[INTRODUCTION]
Alright, so one of my female friends actually loves to death. The Promised Neverland, and that's mostly why i decided to check it out because of her. Going to the promised neverland of what she has talked me about and what i have read online i wont lie i was acually the most exited mather fucker on this planet because of how she describe it to me not only that but it sounded extremely interesting so lets start with my toughts on TPN ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -[The bad]- So, what's actually bad about the series? Well, i would like to say the promised neverland is actually a pretty well-built thriller ... and it has a lot of potential and it does remind me of things like death note, code geass and hunter street with mind games, double and triple agents and a lot of mystery and puzzles. But until episode 6 six, i was kinda bored because of pacinf issues as the anime set's up important things exactly at the end and also a scene that starts at the end of episode 5 and continues all the way thru the first half of 6th witch also shows a wierd pacing with the anime. The other thing was that the conflicts were predictable (Should we save all the children or leave them behind, should we tell them or not about the demons? Stuff like that) witch is definitely not something bad, and it was executed in a very well made way, but the problem was that this anime made it feel extremely dragged out. The pacing is like those of things like steins Gate, Slam Dunk, Monster, and Fullmetal Alchamist, where they sacrifice a couple of episodes to make the character's goals, motivation's ect the thing with the promised neverland is that the series exists just to delay anything from happening since apparently, there is no substance to offer here outside the superficial plot points, some what predictable plot twist's and obvious cliffhangers. Not only that, but the psychological and horror aspects were quickly dropped for more mystery, which is not a bad thing and i liked the mystery aspect but it quickly starts to become an actions with dialogue ho are masked as devices in the narrative. This change made me feel like the writer practically never challenges himself. Whenever our characters and stories are cornered, he seeks the easiest way out. Witch for a show like that does not work at all. [Side Characters] The side characters did not feel like anything at all. Yes, they were there (gilda and don ect) they were drawn there, but they didn't feel like they existed would acually liked to see more of them they didn't feel like something worth investing for. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -[The good]- Some good things about the promised neverland (if you ignore the predictable plot twists, weird slow pacing, and obviously uninteresting cliffhangers) are well the character and the mind games that it provides. I actually really loved Emma (i thought she was a guy at firsts lol) she was interestingly written even tho basic shounen protagonist with basic traids Ray and Norman were also very likable While having basic shounen traids, they are also made to be very intelligent in their own, and the 3 of them are very well used to drive the plot forward all of there strengths and weaknesses are very well used with all of there character motiovations the anime nailed the characters even tho the writing in its self has issues (like the predictable plot twists with ray or the obvious drama with Gilda and Don ect, ect) i dont think that it makes them bad [Animation] The animation was pretty solid it was well made and smooth it didn't have that many issues. Yes, sometimes where the lighting is placed can be a bit strange, but it's extremely easy to ignore/get used to and at max when you see stange lighting placements in some scenes trought out the show you probably wont even care (since its not in every scene of the anime just a couple) [Bagrounds] The bagrounds were actually extremely well made and animated they did not feel that out of place, like other shounen anime have. [Soundtrack] The soundtrack was actually pretty good, and it felt the overall vibe of the show, especially the opening it was pretty well made, but it wasn't used enough since sometimes i found myself saying "oh this scene is very quiet" otherwise its definitely a good listen on its own i might check the OST but its definitely not one of the best that there is and there are a lot better than this one. (Hellsing 2001, Cowboy Bepop) [The Main Villan] Mom was a really tough out Villan, but we definitely needed more of her motivation as we didn't see why she would agree on something like that except the last episode and she said 2 words ''to survive" and well..i would liked to see that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Final toughts] When i watched it for the first time, i took notes. Here are some interesting parts of the notes i took 1 day ago at 2 am, lol Episode 1: ● is a very boring character motive's set, tho (in a bit of a boring way since they just talked about what they wanna do and why) ● also why kids dont run away imidiatly? ● They stupid or something? Not much happened, tho pretty boring. Episode 2: ● kinda boring. There are some interesting moments when they plan ig ● MOM KNOWS SHE KNOWS RUN YOU LIL DUMBASSES ● Btw Ray and i literally have the same haircut he probably will like listening to the band the used lol Episode 3: ● 6:30 in and....nothing to say, just boring, but I ig they put another sister, so thats slightly