If you enjoy the Isekai genre but dislike the stereotypical aspects, this one may be for you. Instead of Earth to a fantasy world, the main character goes from one fantasy world to another. There is no real harem (one love interest between mc), almost no explicitly ecchi fanservice, and although the mc is overpowered, it doesn't keep him from being too bland.

This anime is generally wholesome, but there may be some dark aspects to it, but for this season, only one episode got dark, if this gets another season, there'd definitely be another.

If you liked the source material, then this is a ... pretty good adaptation, not straying from the plot, with minimal character redesigns.

I think this anime was made too short. Each episode is roughly about 2 minutes long. Having read the manga, it could go on for much longer, kind of like what was done with Lucky Star, having a large conglomeration of short stories per episode instead of having about 3-5 each.

I love the characters and the character designs, so having longer episodes would really help build up the characters. In the manga, even though each story is short, eventually they start to intertwine into a larger story and eventually starts to get even more fleshed out, so it doesn't really work with this format of ... having 2 minute episodes.

This was horribly botched and the anime has sucked the life out of the series.

This is another power fantasy, but that isn’t what I feel are the problems of this anime. I like this series very much, but this anime is terrible, and here’s why.

Every episode is basically a synopsis of what happens in the manga and novel. If you want a good experience with this series, just don’t watch the anime.

Pros:
You get a really quick synopsis of what the series is about.

Cons:
... Plot hole galore

The same “Comedy” scenes that bring life to the characters in the manga feel absolutely soulless and by removing the Chibi-fied characters, it just makes the characters feel really annoying.

If you had read the manga or novel (which also include illustrations occasionally), you’d see a relatively minor character and ask who that character is because they are entirely redesigned.

The story moves at like 6-8 chapters per episode, which is way too fast. It’s basically a slideshow of the main story with briefly animated sections that explain what’s going on.


So in conclusion:
If you like the manga or novel, just stick to reading them
If you want to get into the series, never watch this anime unless you want to see just how dirty they did this series.
