I have very mixed feelings on this show. So much so, that I'm not even sure how to rate it.
It's an anime I would have surely dropped towards the end of the 1st season, had I not watched it with a friend.
The music was really great, the humor was actually funny and the artstyle was very good. But that's it.
The story went downhill fast, everything got super repetetive, and kinda... underwhelming and predictable. I was waiting for several twists that never came, like him taking off his wristbands, because they made sure to show them ALL THE TIME and I was so sure they were
...
weights, and this would turn the battle he couldn't win otherwise. But nothing of the sort ever came. They were just wristbands.
Then the blonde girl and the little brother of Rayne, whose names I couldn't even remember after 2 seasons, because they were completely pointless (main) characters. I was waiting for them to show their strengths either in battle or as a person that puts meaning to their character's existance. Again, none of that ever came.
The very last battle was set up as this epic final battle, but it was just 95% talking and 5% underwhelmingly animated action. I think Mashle is the first anime I ever watched, that almost made me fall asleep during its action scenes and I'm not even exaggerating. So much explaining of the most basic things they did, and that after literally every 2nd move they made. The battle scenes really treated the audience like toddlers.
The magic even stopped making sense at the end, because Mash's Daddy went "Time needles" or something, just so he could have an offensive magic move even though his magic is time themed. Really now? There are so many things you could do with time magic to use it offensively, but sadly, creativity is really lacking in this show.
So, as a comedy show it was really good, especially the 1st season, because the way Mash was solving his problems was actually still unique and surprising, but got stale really fast. Everything else was very meh or flat out bad, which is sad, since this actually had a lot of potential.

I'll keep the first half of my review spoiler free as much as possible and go into detail a bit more in the second half for those who want the spoilers to decide if they want to read it or not.
I'm honestly very surprised that this manhwa has such a low rating here.
The MC is much more likable in my opinion than most others of this genre. He's not your typical "I'm OP and need to hide it because it would be inconvinient" character. Quite the opposite actually.
But let's put some story context first:
So people can practically manifest "Skills" (called Edeya) with their soul essence.
...
These "Skills" have ranks and then there's an individual combat power rank. (Kinda like a hunter's rank in other manhwa)
Our MC has (of course) F-Rank in both and is bullied in school for being the weakest in the whole school. Though many readers seem to think he's actually a super badass and is just acting weak when in truth he's just a lonely guy, scared of his own abilities.
*I guess the next part would contain more spoilers so warning to those who want to read further!
So our MC had a pretty traumatic childhood. His parents were murdered and he was abused by literally everyone which made him manifest his "Skill" which practically turns him into a psychopathic killer that doesn't even differentiate enemies from friends.
The thing is... he has to meet a certain condition to turn this skill OFF, which is to either kill the target or destroy the target's Edeya.
He's not some emotionless cold blooded killer by nature, which is why the MC is scared of his own skill and doesn't want to use it.
He practically chose to endure bullying instead of accidentally killing innocent people so his behavior in the first chapters is not some acting, it's more his normal character using defense mechanisms like smiling to prevent escalation (which is a real thing) and you still see him acting that way after he starts using his skill.
The other characters also don't suddenly love and admire him when they see him use his ability, they're actually scared of him at first and only start to befriend him when he starts working hard to be able to control his skill.
I really like how they handled the character development.
Even his damn teacher got character development!
All in all he kind of reminds me of a weird mix of Daniel (Lookism) and JinWoo (SoloLeveling).
Also... I'd LOVE to see this animated just to be able to hear our MC speak when he goes into his psycho state because that would sound reaaally cool.
It's only up to chapter 41 right now but for NOW it's easily one of my favorites. I can't recommand this manhwa enough to people who want OP protagonists with a bit more personality.

Let's start with the fact I dropped this Anime at episode 6 because I just didn't see the point of continuing this torture.
In those whole 6 episodes I watched nothing interesting happened. The only worldbuilding was "there's magic and MC is special because..." that's it. The following 5 episodes was just soft Hentai. You watch the parents have sex in almost every episode, fapping guys, fapping girls and the worst "trap-bait" situation I've ever seen. I don't remember much else about this anime because those are literally the only things that happened.
Story 2/10
- There's literally nothing to talk about. It's an Isekai with magic
...
and a pervert as Main Character, that's all the story I got in 6 whole episodes
Art 10/10
- Really well done. I love the artstyle and animations
Music 5/10
- Nothing to praise but also nothing to complain about
Character 1/10
- A stereotypical south park gamer otaku in the body of a 9 year old perving on other 9 year olds
- Every girl in this show so far was absolutely cliche and annoying as hell
- The only kinda likable characters were the parents but the Anime even managed to ruin THAT and I don't even see what the point was
Enjoyment 1/10
- If you enjoy soft Hentai and perverted little children, you will probably enjoy this Anime. I don't.
- No action, was not interesting in any way, was not funny and all characters are either cringe or annoying. I don't even know what this anime is trying to BE at this point
All in all, this anime is practically Boku No Pico with a decent story, not gay and alleged good worldbuilding. If that's your thing then good for you and please stay away from children.

I don't even know how to rate this.
I think this donghua was the greatest disappointment of everything I've ever watched.
Not because of some expectations getting crushed when I started - I literally knew nothing about this show before I started it except for the PV - it was more the expectations I had AFTER watching the 1st episode!
If I had to give a rating to the 1st episode alone. I'd rate it a 10/10 with all honesty in my heart. It started original, had tension, very amazing fight scenes and the MC was apparently a skilled sniper and came off as cool-headed and calculating.
...
All in all it was absolutely amazing and I didn't understand how this could have such a low rating.
And then all of that just, *poof*, as if it never existed. Nothing of what happens next makes any sense, the MC's skills just don't matter anymore because he's suddenly using a knife (as a skilled sniper should, right?), only gets kicked around together with his annoying tag-along and there's an useless amount of CGI even in scenes where they're not even moving and I was wondering why they didn't just make the whole thing CGI in the first place.
All in all I felt like watching a completely different show after the 1st episode and had to drop it at the 5th because it's boring, confusing and annoying me at the same time at this point.

It IS pretty fast paced, especially the training phase, which was kinda non existant. Regardless, the movie was still close to a masterpiece to me.
Compared to japanese animes I've watched the past years, this is on a totally different level. Having watched many chinese anime until now, I got used to how fast they feel, I have barely time to read the subtitles, which I never had a problem with before. Maybe to others, this adds to the already fast paced story on some parts.
Story: 9/10 I loved the story right from the beginning. I only feel it lacks a bit of interaction between the
...
characters.
Art: 10/10 What else can I say. No 5 year olds that are actually 25 and no giant, wobbly boobies.
Sound: 10/10 Apart from the amazing soundtracks, the simple sound effects they use to dramatize a scene are something that doesn't even exist in japanese anime. They also added details to small things like the sound of their armor mid battle. Simply awesome!
Character: 8/10 Like other reviews already stated, due to the fast pace it's a bit hard to get to know the characters or add any real character development. Regardless, I liked the characters and the most important characters got enough love to grow to like them.
Enjoyment: 9/10 I watched it for the action, awesome animation and badass MC. And I got action, awesome animations and a badass MC!
Overall: 9/10 Apart from a few problems the show had, I loved it. There's no such sing as a "really perfect anime" every show has it's flaws somewhere and for me the flaws in this one were a minimum.
It was refreshing to see an anime stray from the cliche all animes are filled with nowadays. Because I'm already fed up with those.
It's pretty simple, though: If you came here for action, you will like this anime. If you came here for characters, their problems and development, you probably won't. But maybe give it a try anyway.
