Below average shoujo... why is it rated 8?

Ignoring the plot armor of the princess protagonist that can 'scare' the bad guys by looking at them with a 'fierce' eye... when in reality she would have been rap.. finally making her realize how stupid was her plan as the pirates plan was to assault ALL the ships anyway...

Hak doesn't deserve this. He is already suffering too much and I can already see the ending of this series: she gets with the man that killed her father as she understands from her adventures (with the fake harem/guards) that her father was a good man but terrible ruler ... to the country that was getting poorer and violent by day...

I was hoping for the entirety of the time to see hak leaving as soon as possible the harem party, to find his own happiness elsewhere, not to be happy from someone else happinees (the two 'prince' and 'princess' being together)

But i know its a vain wish as plot armor will forgive the princess for everything while he will have a sour smile being without any desire except 'hime sama'... (for no reason other than authors greed).

To answer doubts about why she would end with the prince: its because he has everythig: intellect, beauty, strength AND heart. Every one of the harem is missing some characteristic of this 4 element.

Isekaid (?) in a world where males that can make giant kaijus (?) are rare (?) and are forced to get married to horny girls.

Honestly world build is very good in this anime, although not properly explained, the main reason i dropped is because the male is too passive when they try to abuse him and basically does nothing to prevent it while being the strongest, and also the progress in story is very very slow...
The male MC is just there to be used as a tool, inside the world and also outside his world, by the author. As a tool that makes plots ... or schemes made by others happen... So a deus ex machina. Willing, i haven't seen him trying to go back to his world or search information about it once and the sole reason he agreed to kill someone in the first episode was for this reason... After that this topic seemed to be closed and the MC just enjoys the life there, while being abused from time to time.

Probably the authors dream, to be in a world where beautiful girls abuse you but at the same time are attracted to you.

Bloodiverse is the representation of the 'random bullshit go' meme. Every event happening in the anime has no explanation and you be prepared to follow this rule: expect the unexpected all the time. Nothing is explained, nothing is foreshadowed, stuffs just happen because why not. There is no established rule for the world, no worldbuilding, and literally any shit can happen: from someone becoming a werewolf to someone becoming a blade by touching a naked red statue found inside tremors monsters.

Also the contrast tone of the series trying to force a 'drama' tone while ridiculous stuff are happening on screen is hilarious... Don't know if ... this effect was intended but some characters behaviour are just hilarious while the tone and music makes it feel like we are supposed to be feeling sad...

If you remove the rotoscope animation from this... and forget about the 'historical' background, its exactly like any other isekai:

MC gets teleported into a 'fantasy' world and gets everything he needs the moment he needs them, handed to him. In this case, the protagonist, carefree high school student, is seen as a mad genius because the story solves his problems by skipping details, and going directly to the results, without any intervention from the protaonist. Nothing that he does actually solves it, the story solves it.

In this episode case, the last i watched before dropping this 'comedy', we weren't shown how the battle went ... down, we knew they had numerical advantage, but that this protagonist won anyway. We weren't shown how some characters got the info they got, just that they knew about it and told the protagonist, we don't know how the protagonist used it, just that he succeeded into using it... etc. All for MC convenience.

Even when the anime seemed to make it look like a death of someone nearby him affects the MC in the ending, next episode he is the same as usual.

Also, NTR immediately when being teleported to the other world, when he is a nice guy and has a girl immediately fall to him. Even if the circumstances were a bit different, if we reduce to its essence, its basically that.

Another isekai with op character who has to face aboslute no struggle and gets everything handed the exact moment he needs those stuff.

Over looking once again the absurd nature of a middle aged man with his mentality marrying a 12 yrs old, that seems to be inherent to all trashy isekais now a days, which also speak for these authors mind, there is simply no pathos in this story. A simple resolution is just not showing that he remembers from the past world, mainly that is for the viewers anyway as never in these trash isekai the protagonist uses any past knowledge from Earth, ... or uses them with bs magic.

The characters are trash, story is just an adventure of the mc going around being perfect.

Every character has exactly 1 personality behaviour and that goes through for the entirety of the anime. The comedy is the same as in episode 1, even when more characters are added to the recurring pool of characters.

Story is about a wrestler trying to open a pet shop while wearing a dog collar in his neck. The author knows about its absurdity, it is even mocked inside the anime itself. This anime is kinda a comedic parody but with very bad personality for characters and without any comedic depth.

The comedic nature also hurts its progression... nothing ever changes and there are many plot ... inconsistencies overall. A trivial one: who is paying for tickets in an open ring contest in the middle of the town hall.

Tired of animes where any development around the society/other characters happens solely because of the MC's ability. Basically the MC becomes the deus ex machina for the author to use as he pleases to move other characters. In this case, the MC is a genius that can solve you any problem, learn any new type of engines in a matter of seconds and fix those engine problems as well in a matters of seconds with spare parts. Now, many engines function similarly, but the mechanics around them changes depending on many factors and what they are trying to achieve.

Also, they are poor but have ... unlimited fuel to test their inventions or... not test at all and still have something functioning.

(also weight cost doesn't exist in this world)

Another funless anime about OP protagonist... I watched this anime solely because it was in a list of a 'clever protagonist' series, but there is not a hint of him being clever.

For instance, as soon as, instead of the King, some lower nobility duke started to ask about the mecha and their upgrades; with no prior knowledge of his character, there isn't a sligh hint from the protagonist that the duke might just be trying to decieve the king and himself to gain knowledge for him and take it out afterwards on the King with the new arsenal. The MC just assumes the duke ... is going to be the good guy, has never heard of kings being taken out from consipiracy from the other lower nobility, and spells out all the techniques to improve the mechas in an instant. And i am not saying this because the MC needs to protect the King at all, but because what he wanted was stricly related to the King's authority.

The rope technique by weaving threads isn't a 'modern' knowledge, 2000 yrs ago basically almost all civilization knew about it and it is difficult to think that dwarfs that can repair mechas had no idea about it...

The same problem rises over and over, the author tries to convey stuff he has really no knowledge about. Not about mechas, nor about programming. If then there is no knowledge, don't try to show it... Power Rangers don't try to tell you why the robots can make a bigger giant robot, by joining, the authors there don't pretend they have mecahnical knowledge, they just do it with cool visuals.

First season was good, because the main cast was small, except a few ending episodes... and the MC actually was cool and had grit when facing adversity.

Second season is shit. Just Bs and Bs. MC reduced to a no emotion jole, wtih deus ex here and there...

Also you can't just have 4 yes girl in the group and proceed normally in the story, ever 2 sec its 'yes you are brilliant' 'yes gojinsama or whatever' 'oh how right you are' 'oh how good you are' 'oh you don't explain anything, just got the deus plot anyway'... Just gets too annoying. Doesn't also help MC ... fucking and kissing right and left the loli vampire even when the situation doesn't require it or it is actually not a good moment to show it...

Except the final part of the anime, where asspull reigns supreme, Bisco is a great anime with a unique story going for it.

Also very pleasant animation for the eyes, with its unique style.

Character wise, some are cliched characters, tropes seen in many animes, but there are also other unique ones. Bisco, the main character, isn't anything new, but Milo, Tirol and Jabi are. Not fully new, but they have unique characters that seperates from the common mass of the tropes.

Opening and ending ost, great.

The problem with the last part is it seemed the author didn't know what to do with the two main characters. ... Many things that could have been handled a better way, so in the story they would make sense as well, but they were not coherently put together. Also i hate when, for plot reason, they dumb down characters.
