You know the funniest part for me watching this anime? I had caught up to the latest chapters of reading the manga and I knew there were only a few chapters left. So I decided to give the adaptation a try, to see if they didn't butcher it.
O_O I loved it. It was an excellent adaptation, the colours and the animation MWAH. And ofcourse, the voice acting cast as always, otsukare sama ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU.
And then it happened, THEN I skimmed through the anime, fast forwarding and just seeing certain moments. The progression of the anime was too quick, way too quick, but it was
...
fine. Then I reached the last episode. "Huh? I don't remember seeing this in the manga.... let me just skim to the 20th minute and then quit and check." Now stick with me, it had been a while since I read the manga so I reread the manga again to see where the anime left it.....
.......
.......
BRUHHHHH I HAD WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE AND GOT SPOILED FOR THE ENDING OF THE MANGA WHHAAAAATT??? HOWWW????? I couldn't believe my eyes. I was just plain disappointed. I had been backstabbed, waterboarded, starved to near death, then fed with grease and fattened up only to be slaughtered like a pig and served to the wolves. It still hurts to this day, in my next reincarnation as a trash can.
Thanks for reading my story. Until next time.
(P.S If you want to read the manga for the full story, I recommend not watching the last few episodes, just go and read the manga, Hagiwara Daisuke sensei has put a lot of effort into it.)

"NANTO UTSUKUSHI ANIME DESU? MOTTO MOTTO SUGOI"
-A blind and deaf man having lost his taste buds
Wow, this anime is amazing. The plot is unlike any I have seen so far. The pacing is splendid, the characters are just too well defined and well done, like Gordon Ramsay's steak. It is just fascinating to watch this anime I WANT MOREEE I WANT MOREEEEE.
The main character is so mysterious, he has such realistic and well-formed dialogues and interactions with people and other characters support him by saying only one word "Ray-Kun! You're so strong Iyaahh undress me and push me down" *Ahem* I may have gotten
...
a bit too far there. Umm, anyways, the story is just so damn interesting, it has me RAPT and not a single moment have I closed my eyes in pain and had my nerves pricked with needles, definitely not.
Everyone should give this anime a try, its the most saikyou experience, I guarantee that after watching this all of you will have become war hardened veterans.
I give this anime a solid 11/10.
Thanks for reading my review.
(P.S. Its all sarcasm, THE ONLY GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS ANIME ARE ITS OP AND ED and the transition into them. Only reason I gave it a 2 at all)

NOW THIS, this is straight up my alley. An anime about guys fumbling about clumsily but recovering themselves with their coolness? Kakkoi ne? Waving at someone and turns out they were waving to someone behind you and you just play it off, NOW WHO HASN'T BEEN IN THAT SITUATION AND DON'T LIE TO ME, HOW MANY OF YOU SHRUNK BACK IN EMBARRASSMENT AND WANTED TO CRAWL UNDER THE TABLE AND STRANGLE YOURSELVES HMM?
Well, hahaha. This anime is all that but instead of hiding their face into their arms they come up with a great way to pretend they were doing something else ("I was
...
just stretching my hand") and play it off to preserve their reputation (or so they think they succeeded) despite having been embarrassed. And it comes in delectable lengths of 11 minutes per episode?
SIGN ME UP.
We are introduced to our cast of characters, normal decent members of society, going about their daily lives, all with their relatable human quirks and worries.
What I really liked about the anime was how they all met each other and became connected throughout the episodes (I love progress) , with the cafe serving as their main hub. I love the dialogue as well as it isn't anime-esque at all, you get the feel that actual humans are talking.
Its a really neat slice of life which will brighten up anyone's day and has a nice pace and amazing opening and ending songs ( Man I was surprised to hear Mafumafu XD)
Though it does start getting a bit reptitive, I like seeing each of them grow and appreciate their quirks and learn to accept themselves as they are.
Though this anime isn't finished I like the way its going and would certainly like another season!
Its a really wholesome anime perfect for taking a break from any brain destroying, stress inducing, rage busting anime.
I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to take it slow!

"We are wolves and as wolves we put our prides on the line."
-A rich man inspiring a confused homeless man to steal food
(Minor spoilers)
This anime has all the traits of a good anime, over the top (and mainly sexual) comedy, the typical plots and absolutely annoying characters who add no depth to the show but serve as only plot points to harass the main character or use as filler for the show and the main character who is mostly misunderstood as noone even pays attention to what he is saying (This sentence was sarcasm by the way).
The fanservice added to the flames and made it
...
into a dumpster fire making me watch the whole thing in twice the speed (which you shouldn't do, please watch things at normal speed and take it in second by second) Occasionally the comedy made me laugh, as it reminded me of watching such anime in my younger days when I first discovered anime and accepted everything, but age makes a man grow wise, and wise I have become (not really).
SHIKASHI, THIS ANIME HAS AWESOME FIGHTING and a really unique concept around it which I reallly liked and kept me intrigued in the show, but the intervals in between each fight scene were really trivial and made me bored. I JUST WANNA SEE THEM FIGHT. The ideas for the places of Bento fighting, the gangs involved and all is really interesting but not utilized properly. I was intrigued by the pool Bento fight too which was a cool idea, however overshadowed by the usual anime sexual innuendos and comedy (Mattaku, they just can't do without those can they? XD)
Anyways, this anime has a really cool concept but not a good story and has your over the top sexual comedy so I could recommend this anime only talking about these aspects.
Ja ne! Thanks for reading my review!

