This anime was so disappointing that it made me write my first review. It started off really great with a funny MC, awesome animation, and sound effects. But as the episodes went on, I realized just how much the anime lacks originality. It was so predictable, like when a kaijuu is about to eat or kill the character, and then another character swoops in to save them. Like how many times has this happened in the show? We all know the character isn’t going to die, so why show this scene over and over again? and let's not start talking about the useless and worst

The main thing that annoyed me was the main character and how naive he is. I wished he would use the kaijuu ability and develop new skills, but he kept training in his human form, which ended up being pointless. No matter how much he trains, he’s still weak.
Discovering he’s a kaijuu by the defense force was bound to happen sooner or later. He should’ve fought in his kaijuu form to build a good reputation, so when everyone knows he’s a kaijuu, his past would help him. But he decided to fight kaijuu with a pistol, even though he had the power to kill them with one hit. So idiotic and annoying to watch.
I would say this show is best for newcomers who are new to anime. I know this review is only focusing on the negative aspects of the show, but it’s just sad to see something that could have been so much better turn out like this. The lack of originality, no character development, and bad writing are what made this show bad, sadly.
