My dear friend recommended it to me years ago, but I only just had time to watch it and I have to say it delivered what it said it would, even better than I expected, and if there is anything that struck me about this anime, it would be the weight of those words from a character who has lived thousands of years and for him 80 years seems like only 80 days. (The story's biggest message: Life is not just for surviving, it's for living and wasting it)
Life is full of beautiful adventures, crazy nights, long conversations in the dark, and even longer silences.
...
These are the things you should collect when you're young so you have something to dream about in your grave. Don't look for meaning in it, just enjoy it while it lasts!
Frieren is thousands of years old, yet those (10 years) were his real life and some regrets that he didn't make with others before, and Fern and Stark pay attention to this so that they don't repeat the same mistake!
That's why the relationships develop much faster, while at the same time Frieren realizes what mistakes he made or missed in his best years of life, which one of his companions Heiter wanted to help, but he didn't have much time left, so Fern asked him to help Frieren understand these feelings. At that time, Frieren only felt them, but didn't understand their significance!
I really like this certain (mutual) support for each other because Frieren is now Fern and Stark, as if Heiter and Eisen were with him! So Frieren won't be lonely during his adventure!
It's funny and very ironic that the main villain of the first season was Frieren himself, which could be a future foreshadowing of the plot and the end of his character, whose last adventure we will read about! Only this time he will have much more emotional feelings.
And of course here comes the biggest question of the plot, will Frieren's fate live on or not after the end of the manga, who will still carry on Flamme's will, or will he pass it on to Fern. I thought at the beginning that even with the end of the manga we will only see a part of Frieren's life (100 years), for whom these 100 years are like 100 days for us.
However, I still feel that the story will show Frieren's last adventure and thus we will see the last adventure of our thousand-year-old character with the end of the Manga.I feel like Frieren and Eisen are going to die during the story, and where our characters are going will be Frieren's farewell, where he can meet his 3 hero friends again in the afterlife!
It's not a resurrection, but rather they will meet each other again in the afterlife, where the elven age will no longer matter to them, because they can stay together forever and even the unfinished romance between them can happen with Friere and Himmel. Because it is precisely with the Stark x Fern journey that they will finally understand what Himmel felt for him! (that ring)
So, it could be quite a Lord of the Rings-like ending, and here too, people emphasize it as a new future.
Of course... this is a very early theory... which will probably be revealed in 10 years, but I have a feeling, and if the writer doesn't change his writing, then I think this could have a similar ending in the plot.
Sorry for the rambling, I formulated an ending theory instead of an opinion.
Now I'm going to be salty, because I won't give it 10/10 now, but I'll be willing to give it and it might even be a favorite if its quality doesn't change during the next season!I'm interested in what Kanehito Yamada will make of it, and I'd like to see it! And if it's good, then I feel like this story is going to be among the best!
Funfact, we got episode 28, but I still felt like the story of the first part of the first season was an introduction ! 9+/10, and I feel like I'm going to have a lot of fun with this story and it might even be one of the best fantasy adventure stories!
The world is good, the characters are lovable and Mahouse is back!

I liked the anime, and I'm basically looking for a good Gyaru story and I think this was good.
The only negative thing I have with this is that the father, main character and their daughter have pretty much the same setup...but it didn't spoil anything. In fact!
I liked how the story ended with rivals. The two main characters got almost 30 chapters of time with each other and with their family, which I appreciated, and the extra chapter at the end with their daughter deserves special credit.
I have no complaints with the story.. it didn't try to overcomplicate it like most harems do. The main
...
character knew who he wanted all the way through and didn't go from one to the other before he realized who he wanted again, so I appreciated that while reading. (This was also one of the good sides of the manga)
and the drawing is just wow. So, it easily deserves 8+/10. and after this I want season 2 :3

Good anime. I can say the same thing I said about Buddy Daddies. Short and sadly unfinished. That's all the negative things I could say about it.
I've already stopped watching the 1st season anime, because most of them are just used as Novel promotions, and a lot of good stories went to waste.
Another sin of Remain is that it's an anime original :/ I can't find out what will happen after the anime and it hasn't been continued for almost 4 years and it may not get one. -.-
The story dealt with the past and the present at the same time, and this is true
...
of the new and old teammate. While the story also had a family and love thread, and he turned from an egotistical MC into a normal guy and team player! It had everything a good anime needs. (good start)
It's worth watching, but unlike Buddy Daddies, it didn't get an ending, only the season ended with the beginning of a new life, but the plot itself remained unfinished.
It's worth it, but it's unfinished, so everyone should think twice before starting.
I gave it an 8 for the beginning, but there's been no news about the sequel for almost 4 years, no manga or novel about how it will end, so I finally decided to rate it between 6 and 7.
If there is a sequel and this quality remains, I'll give it an 8 rating again.

Short. That's all the negative about the Anime itself. It was good, but it would have taken 2x as much time to have a better story, because the ending is like I came, I saw, I conquered XD, but ...
Get a fair ending, rather than never experiencing the end of this one!
It's really short, but despite the brevity they were able to keep the humor, drama, family atmosphere, change and the development of our characters in balance, even they kept them fast and short!
But as I said, it's good in itself that it gets a fair ending in only 12 episodes and that ending scene
...
was cute and perfect.
8/10!
If you like the Spy x Family series, you'll like this one too.
