First of all, if you ever find my opinon in the waves of thousands, thank you for stopping by.
It is hard to summarize more than 1000 episodes of an anime with just a few words. The first thing you might notice how much some love and how much same hate One Piece. Well, the reason is simple: it's hard to get into it, get used to it's style, and even after the first big arcs there are still major problems. For example: the pacing is horrible. Seriusly, after the timeskip some episodes real content only takes up about 40% of that episode and
...
they are still slow as hell. This annoys the hell out of some. You can get used to it, just as I mentioned before, it takes a lot of time. And it's a good reason not to watch it! You simple don't have time, which is completely fine.
However, there is a good reason why everyone else love it so much. One Piece isn't about a story. I would say it has a main concept, but with lots of smaller stories and all of them somehow connect in the huge world! After 1100 episodes, it felt like I know the grand line better than my hometown! Same thing with the characters and my neighbours. This anime just sucks you in after a while and everytime when you sit down to watch another episode, it feels like just you've just arrived to your second home.
This is the main reason for me, why I love it so much, not to mention the great and sometimes suprisengly complicated stories, and the fact Oda has a reason for everything in the manga. Not just about the history, the looks of some places/character, even the mechanics, the physics of this gigantic world which awaits you to explore it yourself trough a huge adventure.
Overall: One Piece is the LOTR of anime.

The first big change we see must be how different the animation style is. And personally, I think it's way wosre than what we had in the first season. It might be a lot smoother, but the amount of details we lost because of it, is bigger than what we got. Not to mention how different some characters look in the second season.
Talking about the story, it ain't better. I know the fact very well, this anime never had such an interesting and mind blowing story, but with our cynical "protagonist" with his more realistic thinking, it made this show into a
...
great series to binge watch from time to time. However, they've commited the cardinal sin: he got a bit more bubbly personality. They tried to keep his wannabe gangster image, but now it just feels rude.
Overall: don't watch it, even if you liked the first season.

Honestly, this season was such a letdown after the first one. This anime started out as a wholesome little show, with some adventure and possible love interests here and there. Nothing serius, yet somehow interesting enough to keep me watching it, but the second season started getting rusty, sooner then we thought. The big cliffhanger from the first season just got quickly solved, which wasn't a big suprise, but still kinda annoying. Then our protagonist suddenly dissappeared and we got this dude labeled as a hero (I don't even remember his name). You know it, the typical isekai clishe, except he isn't an
...
a-hole here, which is a relief, but he takes so much screentime, with absolutely no important action, information given or anything that could make those times enjoyable. Even after our long awaited Rio shows up, he is just chatting and having small talks with all the girls suddenly appearing from nowhere. The only bigger and more interesting part at the end is also a huge disappointment.
Huge spoiler ahead: Haruto finally meets again with Flora, she figurates it out that he must be her saviur, but Haruto simply denies it and the princess belives him. Which means this part of season is a complete waste, except that minimal information we finally get about the villians.
To summarize it: this show has never been the most complex and unique one. It is full of clishe, but they somehow made it very enjoyable and wholesome to make someones day a bit more colourful. The colorful part stayed the same, but this time they paired it with boredom and an empty feeling. Not unwatchable, just a bit of disappointment.

Dandadan. This show is crazy. Crazy concept, crazy implementation and crazily good! The plot is crazy enough to be refreshing and new, but not to much, so it won't be ridiculus. The characters aren't over the top, even tho they might act like that, but the lines they say makes them very loveable and relatable. Their opinions, reactions, beliefs are very... realistic? Relateble? I don't even know the right words, it's just great to listen to them, since no words are out of place.
"But, how?" Good question!
Meanwhile the story is about something a lot more absurd thing. They find it just as
...
questionable as we, the viewers do, and all of them are a very down to earth, but so much they refuse to belive what is happening around them.
This balance between this, and the crazy ideas is such a well done job from the author, and not to mention our main characters and their chemistry! Seriusly, it's such a joy watching these two chat, argue and laugh at each other. Even though it's a shounen, Okarun and Ayase aren't something basic. The boy don't want to be a hero, not a fatherless guy, has some hidden powers and afraid of talking to the other gender. The girl isn't someone who needs protection, nor someone who is better than everyone or a fanservice machine.
I might be a little bit biased here, but this anime has a very unique feeling, which I haven't felt in a looong time. Not to mention how crazily good is the animation!
Pros: I've just listed all the pros above! All of these makes Dandadan a great show! Not to mention, it can be funny as well! Not with the typical anime humor, but with something actually entertaining.
Cons: Some "ideas" might disturb you.

