Similar “seeming infidelity” setup where there’s more than meets the eye. Both decent mysteries that are a fun read.

Both shows revolve around people with abilities fighting against a godly figure to fix a dystopian society. Cool worldbuilding and the same style of fanservice + action. Soundtracks are extremely similar too, and give both shows a very super hero-y badass feel.

Both have alternate versions of a major city coexisting with their real counterparts, with the alternate versions containing characters of myth, like vampires (Altus Paris) in Vanitas and Dragons (Reverse London) in Burn the Witch.

Wacky cast in an urban setting that revolves around normal people being unaware of forces acting in the shadows (ability users in BSD and vampires in Vanitas). Dazai reminds me of Vanitas too in how they're both hella goofy but have serious demeanors when it counts and have backstories that are mysterious and misleading compared to their current state.

Both of them rely heavily of non-linear story telling, and it's really really confusing at first. It all makes sense in the end in some way or another. Really confusing and complex situations all lead to one climax where everything comes together.

Both shows take place in a "wack" version of a metropolitan city, with an incredibly vibrant color palate. They both have amazing looking fight scenes, and swanky OSTs reminiscent of the jazz/funk vibes not often seen in anime.

Both shows have a very very similar art style and have a pretty cutesy outlook to them. While Tonikaku Kawaii revolves around just one couple, Tsurezure children bounces around. The vibe is the same though, and we get a lot of cute moments that makes u smile.
