Indecisive MCs are not unique in Animes. In fact that is the norm, especially when making a harem anime. But among the ocean of spineless, indecisive MCs of the anime world, this guy comes among the very top. See if the MC is not OP and have confidence issues, which is also the norm, then his character was set. But for the apparently "Strongest Human of the World", this MC has no ego, no pride, no confidence not even arrogance. It is practically impossible for a person like that to become the "Strongest" without at least one of the above. This level of cheap character
...
building (None actually) is only reserved for Hentais, which brings me to my actual view on the anime.
Calling this garbage an anime itself is complete blasphemy. At the same time, this is neither a Hentai. You see, even though Hentai is a type of Anime, there is a fine line between them. An Anime has a deeper plot in it (There is much more, but this is enough for comparison right now), while even though a Hentai has a plot it is just enough to get to the fun parts. And this garbage fails in both departments. It has neither plot, nor it has those fun parts that would make it a Hentai. Seriously, they could have made it into a Hentai and dodged this criticism. But they tried to skirt the line and to make it an anime and failed miserably at being either.

If there was an award for the "Most Wholesome anime of the Season", this would probably win it.
People who gave a negative review to this anime are probably the ones whose only other reference anime is DBZ or OPM. Not that they are bad, what I'm saying is for them anime means bombastic fights.. This is not your typical action-packed anime with OP MCs (Although the MC is quiet OP) and tons of fan-service. This is not your Isekai anime where the MC is the most hated person on the face of that world just because, Plot. This is not an anime where the MC
...
has been summoned to kill the demon lord. This anime is simply about an average crunch time worker dying (due to a bizarre reason btw) and is Isekaied by the gods to another world with the memories of his previous life just so he could take it easy and live a normal and peaceful life. And guess what, that is exactly what happens in the whole anime. AND THAT IS FINE!!
This is an anime that I personally always kept for last. After watching all the action and thriller filled animes of the season, you just sit back and watch the MC have a happy time with his very young, but very obvious love interest and his/their slimes. (Frankly the slime thing is probably just because there is a certain other anime that got quite the acclaim.) There is not much that happened in the anime, certainly nothing thrilling, but I cannot help but hope there is a sequel to this just so I can rest my eyes and ears by watching it.
Watch it. Watch it while keeping in mind that the MC is graced by the gods.

The ratings speak for itself. It has been a few minutes I finished the "movie" and I am still to figure out what happened, or why it happened, or why should people care?
Unless there is a follow-up anime planned, or they want you to follow the manga (which at the time of writing this is exactly at the same place), this whole clearly no-a-movie does not make any sense.
There is no time to connect to any of the characters, the plot is...difficult to find.
And without any kind of follow up, the ending is just anti-climatic. Nothing actually encouraging you to start following the mange or
...
wait for any anime.
By the end of the third episode, you are left wanting your hour or something back.
Skip this unless they announce something that would need you to watch it for context sake.

I will save you from reading the details of this review: DO NOT WATCH THIS ANIME.
There. Now if you want to know why read further.
Story: Cliched. Badly Cliched. Untimed Humour. Non Cohesive.
Art: Trash. Bad CGI. Worse, badly choreographed fighting.
Sound: OP: Pathetic. Soundtrack: Untimed, unmatching. Sometimes even the voice acting is unsynced. ED: Somewhat redeeming.
...
Character: Worse than generic. I still do not know the names of the other classmates that got Isekai'd with the MC. No character building what-so-ever.
Enjoyment: Do you even need to know after the upper 4 points?
Overall: MAL should have a negative rating for particular anime. I haven't watched an anime that I would like to give a lesser rating to.
I really don't want to discredit the effort that goes into anime-making. But this one is so badly directed that it is completely unwatchable. Non-LN watchers will start the story with zero knowledge about the context and finish it with zero. I don't know how much this anime follows the LN, but if the LN is remotely similar, then I don't know how did the studio get enough funds to even start this project.
I understand the MC is supposed to be OP. But how does he keep pulling modern machinery out of his ass? In which school did they teach him 'How a Sniper Rifle works?', 'How to make a Hummer?' or 'How to make a drilling machine?'. He transmutes stuff? I would like to know by transmuting which rare earth can you make a pistol so that I could shot the producer of the sequel and save the people of earth.
Which gets me to my next point? HOW IN THE BLUE FUCKING HELL DID THIS GET A SEQUEL? There are soo many animes that deserve a sequel than this one. Literally every one of them out there I think. Yes, even Isekai Cheat Magician.

