Yikes. What have we got here? A jumbled mess of excessive and unneeded gore, unfunny comedy, and completely not scary horror.
The plot is…. ok so actually there isn’t a plot and there isn’t even a story, not even a premise. It is just a bunch of girls acting completely normal and goofing off during a zombie apocalypse. If there was more too the plot then I would write more but that is the entire plot so this is just going to be short.
The characters have out of the ordinary and nonsensical reactions. If you saw a zombie you would run away and hide right? Nope,
...
instead Sumio and Momomura just film the zombies. Why do the zombies not attack them but kill every other character? Because the camera man always survives I guess. But it never gets explained why the zombies don’t attack them. They don’t even give a rats ass about the other students getting killed at school. They just go “OMGGGG! SO COOL!” Yikes..
Nothing important happens. There isn’t really a beginning or an ending. The plot is barely there and nothing is explained. Just a straight up waste of 41 minutes. Don’t watch this when you could be watching an actual good zombie school anime like School-Live, which correctly does gore, comedy, and horror. Anyways, do NOT watch this if your expecting something meaningful, scary, or funny. Literally nothing happens the entire time.

My first ever review on a short film guys.
Story: 4/10
The plot is lacking originality but it is not that bad compared to other unoriginal anime/donghua. It is about a girl named Alita who is half dragon and half human. Dragons have been terrorizing humans so humans look down on her and want to hunt her down. It’s five minutes though so the plot is kind of rushed and unclear at times.
Animation: 7/10
For a short film, the animation and art style are both simple and nice. And well, this entire short film is just an animation test. Not bad for someone who is new
...
to animating.
Characters: 5/10
There is pretty much only one character the film focuses on, Alita as a matter of course who is a typical valorous and smug independent female protagonist. She is half dragon but human at heart and she will defend herself and other people around her.
Sound: 5/10
There is really no soundtrack but the sound effects are good and that is it.
In the end, it is just an animation test with decent animation and a fine story. It isn’t awful and it has potential but overall it is un memorable and unoriginal. Not as bad as some other short films on here though.

I know i’m gonna get hate for this but.. this is definitely the most overhyped anime of 2022. I mean 8.74, seriously? How did this heaping pile of trash surpass so many other good shows? I won’t go into that though since this is a review and not a rant so let’s continue.
Plot: A spy who goes on a mission has to adopt a child and get married as part of the plan. And he can’t let them know it’s part of his mission. Predictable and lackluster. Just another anime where some grumpy fool adopts a little girl. Definitely haven’t seen other animes with
...
that premise used a million times!! If your looking for a anime with a consequential plot I wouldn’t say this is the right show for you, let me explain why.
Characters: Loid forger, Yor forger and Anya forger are the mcs of this show. Loid is a cold and serious smart man while anya is very kind, goofy, and kawaii!! Totally haven’t seen an anime with two opposite characters having to live together and learn how to get along with each other. Totally not generic.. Yor is also aloof and cold, she doesn’t really add to any of the story. She pretty much is just there for the sake of it. She is always having to save loid and anya but nothing else really happens with her. She’s a pretty wearisome and bland character.
Comedy: This label is misleading, it was labeled as a comedy. Not one scene got a laugh out of me, not even a single smile and the jokes were all platitudinous. Maybe slightly funny at first but then they used the same joke fifty more times. For example, anya is obsessed with peanuts and the peanut obsession gets brought up every episode and it gets tiring and the comedy just dies down. And anya being dumb is not funny or cute. And Lood and Yor aren’t even funny. It’s like for example Loid kicks a criminal in the balls and your supposed to laugh at that..and it happens in every episode, it’s so uproarious when they beat the criminal hahaha!!
Action: Not one slightest bit of the action or fighting was pragmatic, Yor and Loid are op, neither of them ever get damaged or beaten in a baggle because they are typical shounen protagonists of course. And the fight scenes don’t even last for a long time, maybe like 5 minutes, and the fights are just so bland. When I heard my friends talking about this show having good fight scenes I expected it to be like My Hero Academia but instead it’s just slothful animated fights with no meaningful exceptions. This show is not an action, just another misleading and unnecessary label.
Conclusion: Nothing really special about this anime other than the character designs and the animation being okay. But overall a bland anime with unexciting action and dull and generic characters and a premise that we’ve seen get used a million times. The soundtrack is also unremarkably stupid and ridiculous. Just not worthwile and a complete waste of 4.8 hours of your life. If you like this anime then that’s good, i’m just explaining my opinion on it and giving it some criticism.