interesting, increases the stakes but not much ● So theres a spy? It could be Ray since he is written to not get along with the other 2 main characters his character seems to be a rational thinker, so if there's a spy kid, then his character trade of having high intellectual abilities probably has some chance of him being a spy because now they are writing them to make the most rational abilities other bet its probably gilda since she asked emma about what they saw meaning she probably can be a spy since she looks like a bit of the cowardly shy type and might be to scared to say no to betraying her friends. We saw someone spying at them at the bushesh so that could have been Gilda to report to Mom (Isabella) Episode 4: ● "You're just insurance. The only reason i called for you was to make sure the products we're protected" - Isabella (Mom). Um, okay? There is no need to repeat dialog from Episode 3. We got the idea it was pointless doing that since we've already established it. ● 3:00 DAMN THEY MAKING OUT? ● 3:04 they didn't:( Episode 7: ● The show is smart. i will give it that it does start to make you feel invested and interested in the story more even tho it took 6 episodes with a boring pacing. Otherwise, they start expanding more on the mystery factor and keep things going Episode 9: ● The clif part felt cheap, ngl Overall here is my rating of the anime Animation: 8.2/10 Characters: 8/10 Story: 7/10 Soundtrack: 7/10 Plot: 7/10 My personal enjoyment: 7.8/10 Overall rating 7/10

Okay so i have many thinks to say about this one
[My experience with deltora quest] - As a child i started watching deltora quest (literally my first anime ever) because the cool kids in the kindergarten were talking about a bulgarian channel (im from bulgaria) super7 and the shows in there and especially the anime and so i wanted to be a cool kindergarten kid and decided to check it out and i fucking loved it as the idiot dumb ass i was back then also some of ols episodes scared me to death and i just adored the series so much (SPOILER) especially the ... plot twist at the end when dain betrays lief and even cried cause dain was my favorite character back then [Rewatching it as an adult] - So i tried founding it to watch it again and it was very hard i didn't remeber its name and had to go on reddit to acually found it and i was suprised how abscure it was it brought back very fun memories and just love and nostalgia but watching it now as an almost functional adult i gotta say..it was very predictable like extremely predictable the story was mostly just okay at best was fine i really think the shows is 100 times more better like a horror fantasy series its so much more interesting when they needed to split up and travel while escaping and fighting ols and i found myself loving that mini arc and being really invested in it like a lot the show has lows true and the story is predictable but his highs like that one mini arc were amazing and i loved them its like wait youre telling me that 3 idiots have to travel to find 7 gems while escpaning monsters that can transform gain there trust then try to kill them or tear them apart dosent sound dope? The ols gave the stroy much needed mystery and interests that the anime wacks and make it a horror fantasy witch being one is way better than just normal one sadly the ols come to the story too late and arent that much there (witch is making me real fucking depressed let me tell you that) ofc there was the potential of the only Japanese episodes (the ones that werent dubbed) for the ols and it started great i tought it was going to even be better than the original story but nope..after the first 3 epsiodes of the arc they just slack off either than trying to kill the shadow lord or discover how to stop the ols it made me from exited to disappointed and sad real fast [The main story] - But anyway what about the main story? Well..as i said already i tought it was predictable but was it good? Yeah it was honestly a fine ass story nothing big just very straight foward there wasnt much plot twists or even seing them set up a different story line so if you just wanna watch something that is acually fine to pass the time with yeah this is the shit for you but if you just wanna watch something much more interesting ans mind threalling..eh..no [The battles] - Yeah i have a problem with that as well the battles in the series arent that good and are way to fast you cant really feel that the shadow lord or the people he sends are a big threat to our main characters have you ever heard of show dont tell? Well the show dose tell and tell dosent really trys to show thought his battles that OH YEAH WE ARE FUCKED IF WE CANT WIN type of way witch is disappointing yeah some of the gems didn’t need to be getten by battle (witch is kinda good) but the times when they battle it doesn't feel intense (accept the dain one that one was acually dope as hell) and don't show that our characters will struggle witch leads me to [The belt] - On paper it sounds awesome they can use 7 gems that give you powers ect ect well..i feel disappointed its not used a lot in this show only at the early stages then its quickly dropped off? Like imagine if the battles were intense and they acually needed to use the belt to win or they will die that will show that there quest matters more that will and can show that they need to fight because if they almost died or lost what about the avradge person that will show that there is danger and that there is needed help (yes