An anime original does a few things quite good, and K series does not disappoint.
Like sound. Awesome soundtrack just like the first season. The opening and ending may not be remarkable but are still good. The background soundtrack, voice acting etc are phenomenal.
Art and animation are also one of the few things that are benefits from being an original work. Although, the repeated cut scenes of special moves do get annoying.
Sadly, the fight scenes, even though they probably planned to make them very intense, are quite lacking. They add flashy moves like the spinning of swords or preparation of a special attack but to hide
...
the actual fights. Fast and odd camera angles to give the fight a sense of intensiveness.
There is a little bit of fanservice by the name of Awashima. Really, it seems like everything she does needs a jiggle of her assets or the way she falls must be an upskirt moment. Frankly, I am not opposed to fanservice but I think this anime could have done as good as it did without it.
There is some character development along with some back story revelations in the form of flashbacks but they still seem lacking a bit. I understand that is some work to be done by the novel writers.
The story takes a dive in the second season mainly because of the very vague logic and reason for the antagonists. I understand not every evil plan should be grand but for old experiences men to just go along a child's immaturity does not sit well.

Don't worry people. This is not a recap episode. No this is a Re-crap episode.
But you know what? It makes sense. This proves that the production is at least aware that their work is so crappy that neither the characters nor the plot was able to catch the viewers interest. They knew that most viewers probably forgot what happened in the episode before even the end credits began. Actually, I think this was more to remind themselves of what they were working with. I think even they forgot what they were doing and put this episode up to get the time and get their shit
...
together.
Yes, that's it! Positive Thinking. Positive Thinking.
Hah! As if. The anime is shitty and will probably remain shitty.

This may come as a surprise to some, especially after reading the negative comments about this anime. But I will frankly place this Isekai on the top of every other Isekai that came out this season.
The reason for that is simple. This anime isn't meant to be taken seriously. This is more like a gag anime like KonoSuba. And hence I don't take anything that happens in this seriously either.
But that not all there is to it. The plot is actually better for a gag anime. Much better than the other Isekais that released this season. Granted there isn't much plot, the whatever there is,
...
is presented beautifully.
The artwork is good, so is the animation. And while I might sound like a broken record now, even those two things along with the sound are better than the other Isekais.
Some characters are indeed generic. Twin tailed Tsudered, check. Excited Mc with a powerful skill, check. But the mothers, they are new. Not when compared to the mothers in all other anime, No. But a mother that is Isekai'd definitely changes the character and give a refreshed feeling.
A parent and child relation is something not many animes like this have. For people like me, who are watching animes since the 90s, orphaned MCs are actually the norm. So this is indeed refreshing. It provides a good laugh.

Are you looking for an exciting Isekai? Do you want a girl Isekai'd with the MC? Do you want them to be OP as well? Well, even if your answers to all those questions are yes, you should still skip this one. Because frankly a better story could have been made by those three elements by Bad Fanfiction writers.
This is a prime example of the author just wanting to jump onto the Isekai's bandwagon. But what do you do to do that? You take an MC, with no personality what so ever, making him OP. Isekai him with his 'Osananjimi' childhood female friend who, obviously,
...
likes him. Make her OP as well, but not as much as the MC. And....that's it.
Plot? What is that? Who needs plot when you have those things? Animation? Bah! Just a flip-book will do. Other characters? Well, just add a few generic characters like a blonde uptight Elf, a bouncy 'Strongest Magician' teacher who knows everything. Antagonists? Just give them the worst personalities possible like a girl who gets turned on by other strong girls and a guy who threatens to defile the girls close to MC. Package this with trash music. And Baam! Money in the bank.
I already know Isekai is a very beaten down road, but this, along with most others this season, is just pathetic.
