you went to piss and shitted yourself. Or that cute girl in the bus is a trap with a 10 inch dick.
