Everyone here has already said everything & explained it much better than I could. But I've just learned MAL reviews need to be a certain length to be published. My real sentiments lie in the final paragraph. It's an incredible coming of age story. I think it's easier to relate to the young adult era of the story more than the child-Punpun part. Atleast for me. The art is amazing as well.
You (probably) will not enjoy this manga. I've dropped it once 4 years ago, so I understand where people are coming from when the reviews say it's not for everyone. Now it's 2023.
