Alright, I'll get straight to the point: when you think about this Anime as the story/background/plot (whatever) of the videogame it's not terrible, but when you think about it as a show and a show only you'll see this is as mediocre as it gets.
My review will contain strong language, and I declare already that I do not intend to offend anyone by what I'll say, it's just my opinion and me using simple language and vocabulary to express my feelings towards this anime.
Ok! Let's start from the beginning, I played azur lane a while ago maybe a year and a half or
...
something and I played it for about two weeks. When I began watching this I pretty much didn't remember anything from the game but a few characters here and there.
So in the first episode(s) you just get information shoved on your face. And by this I mean you get introduced to a shit ton of characters and a lot of specific words and faction names whatsoever IN JUST ONE EPISODE. The next episodes I don't really want to talk about them because I feel like I lost braincells already. The concept is so shitty, the plot goes nowhere and I just keep wondering to myself if this was just a thing to satisfy the mobile gaming weebs and give them an anime of their cute little ships and stuff...
The animation is below average although not terrible, soundtrack is ok I guess, i don't know about the characters because for me each one just brings a new type of fanservice along and the plot as I mentioned before goes nowhere.
To summarize, you literally get nothing out of this show. No matter what you say most of what I said are facts. If you played the game well here's more fanservice for you! Go ahead!

I came across this manga in a discord server I was in, where I saw someone recommending it and labeling it as "the best drama manga I've ever read".
I decided not to read it online and I bought the only volume and read it under an hour. This is my first ever manga review.
"Kamisama ga Uso wo Tsuku." is a deep story which is very well put together and with distinctive characters who each have their own personalities and weird tics.
The story introduces to you the main character as a 11 year old boy called Natsuru Nanao who's living with his mom.
...
He's the ace of his soccer team and has a hard time talking to girls. He takes an interest in his female classmate Rio and eventually asks her to stay with a cat he found abbandoned on the streets.
(This short text summarizes about 1/3 of the whole plot)
I liked the story, it was relatively deep and interesting. You are actually introduced to a big variety of characters taking into account the fact that this is only 5 chapters long. I found the art actually the least appealing parameter although it was not bad. In my opinion this manga had content and potencial for having more chapters, the story feels a little bit rushed even though you can barely notice it.
You meet characters that don't change shit in the outcome of the story and you meet others that although seem small plotwise, are actually important for the development of other characters.
Then after analysing my own thoughts, I couldn't think of any other score to give this manga but 8. It's to the point I can't give more than 8 because I just don't see those magnificent strengths that would increase my score. And I can't go any lower because it's an amazing story with such great characters.
Story- 9
Art- 7
Character- 10
Enjoyment- 8
It was a good experience reading this manga, although I was expecting more after having a glimpse at some reviews. I'll probably give it another shot in a near future just to confirm everything I thought about my first impression of the manga, but for now The Gods lied but I didn't.

I'm writing this late review because I realized this is one of my favorite shows of all time.
Obviously I'm not going to cover the plot from the first season, I'm just going to focus on these 4 episodes which are the conclusion to the anime.
First of all I did not read the Manga so I have no idea what are the changes applied and/or if it's better than the anime itself or not.
This anime, more specifically, these last 4 episodes really bring your emotions and feelings to life, it's a mix of sadness, hope, excitement, anxiety and relief.
The more you are into
...
the plot and the characters, the more you'll enjoy it.
After all these years watching, school, slice of life and romance anime, I feel like this show has been waiting for me. It's my favorite in these genres and I don't think it'll be overruled by any other anime so soon.
I can't find negative points, neither plot holes.. It all just comes together perfectly in a show that will either blow your mind or at least make you glad that you watched it.
ReLIFE: Kanketsu-hen, is a must watch after the first season (it wouldn't even make sense not to watch it), but there's something I can assure you:
If you thought ReLIFE was good, you will love the conclusion of this show.
10/10 is all I can say about my experience on this anime,
Simply outstanding.

So, this anime has been on my "plan to watch" list for more than 2 years now. And oh boy I'm so regretful that I didn't watch it earlier.
This is mostly a romance/fantasy show with a good story and very distinctive characters.
To be honest, what I enjoyed the most were the first few episodes and the last one, the ones where the plot was focused on Ayatsuji's story were the ones I didn't enjoy. I feel like a character like this was not needed in the anime. Maybe some side story stuff would be better than introducing a character that takes all the attention.
Also the
...
fact that the relationship between Kurogane and Stella develops so quickly is kindda disappointing, I mean no two characters should get that intimate within 2 or 3 episodes.
Anyway, these little things that I pointed out won't really influence your experience throughout the anime. If you're either a fan of good straight romance, ecchi, action, fantasy or maybe a little bit of all of them, you'll certainly enjoy this show.

MAY CONTAIN SLIGHT SPOILERS
Well, this is going to be my first review and the reason for me writing this is because I'm feeling really in need to talk about this show.
Sorry for any English grammar issues that may show up throughout this review.
Initially I thought this was going to be one of those cliche anime where the main character manages to "change" that cold, quiet and proud girl who, at first, doesn't like him but as the anime goes on, she starts to fall in love with him. Well this isn't entirely false but as I watched this show, I realized that it was
...
kind of different.
Masamune isn't your everyday school type anime protagonist. He is actually a handsome guy who is very popular in school and even though he could get pretty much any girl he wanted, he is obsessed with his revenge on Adagaki Aki. The whole anime develops around that.
Now I don't really want to talk about the plot itself but about my thoughts of what was missing and what was too much in this anime.
I really loved the concept of Masamune being a good looking guy after his terrible experiences in the past for being fat. He was bullied and supposedly rejected by his childhood love (Adagaki Aki). He worked very hard to change his appearance and to become the perfect kind of person you would date.
It's really annoying the whole revenge thing because at certain points it really looks like he is in love with Adagaki-san, not just for her but even for the viewers. I think the story is kind of stuck in the same concept and that prevents it from developing.
I really loved like the first 4 or 5 episodes. Because the relation between the two main characters seemed to be making sense. But then, all of a sudden, the plot turns and we're back at the start. They seem to become more and more distant. Conversations that you'd expect to happen don't happen and the whole thing just gets weird. Then another character shows up and "steals" Adagaki's heart, as well as Masamune's identity. For some reason the main character doesn't seem to be much bothered about this and nothing really happens.
Maybe it's just me being unsatisfied by the fact that the story was getting weirder, simply because the characters wouldn't do what I was expecting, or what would be expected in a romance anime.
Also what the hell was that ending? Seriously the whole karaoke thing didn't make any sense. That last sheet of paper was, probably, an opening for a future 2nd season or ova. But seriously if the story doesn't start developing I don't see any reason to keep watching it.
I know this is mostly a negative review which contrasts with the score I gave. The thing is, I'm just really sad and unsatisfied with the plot, I was expecting it to be a little deeper. The whole concept, animations, and characters were very good, soundtrack was OK, but I just feel that there's something missing.
I did not read the Manga but from the reviews I saw it really is better and deeper than the anime. So if you're either planning to watch this show, or, like me, unsatisfied with it, I highly recommend you to read the manga.
Overall it's not a bad show and you actually get attracted and familiarized with it's characters and story. I've seen the most various opinions about "Masamune-kun no Revenge" so go ahead, watch it and take your own conclusions. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it, even if slightly.
