Yuuki Yuuna Is A Hero: The Hero Chapter continues the great writing that the prequal series and the end of season 1 had. It fixes most of the issues that season 1 had and I am shocked by that considering that this is half the length of season 1.
Most importantly, I think the characters all react appropriately to the situations they find themselves in (which I felt like most of season 1 was missing). Yuuki Yuuna Is A Hero: Washio Sumi Chapter is what I think the first season of Yuuki Yuuna Is A Hero should have been more often. The tone of this season is better, the characters are more consistent and better written, and it gets to the point of everything much quicker than season 1 of Yuuki Yuuna Is A Hero.

Dropped it the moment I realized it was a glorified motion comic (or in this case motion manga). I don't understand why they decided to do this as the source material is actually quite good and could've really been enhanced with animation. It just kind of feels like they didn't really care about it and quickly put it together and then offered the streaming rights to Netflix. Would highly recommend the manga over this, as it's basically the same thing but you have more material to go through in the manga (as I'm gonna guess the show doesn't fully catch up to the manga in
