This is a really great manga. It’s one of the first mangas I read, and I really love the story and the art.

It’s about an arranged marriage between a young girl and a man who is a lot older than her. This is one of my favourite age-gap romance manga. The guy is super respectful about the age gap and the girl makes it interesting for not really caring about it too much. There’s a lot of cute moments that make my heart skip a beat!

The only downside is that it’s so short. I wish it continued so I could read more! But I do ... re-read it now and then.

There are plenty of moments I like about this manga. The art is amazing, and there’s a lot of moments that give me butterflies.

This isn’t really one of my favourite shojo though. Personally, I don’t really like the attitudes of the two main characters. Especially the guy. Whenever the girl gets insecure about their relationship, the guy isn’t very reassuring. He tells her stuff like he doesn’t know if their love will last or if he will still have feelings for her in the future. Some people might like that part of this story, maybe because it feels more realistic, but to me, it just ... doesn’t feel right. It makes me think he doesn’t really love her.

This manga is so good that I am in a major manga-reading slump now. I can’t find anything that is this hilarious, entertaining, or surprising. Takane to Hana is an absolute masterpiece. The banter between Takane and Hana is hilarious and every chapter is shocking, new twists and turns keep popping up and it makes you really want to know what happens next. The comedy makes me laugh every chapter, and it’s not your typical romance. Takane is a rich businessman and Hana is a high school student. She’s not interested in him at all at first but as they get to know each other ... they both develop feelings for one another. The characters are so unique. The mangaka is a real genius. I love it. Best manga I’ve ever read.
