This review is for the anime K-on! first season.. please dont mistaken this with the 2nd season coz i haven't watched it yet. thank you! Now let's begin.

Though all of the characters are kawaii, I noticed in some scenes that they are drawn haphazardly meaning to say, not in the best quality for my taste. Compared to other animes that i saw, this has the most unique art. Being unique in a positive way is what I meant. The one who illustrated the characters made a really good job however, I didn't captivate me that much. But it still appeals to most people so I guess it is really worth the effort
Sound: 10
As expected from a music-themed anime, sounds ranging from the OST's, character songs and voice actresses are very superb. Viewers will enjoy the liveliness of the characters and the music that the group plays. For the OST's, the intro song sounds very cute while the ending song gives a very rocking feeling. Character songs are also very good. The voice actresses sounded really professional and so they executed their roles pretty well. A perfect score for this one.

Obviously, each character has her own ability, but what is really interesting is their unique traits and their relationship with one another. The main character Yui Hirasawa for me, made the greatest character development because she came from a zero-knowledge girl, to a sensational guitarist of the Keiongaku. Other developments are very nicely done too but there is still more room for improvement. Maybe the 2nd season will match my expectations but as for now, the characters of this anime are very lovable and that is one of the reasons why K-on! has been a huge success for KyoAni.

All of the 12 episodes of this series will keep you laughing all the time! Although this is under the comedy genre, it still has that 'inpirational' feel to it which i think is a very nice addition too. The gags in this series are not lame and everything is very enjoyable: from the animations to the voicing and etc. Everythng is good.

Music themed fans as well as average anime viewers will love this one. Personally, I am not a fan of music-themed anime. Today, I am still not a fan but one thing is for sure, I am a certified K-on fan! Aside from very minor graphic discrepancies, this show is very good on its own. Audience will enjoy music-packed comedy for twelve whole episodes PLUS the second season! Got nothing to watch? Try this one!
