I don't really get why this manga has such a low rating. I will just state my opinion regarding this work.
This is a typical gore anime with an okayish story that does not get boring (it only has 13 chapters). In the manga you will see all the mainstream stuff regarding gore (disturbing scenes, weird behaviour etc.) which I really enjoy (and basically anyone who decides to start reading gore manga enjoys afterall...).
The story starts slow, building up the characters but after the first half it goes quite fast and finishes early, but in a nice note (meaning it has a proper ending). Almost all
...
the characters are children (duh) and ofcourse their behaviour is childish. They are doing what they are taught to do and this is depicted very nicely and gory in the manga. The main character is interesting and it basically closes the cycle of events that are taking place there. Sure, the villain might have "childish" motives but it still is pretty entertaining.
Overall, this is an above average gore manga. If you want to read something gory and actually see a pretty decent story you should definitely read it. If you re here purely for the story and character development, ofcourse you are in the wrong place. I would have given it even a higher score if it wasn't for the somewhat rushed ending.

God, what a disaster of a second season. The first one was actually really nice and especially the first half making it one of the better isekais out there. However, the second season came and they butchered it.
The main villain is fucking annoying, his voice is annoying, his justification of doing bad things is that of a 5 year old. Furthermore, he is overpowered, but one of the most useless characters in the series (girl with green hair) manages to take him down single handedly (???).
This girl is also annoying. If you re going to be a crybaby character, sure that's fine with me. But
...
for the love of god don't just make her able to fight and defeat the main villain in a matter of seconds and somehow also changing her character by saying cool stuff that only Naofumi should be allowed to say just because her friends are down. For fucks sake. The villain single handedly took down 3 OF THE 4 CARDINAL HEROES but cannot kill a character that just learned how to use a fucking sword. What a joke.
Suddenly, our heroes are able to travel to other worlds, save a girl who has been trapped for god knows how many years in a prison, in just a day. Lots of shit happening not making any sense.
I am really sad of how this anime turned out. From one of the best isekais it managed to become a generic nakama power isekai. The main reason I scored it as a 5 is because of Naofumi. Dude tried to carry the season, but unfortunately didn't manage it to make it at least an enjoyable anime. The only reason I didn't drop it was because i just wanted to see how the story continues. If the story keeps evolving like this I will just drop season 3.

Sports anime are great, aren't they? Blue lock is not an exception. I never imagined i would enjoy watching football since i don't really enjoy watching it irl.
Blue lock is your usual above decent sport anime. It has the ok story, the strong moments (goosebumps or sad) and it keeps you entertained throughout the whole show (up until now at least).
It also deviates from other sport anime (e.g. kuroko or haikyu) in the sense that it does not focus so much in team power but rather in individual skills which is a nice new catch in my opinion. "We can do it together if
...
we all try" does not really apply in this anime. The plot is also quite interesting but not something extraordinary.
Surely, it is not as realistic as some people would like to, but lets be honest. If you want to watch realistic football go watch live football or something. The anime focuses only on one position and wants to emphasize the fact that by producing the player that can master this position can lead his team to victory. Interesting concept? Yes. Realistic concept? Maybe yes, maybe no but Who cares?
The animation when the match is played is unfortunately (like in many new other anime) CGI, which makes it a bit (to very) ugly. However, the anime does not focus that much on the actual match but rather on individual thinking and decisions of the players. Therefore, the scenes with CGI are not that frequent. However, putting CGI in a sports anime, which is de facto a genre of anime that is based on motion, is wrong in my view.
Overall, it is a great new sports anime and does the job very good and interestingly so far.

Someone had to speak about this amazingly overrated show, so here I am.
I really do not understand why everyone is like "JoJo iS tHe BeSt AnImE OuT tHeRe, JoTaRo BeSt PrOtAgOnIsT" and so on. So I decided to watch it. Guess what. It is far from being a great show, let alone a masterpiece. The hype is unjustified just like many other shows (see aot).
I will focus on part 3 season 1 since I am writing the review here. Part 1 is weak, part 2 is better and you go to part 3 with the idea that it will keep getting better. You'd
...
be surprised to learn than at best is the same as part 1 or maybe even worse. Let me elaborate.
You have a main character full of muscles who in his path to find his enemy that he will not ever forgive for what he did to his family, finds more muscle men and befriends them while beating other muscle men. That's the whole story basically. There is nothing more to the plot.
Stands are something new that they are introduced in this part and differs from the previous parts of how the fights are taking place. This is not necessarily bad, it is a new catch. So someone would go see the anime also for the fights (since it is a shounen anime after all). I will try to portrait a casual fight. Jotaro finds a bad guy. Bad guy does his tricks. Jotaro somehow overcomes the stand of the bad guy. Jotaro oraoraoraoraoras the bad guy beyond recovery. This is how (almost) every fight takes place.
I dont remember exactly but it's during the first episodes of the season that we see his stand catching a bullet fired from a gun. So someone would imagine that his stand is fucking fast as fuck boi. Guess what. Its speed is never mentioned again during the season and you can see fights that he could easily overpower the enemy because he can literally catch a bullet, but he never does it again, so the fight keeps going on just for the sake of arriving at more build up oras. There are occasions that the bad guy LITERALLY tells him what the ability of his stand is (????) Some fights are explained like 1+1 =2 , others like 58493+73829 =132322 and others as 1+1 = 3. Yeah, there are some fights which do not make sense. The ability of the stand is like very well described and something trivial happens and the next scene is jotaro oraing the bad guy to death.
Do you happen to look for an anime with the best villains? Yeah, keep looking, you re in the wrong place. In season 1 I cannot remember even 1 bad guy. In every 1 or 2 episodes a new villain is introduced with a stand ability beyond your wildest imaginations but the muscle men always beat them. There is nothing memorable about them.
You are still wondering then why I still gave it a 6 despite shitting on it the whole review. Well, its a shounen anime (which I enjoy watching in general) and as I mentioned above some fights are really nice. The colours also are very pretty and the colors during battles which change give a nice vibe. But the real reason I do not go below 6 is because Joseph is there and somehow manages to provide some enjoyment to the show.
The Jojo franchise is overrated as fuck but indeed has some good parts. Part 3 (and especially season 1) is definitely not one of them. People saying that they like part 3 because of the story (??) or the plot (??) are either mindless jojo fanboys or they really like mediocre shows.