This show is lacking of storytelling and originality. The plot moves slowly and the characters are extremely uninteresting and not written very well. It’s a shame this show was a trainwreck because the visuals and ost made it look promising.
Assault Lily is a yuri bait anime that is clearly stealing from Madoka .It’s literally so obvious with the personalities of the characters and especially the character designs. Happy pink haired girl with mysterious dark purple haired girl? Nope! Never seen that before….. sarcasm.
Ok now lets get on with the review and talk about why this show is a heaping pile of unwatchable garbage.
I have
...
fallen asleep not once, but twice while watching Assault Lily. While the action scenes are animated well. They almost barely last for five minutes. The dramatic scenes last even shorter than the action scenes. Character dies? Five second speech about how they will be remembered and that is pretty much it. Character just has something shocking that happened to them and we weren’t expecting it? Explains it for one minute and showcases it for barely more than a minute and then it doesn’t get brought up again. It’s also like how there are some pretty cool weapons that the characters have but they only use them like once or twice? What the Hell? This show is pretty boring… now lets get on with the characters.
So, the main character really has no development or redeeming qualities throughout the entire show. She literally does nothing heroic but she is the hero of the story….? Riri starts off as clumsy and immature and is usually seen getting in the way of many things. She always gets attacked by a Huge and needs to be saved by one of her friends. Sure, this is normal for a character for like maybe five episodes before they start to develop and change and become more mature but nope Riri stays the same. She literally doesn’t even fight the Huge at the end and all she does is get help.
Now onto Yuyu, yikes… of course they had to rip-off Homura and Zero Two and combine them into one character. She starts off as cold and edgy and hates Riri but starts to get used to her and respects her but she doesn’t really care about anyone else..? Yeah, stays the same at the end.
The rest of the characters were all just horny for Riri and kept fighting over her. It wasn’t funny at all. Of course there’s typical new girl who gets crowded by a bunch of perverts. But what can I say? Assault Lily is not original and it clearly shows.
As for the plot, the premise of young magical girls fighting mysterious beings is so overused. The girls use weapons called charms to fight a mysterious species that came to earth fifty years ago. How did the Huge start? Well…that’s not even explained.. They pretty much just are aliens that show up out of the blue and shit isn’t explained. The biggest flaw was not explaining why all this stuff is happening in the first place. And of course it’s the akward extroverted girl who meets mysterious aloof girl trope.
The music in the show was pretty good, and the ending was one of the best eds I have ever listened to. It really gave off a mystical fantasy feel. The op is also good but not as good as the ed.
The animation is good. I was satisfied with the cgi and the action scenes were very smooth.
Assault Lily is not very good. If you want to watch it for the visuals or if you don’t mind that it is riddled with plot holes then go ahead. But if you are going to watch this and take it seriously. Don’t, it is just a madoka rip off that has cardboard cut out characters and an unpromising premise.

Honestly i’ve always tried to avoid this anime but my friends pressured me into watching it and oh my god… it SUCKED.
I’m not hating on this anime because it’s “edgy” i’m hating on it because it’s just awful with the excessive gore fanservice pink hair galore.
*ALSO THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS*
Story: 1/10
So in the first episode a naked (toTaLly NoT fAnSerVice aNd noT mEanT to bE sExuAl) Lucy is a diclonius, a dangerous species with telekinesis and because she’s a diclonius she is kept inside of a containment facility and guess what? She ends up getting loose. She goes by a bunch of facility workers
...
and decapitates them and rips their heads off while being emotionless and keeping a straight face the whole entire time. So edgy hahaha! So she finally escapes, and once again the camera pans on her bare ass. (Honestly the fanservice was so unnecessary and dumb) She gets shot in the head and gets amnesia which causes her to lose her memory and get a second personality going by the name of “Nyu” instead of “Lucy” So Nyu gets washed up on a shore, how she doesn’t drown not knowing how to swim? Don’t know. So our wimpy mc Kohta finds her. If you saw a naked girl with pink hair, horns, and red eyes who is covered in blood you would be concerned and confused and probably run away, but instead Kohta takes her home and he literally doesn’t question her. She walks around going “Nyu Nyu Nyu” And Kohta becomes attracted to her. He is attracted to her babyish and childish personality, which is creepy as fuck but whatever. Anyways the workers from the facility try to find Lucy, they go to Kohtas house and it’s just so obvious he is keeping her, but they don’t search his house. The problem with this anime is everything is unrealistic, I get that it’s fiction but it still needs to have logic.
