I think there similar because the relationship that Naru and Mai (Ghost Hunt) have is just of that of Kazuma and Ayano's (Kaze no Stigma) Although they follow different story lines they both are about people whose job is to exorcise evil spirits, break curses and other things They also have a similar main male lead who is full of himself and rather irritating to those around him But everyone has there own opinion so if you decide to watch it you may enjoy it i know I did :)
