The monogatari series has to be one of most unique and interesting of any anime series (not including fate for obvious reasons.) Everything from the random flashing text, to the monologues that never get boring and everything in-between is near perfection with only a few hiccups throughout the entire series so far. If you like a good mystery/fantasy/action story then this anime is for you 100% And for those of you wondering Bakemonogatari is where you should start the series: don't watch the prequel movies until the end of your monogatari journey. With the introduction out of the way lets start with the story, shall
...
we?
Story:
The story in Bakemonogatari is cut up into 5 main small arcs all directly adapted from the light novels, the arc names are as followed ( no spoilers) Hitagi crab, Mayoi snail, Sugura monkey, Nadako snake and Tsubasa cat. Each arc deals with one character and there iterations with certain curses and... other things. We follow our main lead Koyomi Araragi, a "typical" boy that is a loner for the most part and cant resit helping people if they are in need. He also just so happens to have certain powers he obtained into the prequel story. One day he sees a girl falling slowly down a staircase who seems to have no weight as if she was gliding, he catches her and just like that the first arc and a love interest in the first 2 minutes. The girls name is Senjougahara and she is a very important character in the series as a whole. That is the brief synopsis without spoilers, the arcs are all about Araragi helping different characters and building a sustainable friend group. Seems typical right? but watch then you'll understand just how perfect the plot really is.
10/10
Characters:
For the most part the cast is good, the problem is that most characters don't get much screen time after there designated arc due to the nature of the anime; being adapted from a light novel and all. And while 90% of every episode is just talking as its all very important it really hurts some characters like Sengoku in one of the last arcs as we end up with like 10 minutes of her on screen. However for the time the characters are on screen all of them are unique but not to annoying, have dark stories to tell but its not overdone and really good voice actors and designs. For a arc about a singular character to be good you have to make that character likeable, have a interesting backstory or both. And this is not an easy task by any means however i can safely say Bakemonogatari delivers here with each character having an entirely different story and personality's that are all really mysterious even after Araragi helps them. The characters defiantly get better as you go down the story past Bake but get used to being confused and not knowing characters motives, this isn't a bad thing in fact it shows how well written the story actually is.
8/10
Audio/visuals:
As per tradition i have to address the op's first otherwise I'll get carried away. They are good, and the fact that there is a new op for every arc really makes them so much better. The songs are memorable and fit the main side character in there respected arcs well in both song choice and visuals alike. Really no complaints apart from the second to last arc as i am SICK of it!! Overall really solid set of op's with the first one called "staple staple" being my personal favourite. Now the voice actors are really solid here for the entire cast apart from Sengoku but that's because i cant stand loli voices lol. As for the visuals, they are really, really unique as sometimes a character can go through 5 different art styles in 3 seconds (not a joke) and the visuals are what sets monogatari apart from every other anime out there. Oh and get used to pausing a lot because every few seconds a flash of text directly from the novel flashes on screen and you can actually piece together what happened in the prequal without even watching it through this!! its genuinely amazing how they pulled it of without it getting annoying. And for all my dub scrubs reading, there is no dub so read the text for once :). I cant praise the visuals enough so ill let you formulate your own opinion after watching. It can hurt your eyes on the first few episodes but they quickly stop whining and soak up everything the visuals have to give.
9/10 (because of that stupid op)
Overall:
Confusing, complicated and hard to get into are all valid things to call Monogatari however the more you watch the more of the puzzle gets put together without the show even telling you which is really impressive to pull of for a anime. Just stick with it until nisemonogatai and it will alllll come together. Im not leaving a watch order here as i already have one up so ill leave you instead with a messege
FUCK OP 5

a work of art some might say, a masterly crafted plot with no setbacks. I am of course joking. Or am I.... Brandish, not to be confused with my green haired fictional wife by the name of "Brandish" is about a succubus that kills people be draining them of their suspicious liquid that just so happens to be the stuff guys make in large quantities. The mc here is confusing because technically there's only one the succubus called Twiska but then again there's a Shouta who is actually a grown ass adult that is in the hentai a lot. So I'm going to run with
...