"MAN I LOVE KINGDOM."
-Sun Tzu
People are sleeping on this gem of a story and now that my eyes have been opened to this anime by my brother Lion_Sin, I am here to preach.
When I began watching this at first I was a young spoiled brat who knew nothing of the world. "Ah nani kore wa? Gomi desu ka? Kimochi warui. What the heck is this 3D mannequin looking anime?"
Alas, I was stabbed, kidnapped and taken through a rollercoaster, dropped in between only to be caught in a pyramid scheme and finding out it
...
was run by my brother Lion_Sin who smacked my insolent butt and laughed at my ignorance. My whole world changed. Now I am a reformed young gentleman with a big pp and a 160 IQ gigabrain.
FIRSTLY, IGNORE THE ANIMATION, IT GETS SO MUCH BETTER LATER. One of the biggest hurdles to entering this show is its animation and the length of its first episode. However you must drill this into your brains, there is no beauty without struggle. I normally never state this so get it into your heads about how great of an anime series this must be. I am ready to play the villain and harrass all my friends with curses until they give it a try and then I know they will shower me with praises as I did to my brother.
It has been such a long time since another anime has made me love the medium truly with my heart and soul and made me obsessed with it. That youthfulness of mine returned whence I was 15 and binged 3 or 4 anime a day. I binged the entirety of the kingdom series day in and out over the span of 4 days. I crave for more. WHY CANT SEASON 5 COME ALREADY OH MY LAWDD. Its been hard to cope after finishing the series yet I feel such jubilation and ecstasy that I could compare it with the quote "It is better to have loved and lost than to have not loved at all."
There has been no other anime like kingdom which portrays war in such a thrilling fashion. The generals and their stories and their duels are so bloody thrilling to watch and they have me at the edge of my seat the whole dang time. It represents the romance of the 3 kingdoms in an entertaining fashion to its audience.
It is a must watch for all shounen and the like anime fans out there. This is it.
This is peak pillar in anime.

Minor spoilers:
I finished watching this movie at 3am in the night and suddenly got up from bed and felt motivated and uplifted about life. I kept beating myself up about mistakes I made in my life and felt everday to be monotonous and useless, but after watching this movie I reminded myself that life has so much more than just surviving the day and getting on with it. I really liked this movie and I loved it when Josee said that even though Tsuneo might have lost his angel wings, he still had wings in his heart. Humanity always comes first before anything. Also I
...
was pleasantly surprised to find Eve's songs in this movie, Eve's songs are such a blast to listen to and made the movie even more enjoyable. I hated when Mai just turned up at Josee's place to say harsh things. Anime never ceases to encourage and amaze me :)

A few spoilers (name mentions)
When I first watched Black Clover back in 2017, I wasn't that interested in the story as I saw it as just another shounen, and I was right, there was the main character training himself to become the wizard king and he was loud and obnoxious(which I really hated) but I still kept watching, feeling somewhere that it would get better. But eventually I dropped it at around episode 46, as it was getting boring and I had a lot of work coming my way.
I was sure I would never come back and watch this anime.
However, my brother kept nagging me
...
to give it a chance, for 2 years, and when I finally got a break from life, I gave it a try again, ignoring all the bad aspects of the anime, (slow plot, just decent characters, animation etc.) and ploughed through another 20 or so episodes.
I have to say this.
I'm glad I listened to my brother.
Black clover had such a slow buildup that I didn't even realise it was a buildup till we got to the actual drop, and that drop dropped me from so far high up and I kept falling and falling and fell so hard in love with this show. Asta became from that obnoxious, loud and annoying brat to one I looked forward to and whenever Yami had screentime I would squeal in excitement. Yami is my number one character in this show. I LOVE HIM. HE IS BEST BOI from the very start, which was the only thing which gave black clover some grace in the early episodes, he single handedly carried the show, and that's a huge compliment. Gosh, I just loved the character growth, which is refreshing to see and the story just became so GOOD. I just lost it at the elves arc, and it only got better from there. That changed my whole opinion of black clover. Anyways I loved this show a lot, though here and there it was meh , but the quality rose so high that I had to forgive the beginning comparatively trash episodes.
I was hooked to the show and felt alive with the characters, and was super invested in the story.
Black Clover was one of those shows that I put on hold because of bundled up work and then felt really reluctant to get back to because of its average plot and characters. I thought it couldn't surpass itself in progressing the main plot or developing the story/characters, however it managed to take me by surprise, that it turned me into a massive fan. Waiting for more Yami and the crew.
Come on, make more episodes!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!
