If I had to describe this anime, it would be overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's quite enjoyable but I feel as if people are overhyping it.

It's similar to last season's Bofuri (incidentally, same studio) where the story is quite generic but it was somehow thought to be extra funny that the character was OP. In this case, Catarina AKA Bakarina is ultra dense and while that is funny at times, it goes overboard.

The character is just plain stupid and the whole story goal of "avoiding the doom flag" seems kinda pointless since it should be obvious from the start that she already has ... avoided it. I mean, she could have simply not got in the way of any relationship and everything would have worked out.

TLDR, it feels kinda forced that she doesn't realize the doom has been avoided. I would prefer if there were actual obstacles on her way to avoid her doom.

On the flip side, the characters (except Mary) were quite interesting and each had their own backstories and personalities which were explored throughout the show. The reason Mary is annoying is because her obsession with Bakarina is well, annoying. She even tries to get in the way of her fiancée just because she wants her for herself.


Overall, a decent show with some flaws but many fun moments.

I hope in Season 2, they can at least have a good story or at least focus more on the relationships between the characters, an area which was largely left out especially in the second half

This anime is about a poorly executed OP MC who "because she doesn't want to get hurt in a Freaking VR GAME!", decides to put all her points in defence to not get hurt. Why not just turn down the pain settings in the menu like every other VRMMO in anime? I don't know.

The main problem I have is that in Isekai/fantasy, there's always a special power or plot device that allows the character to be OP or at least they turn it into a fun gag like One Punch Man.

This is a video game so none of that should be happening. The ... show tries to go for the cute girls doing cute things but this fails because they do everyday RPG tasks like hunting, looting, exploring and even BOSS fights. If this is the case, they should at least explain her strength or make her BEATABLE (yes, she's unbeatable because of "reasons") but instead she gets more OP by the day. It's basically cheating.

The devs nerf her SLIGHTLY but still leave her with a one-hit KO attack (even with 0 points in any other category including attack power) TEN TIMES a day, and she still doesn't take damage which makes no sense. On top of that. she's immune to poison after 3 minutes against a poison dragon which again is idiotic because then everyone would be immune to poison. Oh, and I forgot to mention that she eats the dragon because she has no weapons. Cringy but whatever. Also, she manages to die against a boss that was designed to be unbeatable, but she manages to gain a skill that revives her at full equipment with 1 health and beats the dragon. Do the devs change that? NO!

To top it all off, the devs (who by the way can change her at any time because, you know, they're Devs) decide not to nerf her any further and "give up" but at the same time prevent anybody from ever getting her skills by doing what she did. Unfair as heck

The sad thing is that the other characters are interesting and not too overpowered and don't do stupid/broken attacks. If the MC was removed, the show would be a lot more interesting.

TL;DR. Don't watch it if you're annoyed when those hackers in video games have cheating abilities and the admins do nothing

This anime is a masterpiece. I have always liked Space exploration anime but this adds a layer of mystery. Not to mention, the characters are great. They each have their own personal backstories making it very enjoyable.

I honestly can't wait for more episodes. I am also saddened that it's only 12 episodes but most masterpieces are like that

The story is quite unique but simple. There are no complicated plot points like a lot of space/sci-fi anime making it enjoyable to anybody


Without spoiling it, the cast are a group of kids on a school trip to SPACE and get teleported away by some mysterious ball. They ... somehow manage to find a spaceship (Another mystery) and now are planning to return home. The only issue is that they know that there must be someone who planned and need to find out who it is before they try to kill them again




TLDR, I recommend the heck out of this