2 mc's. Review time >:)
Story:
The story is as I said before about a succubus called Twiska who goes from town to town doing certain actions to every guy until they fucking die. A fantastic plot I dare say, it just so happens that she really likes Shouta's which is oddly convenient for her because the guy who is trying to kill her transformed himself into a kid just so she would go to him for le succ. I know what you're thinking, this is fucked up, but go watch euphoria and then tell me this is bad. So, she goes to f this kid btw and he turns into the big giga Chad and. outfucks her and saves the town.... 10/10 plot I'm telling you, waiting for the sequel.
4/10
Characters:
There is really only 3 characters that talk, Twiska, shota and Shouta's mother who is litterly dripping for the entire 2 episodes with like 3 mints of screentime. I'm just saying these characters are on par with the straw hats and the fairy tail guild. I wish i could say more but every character's personality is so one sided it's hard to comment on them as a character. Though i do like Twiskas design as it really fits the aesthetic of the hentai unironically. Not much more to add for this section.
Overall:
I won't even comment on the VA's because every hentai has the same it seems. You know what you're going to hear if you have watched any other hentai ever. Its genuinely a good hentai though, and ill let you in on a secret. I found this hentai while look for brandish rule 34 from fairy tail. did you need to know that? no but its free information so shush.

Where do I even begin with Kakegurui, it's a gambling anime with girls who are way wayyyy to invested into it if you know what I'm saying. Now I am by no means complaining about this but if you are a straight woman best to steer clear of this one because you will create an angry twitter thread about it otherwise. People have very mixed opinions with this series, some say the oversexualisation is too much and boycott the anime while others such as me embrace the horny and enjoy the authors hard work like normal people. Sure, a show about gambling and hot women
...
in the wrong circumstances can seem wrong i get that but for the world the series creates it fits the vibe immensely well.
Story:
To summarise, there's a school where the only form of education is gambling and the only kids there are filthy rich. In this school there's a very simple hierarchy; house pets, students, student council members and finally the student council leader. House pets are student that are in debt from gambling and the students are encouraged to treat them as dogs and filth, the students are like the everyday man they could move up the ranks or fall to house pet status, student council are the ones running things in the school (ahem kill la kill) and are top gamblers. Its defiantly a unique premise for an anime and a welcome one at that, and while there is defiantly better gambling anime out there this is by far the most unique one. The Story follows Yumeko Jibami who definitely doesn't get wet over gambling at all... as she fights her way all the way to the top to defeat the student council. This part of the story is meh, but it is what it is.
6/10
Characters:
Most of the characters in this anime are female with the odd exception here and there, this isn't a bad thing, but it would have been nice if some more of the guys where important like the two guys on the student council. Luckily this isn't a bit deterrent being the horny ass individual I am and in fairness the characters are really well written with Yumeko's mystery, Mary's backstory in the prequel called kakegurui twin and the guy I can't remember the name of for my life essentially being a toy for yumeko (mommy). The mains are likable and fun and the student council acts as a great villain and shows just how much power they hold over the students, the dynamic between characters are fantastic and it gives the feeling that the mains actually have a proper end goal that makes actual sense and has some severity behind it. There are a few characters that are a tad over the top like the girl that constantly has a gun and who's whole personality is that she's crazy. Overall, not a bad cast but if you dislike fan Servies you 100% will not enjoy the cast.
7/10
Op/audio/VA's:
This is a MAPPA anime its bound to have a banger soundtrack and ops, and low and behold in this anime it only delivers in the op category. The Ost is possibly the most forgettable thing ever, normally i can remember at least one song from a Ost but i do not remember a single track here which is disappointing. The Voice actors could be better (in the sub because who watches dub), but most characters voice actors do match their characters for the most part. Some of the student council members have the worst voices ever known to man, however. You know that one annoying ass woman who voices every Loli in every comedy anime? it's like listening to her every time the student council is on the screen. The op is really good however, it completely matches the craziness of the world they set up with the lesbian innuendoes and absurdness that the premise of the show is. The track for the op is fantastic and is extremely fitting for the show as a whole. I could go on forever about it but i need to wrap this up so overview time!
6/10
Overveiw:
ill break this into 2 categories because you most likely skipped half the review.
Pros: great op, story premise, atmosphere.
Cons (for some people): fan service, crap voices for some characters, mostly women cast.
thank you for reading!

