I liked it and I don't get why people hate on it. Drawings are cute and story is fine. Reading a middle school romance was a weird but fun experience. The couple are also compatible with each other. They are pure innocents and just starting to see what life is like, and having each other besides themselves is pretty cute. I hope they get married in the lore afterwards. I actually wanted to see a chapter where it shows 10-12 years later to really conclude the story, but it's okay. The only drawback would be that MMC sometimes freaks out too much or freaks out ... for so little. But I guess it does really happen in real life middle schoolers as well, so it didn't bother me that much. It's an 8 for me but I'd rate it 7 objectively.
