I've always been a sucker for romance. Maybe It's just that I enjoy watching fictional relationships progress throughout the series. This time I really wanted to read a longer oldie, which turned out to be quite good pick. Mars was hell of read and it's been a while since I was this invested to a manga that I couldn't stop reading. However, there was a lot of things too that I didn't enjoy in the manga.
Art:
I really loved the art. It really has a 90s shoujo manga vibes. Characters were done beautifully. I don't really have anything to complain about. However, this is only a
...
small issue I had. Sometimes it was really hard to read the characters emotions. I thought the expressions were kinda hard to interpret. Still, nothing major.
Story:
Story was okay. It's not just a typical high school romance story. It has a lot of ups and downs, turning points and heavy topics. The author really lets the reader know that everything bad can happen right away. Despite having lots of drama and uncomfortable topics, it's not going to be the hardest shit you'll read. Trust me anime/manga industry is filled with fucked up shit.
Characters:
This is where my compliments will stay in their bare minimum. Unfortunately, the characters were the biggest issue I had throughout this story. My god, how fucked up can they be... My patience wont last enough for me to go through every character I thought were shit. Despite all the horrible shit some of these characters did, I couldn't come in terms with our ML Rei. Rei was the character whose actions I despised most of the time reading this manga. He had elements that many of us can relate. Jealousy, anger, trust issues and possessiveness. However he used those ill feelings wrong way and instead of wanting to help and protect his partner, ended up hurting her even more. Some of Rei's actions I found unforgivable and couldn't believe the other characters still accepted it. The characters were too benevolent. I found that unrealistic and dumb.
All in all Mars is definitely a shoujo even a guy could enjoy. I know I did, but I've always liked shoujo and josei romance as much as shounen and seinen. Mars has a lot of good elements for everyone to enjoy. Biking, sports, cuteness, drama and so much more. Like many people have said it is one heck of a rollercoaster, but genuinely a very good read!

Finally! The whole manga was translated to English, which is something that I have been waiting for so long!
I'll make this review short and tell my thoughts clearly.
City Hunter is a legendary series. It's one of those hidden gems that I have found during all these years of my fascination to anime. I marathoned the whole anime, and I think it's the funniest anime I've ever watched along Saiki Kusuo. After finishing the anime I gave it straight up 10 (masterpiece) rating. However I don't think it was because of the story. The story is quite monotonous, simply because of one thing -- it
...
has the same gags and they never change! I think no one would be willing to count how many times Kaori has bashed Ryo with her giant hammer, and how much does Saeko owe Ryo right now? Probably one million MOKKORI. The manga and the anime are episodic so I understand why it was repetitious, but still I really grew tired of the same jokes and same conversations. Also I was kinda disappointed that Kaori and Ryo's relationship never really developed, they had only a few romantic moments during the series and they were always in danger during those moments. Kaori had a lot of reasons to leave Ryo during the series, but she never did, and this will happen a lot during the series. Character development was at the bottom, which is probably the biggest reasons why the story is so monotonous.
The art both in the manga and the anime were fantastic. Both also really resemble each other, so it was easy to watch and it at the same time. It really gives you an 80s vibe which I personally am a big fan of.
I also love this series as a man a lot because most of the female character are beautiful. Man, 80s character looked so human, I don't know what happened but now a stereotypical anime character has eyes size of a plate and nose so small you can barely even see it.
Saeba Ryo, he is hands down one of the greatest character ever made. His pervert nature mixes awesomely with his cool side when saving girls and shooting bad guys. It's weird why I think he's hilarious, he is just a pervert and doesn't tell any jokes. I think it's all because of his voice actor in the anime Kamiya Akira, he also voiced Kenshiro in Hokuto no Ken and can make a lot of hilarious voices. Also Ryo's facial expressions are really fun and of course the all powerful MOKKORI.
But you may still ask, why 10?
Honestly when you have cool, strong and charismatic main character, awesome 80s music (anime), beautiful artstyle, great action scenes, and as childish sense of humor as I do, what else do you need. Honestly if this wasn't episodic I don't think it would've made it to 10, but for some reason I never really got so bored that I was not enjoying it. I was really just in to the action, music, Ryo, and the girls (obviously), and always got something out of every chapter.
Overall City Hunter is a series that has really entertained me and I will remember this series as one of the GOAT anime series ever made.
How is this a short review? I still need to finish my homework *sigh*

Honestly I was excepting more of a shit show from this 1 episode OVA, and it really was a mess but goddamnit I really enjoyed it.
For me, I can enjoy pretty much any type of anime as long as it's not some love-triangle drama bullshit. For me it's all about the enjoyment and I really enjoyed watching this one.
The anime don't have much of a plot, it's just the MC being a f*cking horrible person and banging chicks, and trying to get a lot of money. I just loved how simple the story was.
The art was quite potatoish, but the anime was made in
...
1989 so I don't really care.
I love how unique type of character the MC is, he's probably the most loved and the most hated character in the series, he can have pretty much anything he wants. I just loved how horrible person he was because it's rare to see a MC like him. I really like it when the MC doesn't give a fuck about what everyone thinks and always ends up winning, that's my type of MC.
I feel like i didn't get enough of this OVA and I want so see more, but I can't find any manga of this and if there is one it's probably not translated. I don't really care what people say about this anime, but for me the only negative thing that comes to my mind is that it was too short.
I shall remember this wonderful piece of art for my whole life.