Fairy tail is in a lot of peoples eyes hot garbage, and while some complaints i fully agree with like Gildarts essentially being shanks but way cooler and the constant plot armour for even tiny side characters. But through all of that Fairy tail is something special to me and a lot of people. The show captivated me from the beginning, the music, characters, fun and emotional scenes, adventures you name it it was special and it forever will be to me. We have to be the single most bullied fanbase in anime right up there with Naruto and sao which just isn't a good
...
place to be but i believe that people hate on fairy tail a little to much and today I'm hoping you'll give the anime a shot.
(BEWARE I AM A FAN BOY BUT IVE TRIRED TO BE UN-BIAS)
Story:
The story consists of dragons, a rich and beautiful world with so much to explore, wars, giant explosive fights, adventure, memorising backstories and most importantly the fairy tail guild which acts as out main character through out all of the story. Throughout every arc there's so much to love and enjoy whether its; character interactions, cool villains, power ups and one piece level backstories such as erza's and Wendy's. Though throughout all of this there's bound to be some negatives since nothing is perfect of course. Some characters never serve any purpose to the plot whatsoever which is of course the main downside of having a large cast. Only about 10 characters in the fairy tail guild are fully utilised in the main 328 episodes. And though the fillers do make these characters feel part of the story and is the main reason you should watch filler its still a bummer that there not really in the main plot. World building is anougher issue that has been fixed in 100 year quest but the main series still struggles with this to a annoying degree. We only really visit a few capitals and some random country sides, this sucks but thankfully the story is so good in general that you really just forget about it.
7/10
Characters:
This anime is the sole reason i absolutely love a great cast of characters. Because even though most side characters don't play a big role in the story often acting as pawns defending while natsu finishes of the bad guy they still all feel alive in this universe and i absolutely adore that i can remember even filler characters at a tiny glance. It proves that Mashima knows how to write great characters but also shows that he cant make them more important. I understand that not every character can be a huge part of the story but in the beginning it really feels like all of fairy tail is connected to the bigger picture somehow. Characters never got annoying apart from that one scene in the final alvaraz empire arc where Juvia somehow didn't die from a lethal wound while simaltainiosly managing to save grey while she was essentially dead. Overall characters are the main focal point around fairy tail and it only makes it better that they all get different outfits each arc which is rare in anime,
10/10
Audio/VA's:
All 26 op's are beautiful, they fully capture what fairy tail is and there the ops that started my addiction to overanalysing every op i come across. Each track and the visuals that go with it are amazing and especially the final op with Acnologia and Natsu's face off with the hopeful yet intense music, as well as seeing the absolute destruction that Acnologia and the spriggen 12 created and the state that our characters are in after the fighting is over. Its poetic and everything about the ops are fantastic except for one... Op 9 can suck my balls. The voice actors are fantastic and I'm not just saying that because i love fairy tail i mean that from a unbiases standpoint. I still find it weird that a main villain in the tartaros arc voices Tadano in Komi but that's just me probably. Every VA never gets old and i can memorize a characters voice in my head and there character with there last name that how good of a match the VA's are.
9/10 (because op 9 sucks)
Overview:
Fairy tail is something that's special to me, i will die on this hill and defend fairy tail till the day i die. It has its floors just like one piece has its own floors and any other anime for that matter but the pros heavily outweigh the cons and i urge you, please give fairy tail a chance. Thank you for reading

Kill la kill, where do I start with this anime. This was one of the most unique, crazy and fantastic anime when it came out, and though I wasn't in the community back when kill la kill dropped I can tell that it left a huge impact on the anime community and really put trigger on the map. I personally love this show for its bouncy animation, great characters and goofy story that somehow manages to grip you from the first episode with that epic intro to the academy in the first 5 minutes. Ill give a brief plot synopsis before we start.
Plot synopsis/story
The
...
story follows Ryouko Matoi, a girl who is looking for the other half of her fathers scissor blade (don't question it) so she moves to Honnouji academy in hopes that the leader Satski would have it. She gets beaten the shit out of and finds a sentient sailor uniform and the story is non stop action and heartfelt moments from there. Ofc there is a main antagonist but that's entering spoiler territory and no one wants that. Oh and that sailor uniform just so happens to be incredibly powerful because of course it is. The story for many people is the one thing that sucks for a lot of people especially as the main threat is clothing which is the least threating thing ever but I think its a welcome change to anime and defiantly stands out in the anime genre as a whole. It would have been appreciated if the villain was a tad more threatening and didn't look like a peacock with the body of Nico Robin and if the story was a tad shorter but great non the less.