By the first look, this anime is probably different than anything you've ever seen in this media. Not a battle shounen, an isekai or an other romcom. This show is on it's own and trying his best to be good in it's category, and most of the time it is succeeding. Chi.: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite has a dark and depressing aura, but not because the directors or writers make it to be. The plot is just simply makes it to be, the first few episodes make it clear, this ain't going to be a joyful anime at all. Maybe because the
...
design of the surrounding area, but it has the similar feeling AoT has. No one is ever "safe", if you could even define what is safety in this world. Our main characters aren't young heroes, who will save everyone, bring world peace, equality, etc. They just belive something differently and thats all what makes them a "threat", and I think this is what makes them non-edgy, like other animes often feel like.
Pros: they don't try to address astronomy like it's something super cool by just talking about it, they will show you why it's interesting and beautiful. No unnecessary talking, ridiculus conclusions, just straight to the point.
Cons: Altough Chi.: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite is a very genuine and commited anime, there are some typical overrating faces (like animes usually have) and it just ruins whole scenes. Also, there is a good chance there, this anime won't be any interesting to you, since the plot is very specific.

Are you looking for a pure action anime, with no CGI and don't really care about anything else? Don you like the fantasy setting but every single show set in a fantasy world is just the basic isekai? Well, this is your lucky day, since this animes strongest point is the animation, which is gorgeus. Nothing else to say, it's just pure beauty. The only problem with is the design of the monsters, and this might change later, but right now every single enemy just looks stupid and not cool neither scary. The world, the story and the characters are nothing special to
...
talk about. Really generic and basic, but not bad or boring. They made it a lot better than that! The world has a it's own history (if you listen closely) the streets are full of people, which makes it feel like and actual town. The characters aren't anything special, but they act like a normal human being and there is no fanservice (so far)! This feels so refreshing in my opinion. These two makes up the basicly copy&paste story, so this shouldn't bother anyone watching this show!
Overall: This anime is worth your time! It may take four or five years to be forgotten forever, since there isn't anything new, but the animation and the fact, how unexpectedly realistic each episode is great and it's been a long time, since I saw anything similar to this.

You will love or hate Vanitas no Karte depending on one thing: do you like the main character AKA Vanitas. This "horroristic", serius and dangerous world with vampires isn't something new, but the simple fact that here we have a lighthead protagonist who don't take things very seriusly at first, but he has an important mission and a complex, deep background. It's somewhat similar to Vash from Trigun. Both have a very strong charisma which will make you remember them forever or you will complitely hate them. Any other character is a strong mid. Not bad, but nothing special to talk about, except
...
the Vampire of the Blue Moon. We know very little about him and I just simply want more. To talk about something else, the main story is trying to be very serius, but our main character makes the anime not to be an other edgy and/or depressed drama.
Cons: as I said, you either love or hate this anime, depending on what you think about the main character.
Overall rating: this show has some very unique ideas for world building, and animation and the action scenes are very well made as well and if you didn't stopped watching it after the first two episodes because of Vanitas, this one should be a great anime for you!

The anime has a rather unique mood. Very melancholic and somewhat depressed, but it's great to see since unlike other shows this anime won't become edgy at all and stays really realistic. This makes he understanding of characters really easy and effective, and if you mix in some beautiful animation you will get one a great and unique anime a man will never forget.
Cons: the story is sometimes really slow, and I mean slow as hell. Also, this isn't the show which will cure your depression or simply give you a happiness boost after a hard day. Altough the plot is interesting at
...
first glance, the evil robots and the rebell of the Ai isn't something we never saw before.
Overall: you should check it out, because there is a good chance this one will be one of your favourits if you like "realistic", sad and very well made animes.