ofc they do show that but its not enough to get you beliving in it) [The characters] - Oh boy do i have to say something about lief huh? At first they showed me that he was like a rebel type of street kid that has loving parents but irs rearly home because he thinks for the people and hates the shadow lord and i tought they are gonna shows is first how he is living how the avradge common person lives in a world like that and ofc they showed us his flaws how he is reckles but his jeart was in the right place and i was like yeah that sounds cool but after like 3 or 4 episodes they just left that personality they didn’t shows us any build up to him growing up or leaving it (witch i was like at least shows us some character development like bruh) they didn't even show us how he lives that way what he experiences in the streets we never even saw any flashbacks of him getting in trouble in the streets and that helping his character to grow on us or other way to give us any reason why he is the way he is now and why he hates the shadow lord it was wasted potential on giving him a nice depth and grow on us as viewers - JASMINE! JASMINE! JASMINE honestly she might be the best character yeah fair enough a little annoying at times but oh boy is she entertaining she has nice depth and backstory that is acually showend and why she hates the shadow lord (her reason why she joined the group was a bit meh but fine i can get behind it) at the start she was a little of that self arogant a litrle self centered type that is acually kind on the insided but sadly like lief they didn't get trought her neither character development just..just happened -_- as i cant help but feel like she could be a lot more expanded on and wrote a lot better but still best written character by far ugh..but well whatever happened happened - Barda its like the mother figure of the groupd aways protects them and aways tries to be there for then i like barda he is like a big mommy bear very nice thumps up [Idioticy] - By that i mean the main cast made some big dumb ass decisions at times ho were obviously out of character and uneeded and also very unbelievable oh you killed the witch tagon 4 FUCKING TIMES AND HER CHILDREN AND YOU TRUST HER ANYWAY...good work jasmine ugh it makes the show a lot more insufferable please if there will be a reboot dont do that fix it please [Character designs] - Well..i think lief one was kinda basics for a main character and didn't had that much cool powers and the powers he had werent expanded on again wasted potential for a cool main character Jasmine desing was acually good i liked it Barba was alright nothing special but not bad and boring it was fine And Dains one yeah i liked that one as well [Animation] - The animation was pretty meh i mean it was alright nothing special giving the battles they couldn't do cool animation in them but also any of the scenes like for example when they are in campfire the fire should have tehnicaly put lightning on lief considering the distance (in episode 31 that scene) but they just made it shine a little and lief was just dark and didn't had any trace frok the fite in him and other scene like the sun and in daylight nope..or at night nope..with one word the animation is pretry basic and hasn't been put too mucj effort and work on it very lazy i mean if you cant do the shadows right at leas the battles right? Oh yeah.. [Bagrounds] -The bagrounds were acually pretty detailed..i like that i gues all the effort got put into them from the animation couldn't they done both right and interesting tho :< [Thinks i liked] - I liked how they had cards for breaks and give a card of a character i really found that need but they could have got a way up and give tha card about the character/characters that they would be important in this episode but anyway irs fucking coool and unique non the less and also the lievs before the end card was pretty need as well its like there was work and love put into it but then also it wasnt oh bruh.. [The Main Villian] - We needed more of the shadow lord we needed some backstory from him we needed to show how powerfull he was like for example showing the first time when he claimed deltora or you could have just showend more of his powers and plans at least something more from him [Side characters] - The side characters were..something? I really dont know how to describe them really they werent really that memorable and interesting accept Doom and Dain and those 2 werent even that much expanded on in the stroy (sadly) we could have so much from doom like showinf his traveling and his escape his experience there his fights his reaction after not understanding and not knowing ho he was and could have seen a slow return of his memories as the return of the show was way to fast LIKE TO FUCKING FAST he could have been something amazing of a character but nope In the end deltora quest is a slightly above avradge story with nice mini arcs and plots that were wasted and showed us how good the show could have been but we got this instead and this is not bad its just very okay or fine I give it something like 7 or 6 /10 its not more and its honestly fine ti watch as nothing special time killing series that its acually good for that it is But in the end it was only my opinion hey if you think this show slaps and you love it dont listen to me i can respect that just loveling what you love I apriciat you reading this review a lot and sorry if i had some spelling mistakes english is my 2/3 language Thank you!