8/10
Characters:
Like I say in all my reviews I love a great cast, hell I'm watching one piece just to see Nojiko again because I loved her character so much! And I am once again happy to say that kill la kill has a great range of comedic, badass and everything in-between characters that are incredibly unique. The MC has a tomboy personality and is always looking for a fight and has a strong sense of pride, Satski or Ryouko's rival from the first half of the series has essentially been brainwashed to do her mothers bidding (ahem) and is not afraid to do anything, she would chop someone's head of without a second thought. And the comedic relief character Mako is always funny and every joke and gag lands for the most part. This is just an example of a few characters, its really hard to capture there characters in words as every character has so much going on to progress there arcs and all of it is coherent and well written. People may not like the cast because of rambunctious shouting and monologues which i can understand, and one character does the same thing for 10 episodes and it gets rather stale after a while.
8/10
Music/VA's:
Holy shit. the ost for this anime is the definition of hype and the voice actors fit perfectly for the characters in sub at least, I don't watch dub ew. The main song you'll be jamming out to is "before my body is dry" this'll play every time a fight happens and it never, never gets old. I could watch every sen i soshitsu (finishing move in the show which translates to fiber lost) in that anime thousands of times and never get bored thanks to the animation, overall badassery and that damm song blasting in the background. Ofc if you know me i cant write a review without talking about the op's it like my trademark at this point and let me tell you, kill la kills op's will make you feel something leaning on the side of an orgasmic feeling. GO ONTO YOUTUBE AND WATCH BOTH OP'S NOW. this concludes this segment. I don't see how anyone can dislike the music and VA's here.
10/10
Overall summery:
Kill la kill will surprise you with its quality, characters, music, animation and overall love that went into the project, some may not like this show for those exact reasons however if your looking for a fantastic anime to watch with a great cast and a crazy action packed story then you are in the right place. I also want to note that there's a kill la kill game so if you love the anime you have a brand new story to dive into afterwards. Thank you for reading make sure to share it around.

The summer season of anime has been dubbed "the season of sequels." And call of the night or Yofukashi no Uta is one of the summer amines that isn't a sequel and it delivers in every possible way. Action, stunning visuals, fight scenes, drama: if you love any of these you will most likely love call of the night. However all good things have there critics and this is where peoples main critique is with this anime, the age gap between the two mains especially as the main goal is to make the MC fall in love with a woman that's 20 years older then
...
him (he's 14.) This shouldn't be a big deal because at the end of the day there drawings, however if you don't agree with this then its best to skip over this one.
Story:
The story follows Ko Yamori, a boy who has been detached from society and therefor doesn't attend school, have a social life or have any interest in romance. He went out at night time one night and stumbled across a vampire called nanakuza nanuza; she helps him to enjoy the night time (not in that way.. yet) and that's the basic plot. He goes out with her every night and Ko wants to become a vampire to escape reality, and in order to do that he needs to fall in love with a vampire; see where I'm going here. Its a cute story but can really tug on your heart strings when new characters are introduced. Its defiantly not for everyone but if your looking for a anime to chill and rewind to then your in the right place, its fun enjoyable and has the occasional fight scene that looks great. There is a plot hole that hasn't been covered up in the anime at least and that's Ko's parents not knowing he's not attending school somehow, however that's the only inconsistency the show at least has shown and one easily fixed in the next season.
9/10
Art:
Right of the bat if you like night-time, neon lights and the overall aesthetic then you will adore this anime with every fibre of your being like I did and do. The city this anime takes place in feels magical with all the lights and especially the art style, it makes everything pop that little bit more and its all for the better. Some may not like this style and prefer a cyberpunk or a edo period type thing for example and if that's the case then this anime will burn your reteners because all you will see is beautiful lights and a black sky with two characters on screen at almost all times. The art direction and character designs are great, I personally love Ko's casual look and nanakuza's pure black outfit and that's all you'll really see them in. The shots in this show are stunning and the art director did a great job capturing this world. For the world this anime sets up the art is perfect and the characters add to it in so many great ways.
