This series is incredible—it’s packed with mystery in every loop, constantly keeping you on edge. Early on, it’s revealed that the main character can loop back in time through death, similar to Subaru from Re:Zero. The emotional intensity reminds me of the first two arcs of Re:Zero, where you're never quite sure who to trust or what’s really going on.
Even with the ability to rewind time, there’s never a sense of comfort. You can’t predict how things will unfold, and that unpredictability is what hooks you. Just like in Re:Zero's early arcs, things slowly start to make sense—until a sudden twist resets everything, sending us

back to square one, but this time with a bit more knowledge.
Each timeline is a mystery in itself. Completing one doesn’t mean you’ve won—it just means you understand more of the bigger picture, while new problems and unanswered questions emerge. Even if one path ends without the main character dying, there's always that lingering feeling that something crucial was missed or ignored.
Without giving too much away, no two paths are ever truly the same. Sometimes, even when repeating the same actions, you’ll hit a brand new dead end. But these twists never feel cheap—instead, they open up new layers of the story you hadn’t considered before. Every route contributes to a deeper understanding of the overarching mystery, which is what keeps you reading.
Even a seemingly “good” ending might be cast in a different light once you’ve explored other paths. There’s always a trade-off, always more to discover.
Bottom line: it's a thrilling read that’ll keep you on your toes the whole way through.

I'm going to do something different, I'm not going to review the Anime School Days but rather the H game School Days HQ, its origin. The reason why I'm doing this is because the anime's ending is one of many endings in the game. If you don't like the anime because of how unbearable the main character is, the solution is to try a different route.
The game is a choice based visual novel, in which all your outcomes are decided by you. Therefore, you can either keep a cool head and make logical decisions or be a buffoon like in the Anime for fun. For
...
example, endings like Christmas Eve, all of Makoto decisions leading up to it are genuine. In this route, he loves Kotonoha and no one else, he doesn't consider switching to Sekai due to feeling bad for her. Personally, this is the best outcome but others might argue that endings like the Harem one is surperior. However, I truly believe that love should be commited to one person, no more juggling who to love and then leading to death like in the Anime.
If you have the free time, you should consider playing the game rather than watching the anime. It gives you control over the outcomes.

I think the reason why people hate season 2 because it couldn't live up to the hype of the first season.
I like Shield Hero because of its game-like adventure style direction, leveling up and having cool adventures. Most people would say otherwise, saying it was the revenge story that got them hooked. I'm also the same but the revenge plot wasn't my sole reason. THEREFORE, I like season 2 despite the majority disliking it.
I think the plot was pretty alright, character was also pretty fun to watch and art was adequate enough to tell the story. It's a super hero anime and nothing inherently

bad to say.
I love the new character, Kizuna. She is the Hunting Hero who is a pacifist. She cannot hurt others, not just that her ability can't allow her, she would not hurt others if given the chances. Naofumi asked her "What would you do if we had to attack your world to save the our world" and she replied "I would find another way to save our world and yours". I love that along with her fun personality.
I know, my review is pretty bad and you can disregard most of what I said. To be honest, most of what I feel about this season is hard to express, it's a fun season personally. Just don't have high hopes, as I see it, it might ruin the anime for you.

It is truly overrated even if it is rated average. Everything about this anime is bad.
To begin with, the Story is the only reason that people watch this Anime, which is about economy. However, this Anime took economy and brutally simplified it. The economy in Realist Hero isn't that smart, it feels like the Author read only the entry level of some topics and made a story around it. I can probably write this kind of story by looking up on the Internet for a few hours. It is basic and insulting to me that people thought that this is better than some Isekai. Even
...
Black Company taught me better than this
Additionally, the Art is boring! It is made by JC Staff and of course it is going to be mediocre. Bland, generic, boring and is only there to tell a story. Konosuba, while it was made by Studio Deen and JC Staff, is far better as it has better directors.
Characters are an insult to anime fans. To summarize, a generic MC, a generic blond girl, a generic milf, a fat dude just because they want to balance the genders, a generic serious guy, a stupid black Elf and a Loli. Seriously, all of these characters are there to feel like this Anime has relationships but, truthfully, they are there just to drive the story. Especially the fat dude, he doesn't have any reasons to be fat. It is an eyesore to look at him. (I know he eats a lot but can the author make any excuses?)
Finally, the Opening sucks! Hello World sucks! The animation is terrible.
My image of this anime is like this
A overly basic economy story with everything surrounding it such as the characters, overworld, music exist to serve only.