Characters: 2/10
“Talk, talk, talk: the utter and heartbreaking stupidity of words.” ― William Faulkner, Mosquitoes. Kohta has no common sense and acts without thinking. It’s ok to do stupid stuff but don’t be TOO stupid. They didn’t even make him intentionally stupid, the writers should have rewritten Kohta into a character with atleast SOME common sense. Why is he stupid? He’s dating his cousin and moves into a closed RESTURAUNT with her. Then he implements the idea to take Nyu into his house. Any normal person would run away if they saw that thing, but again Elfen Lied is unrealistic and stupid, but again the writers necessitate all these dumb scenes. He is also very whiny all the time but then when he finds out Lucy
murderered his family he just shrugs it off. And he choses to date her after she ruins his life
Sloppy and recklessly written for sure.
Lucy/Nyu:
This one is pretty bad. The only positive thing I can say is her character design is pretty good. Really liked the pink and black look. Lucy looks awesome, but her personality is stony-hearted and overly edgy. First of all, when she gets locked up, she ends up being locked up for 18 years without any communication with anyone. Yet somehow she is able to speak japanese fluently and read everything. Anyways, she wants to eliminate life of all humans, why? ShE hAd a hArd liFe. No, even if she didn’t go through “abuse” she would still be a cold-hearted killing machine. Because the motive of almost every diclonius is too kill. The writers try to make Lucy apathetic and cruel because of her “abuse” but then they say violent behavior comes from instinct, but then why is she edgy and cruel because of her “abuse”? The characters are carelessy written, they are straight up boring and uninteresting and the writers had no idea what they were doing when they came up with her personality. Also, after she kills Kohtas parents and apologizes she says “sorry” and that’s pretty much it. She still has no empathy for him. Just because she won’t hurt Kohta doesn’t mean she felt any empathy for him. She only said sorry because she was callee out for her disgusting actions in front of Kohta and she didn’t want him to get angry. Much like a person starting a dumb argument on twitter and get called out for it and then make a fake apology video. That’s literally Lucy..
Also Nyu is just straight up annoying, She doesn’t contribute to the story. She just runs around naked and acts like a child and whines her ass off. That’s it for Lucy/Nyu
Nana: So maybe not ALL of the Elfen Lied characters are stupid cornheads, because Nana is very epic… She has an actual motive, She isn’t a killing machine or a dumbass who makes stupid decisions. All she wants to do is be accepted into society and prove that not all diclonius are evil and that she isn’t dangerous. She is very kind yet she gets the shit beaten out of her all the time. Yeah, Lucy sent her limbs flying and Mariko ripped her clothes off and bashed the shit out of her. But I mean atleast she escapes from the facility..?
I won’t talk about the rest of the characters because they are all clones of Kohta, Stupid, uninteresting and badly written.
Sound: 7/10
The splatter sounds when gore went flying were pretty much the only realistic thing in this anime, I can appreciate the fact they did a good job with the sounds. Also the Op is pretty creative and I wasn’t expecting OPERA to be used as an anime opening. The op is called lilium in case you are wondering. The ed was okay…nothing special. The voice acting really depends, are you watching the sub or the dub? Okay, well the sub is good, But the dub just progressively gets worse each episode and sometimes it sounded like gibberish when the characters talk and I ended up having to rewind it but still couldn’t even get what they were trying to say. The sound is good. (Yes, i’m actually saying something positive about one of the worst animes of all time!)
Art: 7/10
The animation was pretty decent, the scenery was actually beautiful and I like that old early 2000s art style.
Also, one more thing to say before this review is over.. people say this anime is deep when really it is not deep at ALL. It glorifies abuse. Say your boyfriend/girlfriend gets sent to jail for killing someone and they end up saying “sorry”. Of course a normal person would go “No, that’s horrible i’m not forgiving you.” But in Elfen Lied it tries to make the watcher learn a lesson, a BAD lesson. It tells you to forgive people for doing absolutely shitty pyschopath things. “Dicloni are victims” No…they literally want to end the human race, so you would let a species of dangerous animals loose to the public and end the lives of every human on earth, what?!!!! The humans who get killed by Dicloni are the real victims. Apart from the show having a shitty message, the plot was generic and poorly written and the characters were boring and meaningless. It was so hard to empathize with Lucy/Nyu and Kohta was just an asshole. The only cool character was Nana, but the show still sucked.
Elfen Lied is a failed attempt of an edgy anime with “deep” characters and plot points that actually end up flopping.

(This is my fifth review, yay.)
So, Boku No Hero Academia was really and I mean REALLY popular when it came out in 2016, and it’s still extremely popular today. Does it deserve it’s popularity and hype? Yes, absolutely without a doubt, this is one of the greatest shounen animes out there and if you like shounen and action then I would definitely recommend My Hero Academia.