10/10
Characters:
There are two leads, a couple sides and a main sort of antagonist so far in the first season and each one has a one piece level backstory in terms of emotion apart from the "villain" so far at least. The two mains Ko and Nanakuza have great chemistry and for the first 5 episodes its a laid back chill time with them just vibing together at night time. And for the second half of the show it ups the anti introducing someone who can kill vampires and snitches on Ko to the police for skipping school, a girl the complete opposite of Ko who is his childhood friend, a overworked office worker, and a group of hot vampire milfs that i would let step on me. These characters are all unique in terms of design and personality and are all equally a nice addition to the story even though they don't do much to progress the main plot of Ko falling in love with Nazuna; though I'm sure they will come into play later down the line. I love a good cast and call of the night delivers on this aspect for the most part.
8/10
Music/audio:
I gave this anime 10/10 as soon as the first episode came out for one simple reason, the music. This is the most unique music in a anime since Carole and Tuesday. Imagine lo-fi but mixed with light pop and you have this animes ost, its fun, chill, and 100% fits the world of this anime wit the constant use of night time. I like to call this genre of music "night time vibes" simply because i cant find any music like the music in the anime. This is by far the best aspect of the anime so far at least and to finish it of the op and ed are bangers that have to go on your playlist or I will personally add it for you. I genuinely cant praise the music enough but enough of that or ill be here for years. The overall quality of audio is great and the VA's are fantastic I especially love Nanakuza's voice as it fits her so well and has a very unique voice. The rest of the cast are fine
10/10
Overall:
If you like a good vibe and find yourself wanting a comedy romance then this is for you without a shadow of a doubt. There are almost no drawbacks apart form the one plot hole. I personally love this show but I would recommend the rule of three as always and see if you like it from there onwards. I hope you enjoyed :)

Amongst the very confusing monagatari series timeline nekomonagatari sits just after the events of kizumonagatari and before the events of bakemonagatari. its a confusing series for sure and i would not recommend starting the series here as nothing will make any sense whatsoever to you. Now that the exposition is, its review time.
Story:
The story centres around Hanekawa's character and Araragis relationship with her. This is a darker story with the classic monagatari gore scenes still present and just as shocking. Its a great dive into Hanekawa's character and 100 % worth the watch for a new time watcher especially as its only 4
...
episodes of content. The main plot is that Hanawaka has been cursed by a cat spirit and every year on golden week her cat form or "Hanekawa black" comes out and steals energy from humans. It sounds silly but its a great story with lots of emotional impact and Araragis character is fantastic as a opposite of Hanekawa blacks ideals and as he's a vampire there fight is intense and bloody. Nekomonagatari strives in the uniqueness of the story and the character of Hanekawa and Araragis respectably. Though since this came after Kizumonagatari there are very limited characters to have in the series and for a series that strives on its characters that can get a bit stale every once in a while.
8/10
Characters:
As previously mentioned there's a distinct lack of characters in this show which can be a problem as we spend 90% of the run time with either Araragi or Hanekawa. Monagatari feels off without having Senjougahara as part of the story especially as in Kizumonagatari and nekomonagatari, Hanekawa is seen as the main love interest of Araragi and its weird to see them so close together in this show and not the rest of the series. Though of course its for plot reasons to set up Bakemonagatari so I don't have a big problem with it. Oshino, Shinoubu or (heart under blade) for long and Araragis sisters are all returning characters which first time watchers will appricitact after watching bakemonagatari, kizumonagatari and god forbid nisemonagatari after the toothbrush scene. However for the characters that we do get to see there interactions are fantastic and well written and attempts at comedy almost always lands. We get some awesome character growth and a really badass moment with Araragi.
8/10
Art:
The art in this show is the classic monagatari look with all the flashing images you could ask for albeit a tad dialled back for the sake of saving the viewer from having a epileptic fit. Its worth noting that if you watched Kizumonagatari first this show does not have the same level of quality the movies have, but this doesn't mean its bad by any means. The animation is perfectly fluid with no hiccups in the animation at all. It has the same level of craziness that the rest of the series has which can be a negative for some but personally I love monagatrie's style. There are no flaws in the animation but for first time watchers it can get overwhelming especially because there is no dub to make it easier to follow. For me the art in this show is a solid 9.
