I enjoyed this manga in a way I haven’t for most in a long time. I don’t know if I just have a proclivity towards edgy slock but by god when it’s done well it never bores me. If there is one thing I enjoy about this manga after reading all 116 chapters of it is the surprising amount of heart that is etched into every single moment. A ton of time and energy is devoted to the development of interpersonal relationships, establishing full arcs within these dynamics setting the stage for some real emotionally tragic and cathartic moments. I give it it's 10/10 rating mostly because of how much i enjoyed Magnetic rose
in the time that it has it masterfully creates a story with both depth and immersion. The soundtrack is perfect and the characters are lively and realistic. And the twist in the story's end makes the whole thing worth it <3 the Late, Satoshi kon's involvement in this project is one of the main reasons as to why it's such and masterpiece. I really enjoyed alot of the other animated sections of the story from Katsuhiro otomo's robot city among others. It's something that really inspires me as an animator

I felt like the series was good but after reading the manga it feels incomplete missing one of the best arcs in the series overall known as the Jinchu arc with some of the best moments in the series...
The filler episodes do take away from the enjoyment but overall i'd give the anime a solid 7 ... But that is 100% because of the kyoto arc So after watching that arc don't even bother with the rest of the series just read the manga During the Kyoto arc the animation was perfectly consistent throughout and the fights have a level of complexity not often gifted to shonen battle ...

To be honest I love Akira 1988 however it's missing out on alot of details contained in the manga...
Their were a whole lot more characters and their was more explained and explored in the overall series that's why i feel like this movie fails in certain aspects... it fails to characterize important characters like Granny Chiyako and a ton of others including Akira himself which makes an appearance in the manga that's why i feel like Akira needs a new adaptation covering all of the manga However overall it's done pretty good For the overall movie however the artwork and animation was beautiful and still can compete with the ... |