I don't know but for some reason i just want to drop a review of this manga here.
I found this manga like two years ago but didn't read it, so i'm really late with this review.
It felt like i'm the only person who hasn't read this, so i just kinda half-jokingly decided to read this. And in the end i just couldn't stop reading this...
And that wasn't because it was good. No, the opposite it was BAD but i still just couldn't defeat my curiousness. So i read and read until it was over, it took me about 2 hours. I started this in midnight
...
and finished at 2 am.
It was definitely one hell of a experience.
I'm not gonna give any specific rating on story, art, character and enjoyment for this manga. Because i feel like it's the right thing to do with this manga.
The story is very sad, i think that's what we all can agree to. From the beginning to the near end, i thought this manga was just made to be grose and brutal without any good story. Like pretty much all hentai (except vanilla) i've watched.
But i took me quite long to understand that this story is actually pretty interesting and also realistic. I really think that the life of a prostitute with bad circumstances wouldn't be far away from this. At the end of the series i really felt bad for Saki from what she had to go through.
In the end, your own decisions are always the most crucial thing.
I really feel like the all the characters were just meant to be hated except Saki whom i just couldn't hate. Saki claims herself to be a weak person and in the end, she really was. You can see that she was almost like brainwashable, from the start to end. But if she would've not been so naive and made the right decisions she obviously wouldn't be that weak of a person. I gotta say one more thing about the characters. Her mother... what a wise person. I gotta say if i would have a 16 year old son and he would have intercourse with my wife... Of course i would beat the shit out of him. I don't know if Saki's dad ''raping'' Saki was his somewhat plan to get rid her or just wanting to claim his daughters virginity to him (which he failed, was too late) because his wife wasn't virgin when they had their first time. But anyway that was the moment that i almost stopped reading but.... nope i decided to just move on.
The artstyle was pretty good not gonna lie. I respect Shindo L as an artist but not because of this work...
My enjoyment changed quite often during the time i read this manga. I would describe it as a horrified yet curious experience. This one really reminded of school days but with opposite gender and a bit more extreme. Although Makoto had sex just for fun and Saki did it for money and i guess fun as well. By curiousness i don't mean it's exactly good because now i really start to question my own life decisions by deciding to read this manga.
Overall i still can't give this a good rating. For everyone thinking this one is a masterpiece i strongly disagree. Story was decent, but i really didn't want to waste 2 hours of my life for this. But i already reached the point of no return before i realized it so i just couldn't stop.
What we all learned? Don't fuck your dad, don't do drugs, don't sell yourself, wear protection and always remember to hide the money you pick up from the locker (You know :D)

Finally, the 6 year battle has ended.
Oh, Kei Sasuga what have you done...
This is my first manga review so please don't judge me.
Domestic na Kanojo is a good example how to ruin a decent manga with it's ending. Of course, the ending is not the only one that i found frustrating in this manga. It's just how every character seems to have the IQ of a cow.
Story- 4/10
The story is quite simple Natsuo Fujii a highschool student is in love with his teacher Hina Tachibana. But knows she is out of his reach so he decides to go to a mixer. There he
...
meets girl named Rui who suddenly want's to lose her virginity with Natsuo who is also a virgin. So then they decide to go to some random hotel and fuck. In the next day, they decide not to meet again (wanting to keep it a one night stand). But soon after Natsuo get's home his father announces that he will get remarried soon. Natsuo doesn't seem to mind but soon after when his father's new fiance come's to meet Natsuo, she bring her two daughters from her former marriage. And those sisters are surprise surprise Hina and Rui. Natsuo's crush and teacher, as well as his one-night stand in the same package. And that's when the whole shit starts.
I gotta say after reading about 10 first chapter's , i actually enjoyed them. But the more i read the more confused i got from the decisions made by characters. And when i'm confused and frustrated all the time i can't give it a good number. And because the story telling is just so fucking bad. This whole step-sister love triangle thing itself was just too much for me to chew, so this shall be the last step-sis love triangle themed manga i ever read.
Art- 8/10
I gotta admit i really liked the artstyle, it made the girls look really pretty. Guys were also done pretty well. I don't have much else to say since i myself don't know anything about drawing.
Characters- 2/10
As i said, the characters were really awkward and dumb. And i hated how they ruined Rui's character, she changed so much in the ending. I mean it's good to be independent but her decisions for someone else's happiness were really questionable. And also how pathetic Natsuo was when not being able to decide which girl to choose, like come on man...
Enjoyment- 4/10
I really enjoyed the manga to a certain point but then i just started to get enough of this series. But if there's one thing that i really enjoyed as a man of culture all the time was where they had sex they are always gud. But if you really enjoy these step-sis romance manga's then you should take a peak at this one (just kidding please don't read this it's just a waste of time really...)
But i'm glad it's over, now i can sleep in peace and never ever think about this series again.

I am not trying to make this review helpful or anything, i just want to tell my opinion about this anime.
When i watched this anime and looked the reviews, i was thinking that why the ratings were so bad? I think this anime is much more entertaining than many other isekai anime.
Let me talk about the main character Hajime Nagumo. I love this character, why? Because he is just way different than any other isekai mc. At the beginning, just an ordinary boy who then gets betrayed by his classmate and falls in to abyss where he turns into a cruel merciless guy with no
...
hesitation to kill. Does that sound like a typical isekai mc? I just love how he doesn't hesitate to kill the enemy like other isekai mc's probably would.
I don't have anything to say about the artstyle or the animation i think it were just fine as it is because I'm not pro reviewer.
But i really enjoyed this anime, the fight scenes were okay, sometimes little boring, and the harem is amazing as well, it's not like any stupid harem with some dense motherfucker who doesn't even know about his harem. And the girls are fine too not any annoying tsunderes. Now i just want to see more of Hajime doing cool stuff and enjoying his harem, can't wait for 2nd season to come out. I don't care what people thinks about this anime
but this is one of the best isekai anime ever made enough said.