9/10
Audio/music:
Music isn't a big focal point around monagatari and it has essentially 1 memorable song being the 4th op of monagatari "renai circulation." I hate that song by the way. But going back to Nekomonagatari, it really doesn't have a memorable soundtrack if I'm honest. The opening is ok and the ost is the definition of ok as well. This doesn't mean the music is annoying or is trash its far from it, its simply very forgettable and mediocre compared to other monagataries such as bake. The audio as a whole is great with the voice actors being incredible and fitting there characters scarily well. its a 7 from me.
7/10
Overview:
Ill finish this of this a watch order so anyone trying to get into the series knows where to start and where to watch this.
Bakemonagatari, Kizumonagatari, Nekomonagatari, Nisemonagatari, Monagatari series: second season, Hanamonagatari, tsukimonogatari, owarimonogatari Season One, koyomimonogatari, Owarimonogatari Season 2, zoku Owarimonogatari.
and as far as I know that's the series so far all in order. If you want the chronological order of things go elsewhere because its a whole other tin of worms. Thank you for reading as I hope you enjoy !

Cyberpunk edge runners was a unexpected masterpiece that everyone initially wrote of due to the lacklustre nature of the game buy the name of cyberpunk 2077. Animated by the studio behind kill la kill and space patrol luluco to name a few this anime nails the visuals as is expected from trigger. One thing to look out for is the fact that the animation while beautiful isn't exactly kill la kill level, trigger dialled the craziness down a little in order for it to feel slightly closer to the vibe of night city. Now that the exposition is out of the way lets get into
...
the review.
Story:
The story is actually cannon to the cyberpunk game in that the game takes place a few years after the events of edgerunners. We follow David, a resident of night city who attends arasakas elite school with the help of his mother working multiple jobs to help David have a solid life and have a nice life. However his mother dies (not a spoiler) and David has a realisation that night city is a horrible place and that arasaka is corrupt. He then gets a special ability that i wont say for spoilers sake and the story chugs on from that point. Its a gritty, gory, brutal and beautiful story that's perfect for the setting of the games universe. The story is fantasist and the villains are even better.
9/10
Characters:
If you have read any of my other reviews you would know that I love a good cast of characters and cyberpunk edgerunners did not disappoint in this category. I found myself getting attached to every character and heavily invested in the backstories and character interactions. And to archive that in only 10 episodes is a tremendous feat without a doubt. And to make it even better the characters have no plot armour rubbish that other anime do every time without fail. I cant really delve into the nitty gritty because that would go into spoiler territory and no one wants that. I can talk a little about the villains of the series however, fans of cyberpunk 2077 will recognize Adam smasher as the primary villain of the anime and a new original character called Faraday voiced by the funny breaking bad guy. Other returning characters such as Falco who is voiceless in game. This is a fantastic cast and unfortunately I don't think we are getting a season 2 due to the state of the characters after the ending.
10/10
Art:
This anime is absolutely gorgeous from start to finish. You can really tell just how much love went into this project from trigger and cd project red. The lighting, visuals and most importantly the animation are all stunning and stand out among any other anime at the moment. This is only made better by the fact that the night city in the game is 1 on 1 with the anime and it makes sure you know with some amazing set pieces and views from the game such as Lucy's house overlooking the rocket launch in the anime which is important for her character and gives cyberpunk fans fan service. The character designs are memorable and make sense for each character and the ascetic of the anime are on par with call of the nights. This amines visuals will blow you away, trust me there's almost no downsides to be had here.
9/10
Music:
The music in this anime will give you depperission and you will never listen to the genre of music again without balling your eyes out. It will hit you in the feels and it weaponizes itself to be impactful and deep every time a song comes on called "I really want to stay at your house." Every other track feels just right for the tone of the series and can vary from rap to mellow to everything in-between, and the best thing about it is that every song in edgerunners can be heard in the game making the connection between to two even stronger and give a sense of fluidity to the show. I'm only rating this category a 8 because the music gave me depperission..
8/10
Overall:

Hello, and welcome to my first manga review on this site (or anywhere)!
