This anime is the best anime I've ever seen. I'm still on the second season and I'm already rewatching the first season.

The story is very touching. It's set at a school and the story is mostly just Tomoya's life and how he basically helps everyone he comes in contact with. It's also a romance though at first that isn't evident and I still have yet to see anyone kiss. It is a harem so all the girls in the school love Tomoya (who wouldn't?) Clannad has a story that will leave smiling like a fool one second and crying the next, it's a very ... heartwarming and sad anime.

The art is great all the characters are very well drawn and very cute.

The sound is good the songs are very emotional and add to the anime a lot. Especially the Big Dango Family song which plays at the end of each episode and for some reason makes me want to cry despite it being so cute and silly. The only problem with the sound is that if you watch the English dub version you'll notice that a couple voices are kinda high pitched and Ryou's voice is very soft and kinda bugs me.

The characters are the strongest point of this anime. They are all super likeable and have wonderful back stories. Tomoya is a wonderful protagonist and Nagisa is very sweet as well. Sunohara and Nagisa's parents are hilarious but even they have their dramatic parts that will leave you crying. Clannad has a big cast but each character is vital and likeable.

I enjoyed this anime a ton and I am enjoying the sequel just as much. This anime is a must watch.

Overall, the best anime I've ever seen. It's a must watch! It's beautiful and nearly perfect, it's basically just amazing.
