this anime absolutely left me in shambles, mostly tears. i thought it would be a happy anime about two girls who happened to met on a train and coincidentally had the same name. but, unfortunately not.
i will never understand takumi. i know hachi loves him. but i will NEVER like takumi. nobuo and hachi should have been end-game. they were so good for each other.
after ending the anime, i was left a little confused, but im not brave enough to read the manga, i know i’ll just get more pissed off and end up crying some more. over all, it was a good

this is like my second review or something like that. but i did drop this show, i just found it disrespectful in one way more than the other.
the way they made Aphrodite appear in the show, i think it was disrespectful to change her whole body shape just to appeal to the audience. she didn’t have a big chest, she wasn’t abnormally skinny. i think changing the way someone looks shouldn’t be done for fanservice, especially not a greek god. i know that some gooners will like this depiction of her, and by all means, enjoy it. but that’s the only reason i dropped the show. i ...

so, i have a VERY strong opinion about something shown multiple times in this anime,
i felt like there was a little bit of sexualization going on, now that im thinking about it, there definitely was. for example, when her and her LITTLE SISTER, were in the bath, we didn’t see anything, but i felt it was just it there not just to show us them having a good conversation with each other but also to…excite the people watching… which, sexualizing MINORS IS NOT OKAY, anime or not it’s just fucking weird. as a lady, the sexualization completely ruined the show for me. i mean, it was in ... |