Story: 7/10
The story is quite generic. It’s kids going to a school to learn how to be heroes and fight against villains. But I can’t complain since there were almost no plot holes and the story progressively gets
...
more engaging each episode.
Animation: 9/10
Bones Inc did a good job on the animation for sure. A lot of the fight scenes were smoothly animated and very intense and there were almost no animation errors.
Sound: 8/10
The opening song is nice and it is very fitting. The ending song was also good but definitely not as catchy and cool as the opening song. Now, let’s get on with the voice acting. Honestly you can watch this dubbed or subbed. They both sound great. In the english dub the characters voices fit very well with their personalities and in the japanese dub the voices also fit.
Characters: 6/10
There were so many characters but a lot of them didn’t really even contribute to the story. They were sort of just….there. But they all had cool quirks and they didn’t get too much unnecessary screen time so that’s a plus. Aside from the minor characters, The main characters, Deku and Bakugo are very well written. There is a rivalry between them and it is shown by the way they interact with each other. Bakugo is impertinent and very aggressive and mean to Deku, while Deku is very kind and thoughtful. A really good thing about the characters is that none of them have the same personalities which makes them pretty interesting even if they don’t have much contributions to the story or don’t do a lot in the show.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Everything about this anime is pretty good. Again it’s my favorite anime and if you like shonen and action you should definitely watch this.
Overall: 10/10
This anime is awesome and even though it might not have the most original plot you’ve got to admit the characters are really well written and it’s super entertaining. 10/10

I don’t get why people brush this anime aside, when it came out in 2020 nobody talked about it but it really deserves more praise.
It’s an anime about gymnastics and there aren’t a lot of those, so you can already tell it’s definitely not one of those generic sports animes. The premise is cool and the plot is executed well. A man named Joutarou Aragaki gets a shoulder injury connected to the death of his wife. Fast forward five years later he continues to do gymnastics but due to his shoulder injury his coach advises him to retire but Joutarou suggests he keeps doing
...
gymnastics.
Joutarou takes his daughter, Rei on a trip to Ego Wonderland to tell her about his shoulder but is interrupted when an odd ninja named Leo approaches him. He then follows them home and keeps preventing Joutarou from mentioning the fact he might have to retire due to his injury.
Joutarou’s character sets a good example for others. When watching him do gymnastics with a shoulder injury, it showed that he never gives up even when something really bad happens to him. He also has a good relationship with his daughter Rei, and they are both happy even though he has a shoulder injury and his wife is dead.
Rei is supportive of her dad and she always goes with him and watches him do gymnastics. Rei and Joutarou have a good father-daughter relationship andnthey are both always supportive of each other.
Leonardo (Leo) also encourages Joutarou not to quit gymnastics and because of Leos positive and supportive personality, he motivates Joutarou to keep doing gymnastics and not retire.
Overall, if you like childcare and sports, you should watch this anime because it’s basically both. And that’s not really two genres you would see together but again this anime isn’t generic.
Anyways, this is getting an 8/10 from me. It’s really good.

(PROBABLY WILL CONTAIN A SMALL AMOUNT OF SPOILERS)
Yikes, how does this have a score of 7.43 (by the time of writing)? It’s not that Guilty Crown is a bad show. It’s just over praised and it doesn’t deserve so much popularity since there are a lot of plot holes and unexplained stuff.
This show is pretty meh. The premise was cool but ruined by the ridiculous plot. The characters were not too great. There were a bunch of things about them that didn’t make any sense like how their personalities kept constantly changing every episode and most of them just acted weird and unnatural.
The story
...
is pretty cliché and boring. Firstly it starts off with “Cringy akward boy meets mysterious apathetic pink haired girl that gives him powers.” Totally haven’t seen that 1000 times.. Being cliche is another thing Guilty Crown suffered from. The main character is given a power called a “Void” by a mysterious pink haired totally not generic girl. They talk with each other. Blah Blah Blah. And then so basically Shu (The main character) joins a rebellion group that goes against the Japanese government. And about also Inori.. (the pink haired girl) Shu doesn’t even know her (he only knows that she’s a popular singer but knows pretty much nothing else about her) and she’s literally a terrorist. But he goes with her because she’s pretty and he’s a wimp who can’t get a girlfriend!!!!! (We will talk about him and his wimpy personality soon) Anyways, he talks to the leader of the group Gai and he thinks about joining Funeral Parlor (the name of the resistance group) because his favorite singer is in it.
