Similar story in the beginning. In both cases there're twin sisters who were parted for some years swap places, one of them dies and the other decides to live instead the died one. The difference is that in "Arisa" the purpose is to investigate the circumstances of death, while in "Inochi" heroine sacrifise herself to protect her mother. Haven't read the whole "Inochi" thing, but "Arisa" all the way kept the intrigue , the plot is reeealy twisted.
