Both feature a central trio of two protagonists and a female character (childhood friend in Touch, sister in Mix). Just like Touch, Mix focuses on baseball covered by a subtle romantic story. Adachi's unique storytelling and his 'quirky' humor are at full glory in this case too.

Both being made by the same mangaka, is extensively based on rural japan. Similarly like Mushishi, a lot of focus is given on myths and the lives of the people affected by it. If you're looking to experience the same kind of heavenly feeling, this should be up your alley.

Adachi greatness. Both manga are essentially slice of life stories woven carefully around exciting baseball action and subtle romance between childhood friends. If you liked one, chances are you'll love the other.

Both involve a central pair of characters where the female lead is much taller than the male lead. Hilarity ensues.

Mushishi's about the MC, Ginko, who can see strange creatures called 'mushi'; whereas Kotonoba's MC Suu-chan has the ability to experience strange occurences around a heritage site for about 5 mins. The striking feature in both cases is the serene, peaceful atmosphere. Try them on a rainy day and you won't regret it.

Umino Chica paints a vivid picture of the wonderful characters in both the manga. While 3 Gatsu is a bit sports (shogi) oriented, HnC is about the lives of 5 art students who are the best of friends. Rei looks like a younger version of Mayama and Nikaidou looks somewhat like Morita. Both are true gems of the slice of life genre.

'Coming of age' is the main theme in both the stories. In Solanin, while the characters are driven by angst; in HnC, the characters are driven by their indecision about their future and romantic endeavours. You can say, HnC is a better and much more romance based version of Solanin.