So let’s get onto the void part, oh boy… Voids seem interesting at first. Basically you can pull a weapon or special object out of someone’s body by looking them in the eyes. Sounds cool at first right? Sadly it ends up getting pretty confused. Inori gives Shu the power to extract voids from people, it never explains how she was even able to give him the power or why she’s able to give people the power but yeah, this anime doesn’t explain A LOT of things. Also voids can only be pulled out from people who are 17 or under, Why? No idea, never explained.. Also when voids get extracted from someone, the person who’s void gets pulled out is supposed to be unconscious. That’s what it stated but then later when voids got pulled out of people some of them didn’t even faint. The writers couldn’t make up their minds and they had no idea what they were doing.
So much stuff in this anime wasn’t explained (Won’t go too deep into that) but it’s like the writing is so awful and each episode the plot gets more confusing and you’ll say “What is even happening at this point?” It also brings up a bunch of weird incest stuff with Shu and his sister, Mana and it turns out she wanted to MARRY him? Why? Why add that to the plot? Also, there are some random notions of rape. There could have been a better idea for the story, but again the writers were probably high when writing this anime. Not gonna talk more about the incest stuff and stupid plot, you can see where this is going. The plot just progressively gets dumber and more confusing each episode.
Shu isn’t even a typical shonen protagonist, he’s just a plain idiot. Oh my GOD, he is so annoying. Shoe is a weak character and I thought he was going to mature towards the end but no..So first of all he joins a terroist group just because of his pink haired waifu. But then suddenly he regrets joining the resistance group. So he has this overpowered power but whenever he knows there’s a risk he could get in to trouble he just runs away from fights! Honestly, why did he join a TERRORIST group if he thought he didn’t have to fight anyone? And when Inori talks about Gai and how he “gave her everything” Shu gets jealous and his personality just gets worse. He’s rude and insensitive to almost everyone around him. Even after Inori rejected him and tricked him into joining the group so she could use him, he still liked her and then he felt the need to “protect her” from the government. But that’s pretty much the only reason why he joined Funeral Parlor. He’s literally just a useless toy to them though and he doesn’t even understand that he was being used as a weapon at the end of the show.
Now let’s talk about another interesting character,Inori.. She’s pretty much just a good looking pile of garbage. Great character design and looks interesting at first. Except she has an iq of 0 (Just like Shoe, maybe these two are actually meant to be together!) and there’s nothing likeable about her personality, really she doesn’t serve the plot. She is mostly just there for fanservice with unnecessary shots of her bum or tits. Why else doesn’t she serve the plot? First of all, her personality is just..ugh. A broken air fryer has more personality than Inori. She is literally so boring and she’s never doing anything interesting, she shoots a few guys but that’s it. Also she tells them she doesn’t wanna kill them but then shoots them anyway? Obviously she did want to kill them since there were other ways to solve the problem other than killing. The writers tried to execute her as a kuudere but failed miserably. She’s just a knock-off Rei pretty much. Another reason why she doesn’t serve to the plot is just because again, she’s just THERE. She hardly fought in Funeral Parlor and mostly just stood there and watched. And her relationship with Shu is awful. She pretty much just uses him but he continues to simp for her.
The entire cast is horribly written, like all the scenes with edgy dark backstories
and describing the characters HArD liFe, I just couldn’t empathize with anyone, the characters were too boring and uninteresting. The guy characters were wannabe bad asses and the girl characters, well they were just only used for fanservice. Did we REALLY need to have bouncing boobs literally everytime a girl character fought?
I can only say one good thing about this show and that’s the art style being super cool and the animation being really smooth, it doesn’t even look like it was made in 2011. it looks like it was made in 2021. Horribly written anime with great visuals.
Anyways, this show is supposed to be taken seriously but fails miserably, It’s like the scenes are SUPPOSED to be SERIOUS and DRAMATIC but you just end up laughing at how stupid the scenes are. But I mean what do you expect? It’s Guilty Crown, a sexist and uninteresting show with a good premise that got thrown away with a poorly written plot. Everything was riddled with plot holes. In the end nothing makes sense and it was so average. It’s just a jumbled mess of events that happen but don’t get explained along with cliché characters whose reactions to things don’t even make sense. Inori literally acts like a robot. Honestly, don’t waste your time watching this if your gonna take it seriously. Better watched as a comedy rather than a drama just because of how stupid some of the scenes were. Maybe watch this with a friend and have a fun time laughing about what an entertaining pile of garbage it is. But if your planning to watch this as a romantic dramatic action anime then don’t even bother. Overall, this show had average characters and there was just too many plot holes and the plot made no sense. I don’t recommend this to anyone who is looking for a ACTUAL romantic drama. Maybe if you aren’t expecting a masterpiece or a super good anime you should watch it though. It isn’t great but it is still entertaining.
