Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!

NGNL plays the "isekai" genre a bit straighter than the parody that is KonoSuba, but both feature some totally laugh out loud comedy and very attractive waifu-tier girls throughout their brief runs.

Hunter x Hunter (2011)
|
Very similar feel to the world, and the aesthetic is mildly similar between the two. A pair of teenagers wander the world in service to an objective that becomes murky over time as they are swept into a grander plot with the fate of the world at stake. They are both spectacular shows as well, as seen in their MAL aggregates.

Two long-running shonen series with incredibly uplifting, irreverent protagonists, a big broad world where you have to pass an exam to be recognized as a worthy practitioner of martial arts, and anime magic in the form of chakra/Nen.

Just finished Steins;Gate but haven't had enough time looping and tragic suffering? Give Higurashi a shot! It's more of a mystery than Okabe's D-Mail adventure, but every bit as cerebral, leaving you pining for the next episode consistently.

Another monstrously successful series about a gifted youth who uses his power to change the world. Less political intrigue and a lot less high school shenanigans result in a tighter narrative.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

The Gundam series most similar in tone to Gurren Lagann, at least in terms of OVER THE TOP RIDICULOUS BATTLES AND DUDES SCREAMING THEIR ATTACKS. Seriously, G Gundam is tragically underrated. Please give it a try if you can find it, it is worth your time.

Both Bones productions about a gifted youth fighting wacky ass monsters with very high animation values, although Mob Psycho 100 is probably the better of the two.

Compelling portrayals of despair and the growing feeling of madness and regret over one's actions repeated over a time loop. Also, both White Fox productions.