Fairy tail is... how do I put it, hated by a lot of people for some valid reasons: and even as a massive fairy tail fan myself I can agree that it has some inconstancies that could hinder the viewing experience for some. However that was the original fairy tail we are talking about 100 year quest now and oh boy is it a upgrade on almost every way. I'm writing this review now because otherwise I would have to wait a few years for the manga to wrap up. However, we
...
have seen enough of what 100 year quest has to offer in order to formulate a review: so without further ado we will now commence the actual review.
Story:
This story is a cannon and direct continuation from the ending of fairy tail. The story here is that team Natsu has to kill, seal or immobilise the 5 dragon gods left around the world in a effort to complete the 100 year quest, and this is where peoples biggest gripe with fairy tail gets completely destroyed, the world building. Throughout the story thus far we have visited more locations then the original fairy tail in just 117 chapters! and the best part is that it doesn't feel forced and the characters introduced are memorable and also are not forced down your throat. The story is always intense and gory at times as well which hasn't been seen since the Erza torture scene from the tartaros arc, this is a welcome change however it will most likely be censored in the upcoming anime adaptation which is unfortunate. The dragon gods actually feel formidable and threating as the main antagonists and especially the moon dragon God who I wont spoil don't worry. Overall 100 year quest fixes almost every inconstancy the original had and added more.
9/10
Characters:
Once again the fairy tail cast is amazing and was the main thing that made fairy tail my favourite anime in the first place. Every character new and old is exiting and enjoyable to watch interact with each other. One big thing I really appreciate is the focus on Wendy's character and her growth as both a dragon slayer and a person. She has the help of Irene or Erza's mother if you forgot, and this gives her new powers as well as something absolutely massive which i cant say for spoilers sake. We even get to see Edolas again after so many years which was fantastic both as fanservis and as a genuine connection to yet another world called Elentir. Oh and Gajeel and Levy have big surprise for an fairy tail fan ;). Great villains, the main cast is more enjoyable then ever and that classic fanservise that fans love is all still here.
10/10
Enjoyability:
This is a touchy subject especially as most people have completely written of fairy tail as a "poor mans one piece." This may seem a tab bias as I am the biggest fairy tail nerd there is only earth currently but 100 year quest is way better then og fairy tail so far, its a big statement but I genuinely mean it. And as much as I still love og fairy tail, 100 year quest outshines it in everyway. However yo udo need to watch fairy tail or read it before this or you will not understand anything. I genuinely believe that even non fairy tail fans will absolutely adore this manga. Werther it be new transformations or destroying a exceed fused with a human, 100 year quest is fantastic from start to not yet finish.

Dr stone Ryuusui is fantastic and a great continuation from stone wars. This 55min cannon special will make you fall back in love with the series again if you haven't already that is.
Story:
The story can be summed up in two words, charming and fun. Basically Senku and the gang want to solve the petrification, but in order to do that they have to travel across the world. However they also need a captin to sail the ship that they are building, thus Ryuusui is revived (Japan's most rich and knowledge ship captin before the petrification.) Its a great story and while theres no real
...
threat its still very enjoyable to watch.

Art:
Im going to keep this short and sweet, the art is fantastic as always. Classic dr stone animation and the new clothing seen around half way through and Ryuusui's design is charming. Great all round.
9/10
Sound:
Once again sound quality is perfectly fine with Ryuusui's VA nailing his witty and cunning character. Other VA's remain the same which is nice and a remasterd version of the first op was used as the op. No gripes with sound at all near perfection. Also the sound effects are great and lip synchronization wasnt a proublem at all.
8/10
Characters :
Characters can make or break a show, as for Dr stone? They make it. Im a sucker for shows with a vast cast of characters as it can be extremely entertaining watching them interact with each other and create memerable moments. And oh boy does dr stone nail it on the head once again with the same loveable characters and the new Tsukasa army. Worth watching simply for the well crafted characters alone. However I wish more characters got some screentime as that was a tad bit dissapointing.
9/10
Enjoyment:
This series is a blast, from the very beginning to the war, all of it is fun and enjoyable and thats no exeption in Ryuusui. Funny moments some great character interactions and a new character to spice it up all leads to a great 55 mins and a new piece of dr stone while we wait for season 3 next year. Obviously you wont enoy it uf you haven't watched the main series and I would stongly advise you to watch the first two seasons before this. Better pacing would have been appriciated however thers only so much you can do in 55 mins
9/10
Overall i score Dr stone: Ryuusui a great 9/10
